THE TEMPLE OF RAYDEN
The entrance to the Temple has two massive doors made of polished ebony wood with inlaid gold. When the massive doors give way a cathedral-ceilinged corrider leads onward keeping the ebony-gold pattern along every inch and every crevice. The floor is polished black granite.
The corrider only heads forward into a huge atrium that is even taller than the corrider arches. A single beam of light is let in through a window in the atrium that catches sunlight at all times of the day. A network of reflecting mirrors position the rays into the radial center of the room. At night, Rayden takes care of the lighting. There is a constant wind in the room during Del Rio's meditation and resting period. Rayden is usually found hovering several meters above the floor of the atrium at that time. Because of the acoustics of the Temple, Rayden hears every entrance and exit, however, he always waits for the Student to address him.
