I love you...
Can't you see that what I say is true.
But I know you can't love me too. In this story, 6 men and 6 women meet through a coincidence of meetings...or is fate at hand. They fall in love, but these men and women are people of duty and responsibility. Women of poor but respected families, men of rich heritage and obligations. A world where family, money, and honor are supposed to come before love. So do they follow family expectations or do they rebel and risk all social standing, money, and respect, for the one they love. Is love truely more important then everything else?

Bio: {Born into a very rich family, his parents don't let him conversate with any others below his status. His father died of cancer of the eusaphagus and now his mother has gaurdianship over him. The doctors don't know if the cancer is in the family, or if it related to his job. Jacob didn't his fathers job, but he knew his mother is a fashion designer for men. He is often is a test subject for his mother's works.}
Personality: {Quiet, loves to read, often goes against his mother's word, Kind, very poliet, but can have a temper. He is very generous abaout things and will usually by extra food for anyone of a lower status who had no food, he believes that sometime or another that people, rich and poor alike, will be able to love each other.}

Such a thing is not expected of him, and even though he should be able to do what he would like, his parents keep him trapped. He does, however, sneak out among the peasants often, for ideas regarding his novel. His sister usually covers up for him.}

There are many parties that his parents throw in the name of Char adding to there families wealth with his brides dowery and giving an heir to their legacy. His father is stiff and uncaring, while his mother is meek and rarely spends a day at home and is off at luchions and opriately socializing with all the other well-to-do wives. Charles has yet to meet a woman who keeps his attention and meet the high standards of his family. }
Personality: {Can be very cold and arrogant. He can be a smart aleck and has a twisted sense of humor. All the while worrying over his father's approval.}

Bio: {Desmond's family are one of the rich and snobby type, of course. He tries to have fun whenever he can, but his parents won't let him. Desmond's parents, like all rich and snobby higher-class parents, want him to grow up just like them. Rich, successful, etc. But that's not what Desmond wants at all. Desmond yearns for a life of adventure and fun. With the way things are going now, he starting to lose a bit of hope.}
Personality: {Laid back, easy-going, and a lover of fun. His parents often disprove of his actions, but frankly Desmond doesn't care as long as he can make someone smile.}

Bio: {She'd been very close to her father, and after he died, she was left with a mother who was a constant spender of fianance which she didn't understand. After a few months of being broke and close to peasantry, Crystal's mother made a deal with man who was well off and quite interested in Crystal's other worldly attributes other than money.}
Personality: {She tends to be short tempered and easily hurt, even though she pretends otherwise. She has a lot of will for a woman at that day in age. On the other hand she can be extremely timid and kind to those she cares for.}

Her mother taught her many things, causing Amelia to be quite knowledgeable with the practical things of life.}
Personality: {Happy, and brings a ray of sunshine with her wherever she goes. Her sadness is deeper then most, and her anger streak runs short. She is very simple, but not simple-minded.}

Her parents died out of illness for the lack of food when Anya moved into her own home, but it wasn't too long before Anya moved on and began to study war. Now she owns a blacksmith, against the wishes of her late parents, who never liked seeing their daughter in the business of anything to do with war.}
Personality: {Quiet and emotionless half of the time, Anya only speaks when she deems it necessary, or when she wants you to just shut up. She can be annoyed easily if you tempt her. Anya is easily interested in war and action, even if she is a girl.}

Charles danced with the maidens brave enough to approach him. He wasn't really into the ball scene, but his parents insisted he hold one. Everyone had come, the secret objective was for him to find a bride. He pushed his pale hair impatiently. He only approached only a few, they were beautiful, but quickly he found there was little else that interested him. He talked to a few of the fathers, and even some brothers, playing host. But as scandalous as it may be he took a moment to himself leaning against the balcony looking out towards the garden.
Crystal looked about the dance floor. She watched as gentlemen spun the what mainly looked like stiff manequins in outlandish dresses from every spectrum of the rainbow colors. She herself had worn a simple black dress. Mainly because it was all she could afford. She leaned improprerly against the wall. She got a few dirty looks from other girls from acrossed the room. She sipped on a flute of champagne her eyes looking distant and distracted.

Light hummed as she walked admiring the roses. She stood wandering in the gardens. She didnt want to go inside because it was crowded and humid. So she would keep to herself for awhile.
One particular rose push caught Lacey's eye. She walked carefully to the bush making sure her red dress with the black lace(one in pic.) didnt get caught in the thorns. She stood there admiring one rose. It held up into a balcony wall. It was a bloody red color and it looked so elegant. She didnt want to pick it in fear because the bush wasnt hers in the first place. She didnt care if someone was there in the balcony and Light began to sing a soft melody. One of her particular favorites:Danny boy.
