These here are the Techniques that only Ijutsu Tribesman may learn, and the Proficient Techniques they teach.
These can be added to, as well. The strongest of the Techniques can only be learned by those who have specialized in their craft. However, the Ijutsu are primarily either Healers or Summoners, and as such, no other techniques can be above 'Journeyman' (or B) in rank.

Healing Techniques
Name: Minor Heal | Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked) | Type: Supplementary | Range: Touch - 30ft/rank (So 120ft at Master Rank) | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe | Description: By saying a prayer to Gaia, or the Mother as those of the Ijutsu call the Spirit of the Earth, the tribesman selects a target and heals a small amount of minor wounds from them, such as scratches, small burns, and small headaches. Small bruises are affected, too.

Name: Slow Poison | Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked) | Type: Supplementary | Range: Touch | Prerequisites: Touch, Ijutsu Tribe member | Description: By touching the area that the poison entered, and saying a prayer to Gaia, the tribesman reaches into the target and slows the process of the poison, lengthening it's spread time by 10.


Name: Delving
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Touch
Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, and touch
Description: By laying your hands upon your target, you speak the words of power and 'delve' into the target, finding what is wrong with them, if anything. This will identify if the target is poisoned, or diseased, though not the type of poison or disease. This also identifies Taint (Not going to Explain right now)


Name: Slow Disease
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Touch
Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Touch
Description: Just like the Slow Poison technique, except it works only for Disease.


Name: Detect Unlife
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: 150 ft Radius
Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Goggles
Description: By enchanting the goggles you wear, this technique allows you to sense any undead within range, even if they are hiding or invisible. Some undead can hide even from this. While it does not heal, it uses the same kind of energy, and therefore is listed here.


Name: Song of Sleep
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: 250ft + 50ft/Rank
Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Singing
Description: By humming, and then singing in a low, soothing song, the minds of the listeners' begin to fog, to slow, until they fall asleep. This is usually a small time use, as those of rank higher than Proficient are usually too well trained for this to effect them anymore.


Name: Song of Relief
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Close (50ft + 25ft/rank)
Requirements: Singing, Ijutsu Tribe
Description: By singing this song, those who hear it are filled with a sense of peace, and all pain afflicting them is forgotten. This is usually used to stop someone from feeling pain while they are operated on. This sometimes put the target to sleep.


Name: Lesser Cure
Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range:
Requirements: None
Description: Cure, after saying the words and touching the subject, basically removes colds, or common illnesses like Chicken Pocks.


Name: Light Heal
Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Touch - 25ft/rank
Requirements: Ijutsu Clan, and must have a holly branch, which you point at the target
Description: By saying a prayer to Gaia, or the Mother as those of the Ijutsu call the Spirit of the Earth, the tribesman selects a target by pointing at them with a Holly branch and heals a medium sized amount of wounds. Slashes from a sword or axe stich themselves back up, muscles begin to heal, and 1st degree burns are healed. This does not heal nerve damage, however, nor does it remove Taint


Name: Remove Light Posion
Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Touch
Requirements: Ijutsu Clan, a Holly Leaf (Found only in the Ijutsu Forest)
Description: By saying a prayer to Gaia, or the Mother as those of the Ijutsu call the Spirit of the Earth, the tribesman touches the target, and through an amount of time equal to the strength of the poison, removes said poison. There are some poisons that resist this, though they are rare and difficult to find.


Name: Lesser Regenerative Ward
Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: 100 ft radius + 50ft/rank
Requirements: Ijutsu Clan, something to cast it on (as a center)
Description: By saying a prayer to Gaia, or the Mother as those of the Ijutsu call the Spirit of the Earth, the tribesman casts the enchantment upon a certain object. All inside that area, all natural regeneration increased to twice the normal rate. This also slows the spreading of diseases and poisons in the blood stream.


Name: Silver Lining Reduction
Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: Touch
Requirements: Ijutsu Clan, and no Black Arts known
Description: By saying a prayer to Gaia, or the Mother as those of the Ijutsu call the Spirit of the Earth, by touching those who are infected with Taint and drawing a silver line around the area of entrance, using a finger to do so, the Taint will reduce inside. This is usually used to keep someone alive long enough for an advanced healer to remove the Taint Entirely.

Name: Sapphire Rain
Rank: Journeyman (Naruto = B Ranked)
Type: Supplementary
Range: 1.5 mile radius
Requirements: Blood Membershop of the Ijutsu tribe (you have to have been born into the Ijutsu tribe), Proficient Rank, Must have Water Element
Description: Sapphire Rain is a water magic unique to the Ijutsu tribe. Using this spell, the Ijutsu member can cause the skies to rain down blue magical energy on an area in a 3 mile radius from the user. The energy heals the user and their allies, while leaving innocent plant and animal life unharmed.

Lunar Sonata | Rank: D-rank to S-rank | Range: Depends on amount of magical energy put into it (D-rank: 5 metres; C-rank: 10 metres; B-rank: 15 metres; A-rank: 20 metres; S-rank: 45 metres | Type: Special, Healing | Tribe: Ijutsu Tribe | Element: Healing | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Night at time of use | Rules: You must learn each rank of this technique before you can place enough energy to make this technique that rank; each rank of this technique requires the respective rank of user, eg. Only Shuhan can learn the S-ranked Version | This healing technique can only be used at night, and is carried out through the Ijutsu Tribe's unrivaled skill in singing. This technique allows the user to sing a special song, that when at night, infuses the song with the magical energy put into the technique, the song being heard upto the maximum range for that level of the technique. The magical energy hyperaccelerates the cellular division of the human body's body cells within a safe level, which hyperaccelarates the healing process to 10 times its maximum speed, but it only has this effect at night, when the air is more moist and therefore the song carries far further than if it was able to be used during the day time. The user must continue to sing until the wounds are completely healed, most likely leaving the user open to attack.

Earth Techniques

The Great Wheel

Tremor | Rank: B-ranked | Element: Earth | Type: Attack, Defense | Range: 0 metres upto 50 metres | Tribe: Ijutsu | Requirements: N/A | Description: Tremor is a technique designed to cause a minor earthquake where they stand. First the Ijutsu user will place their hands on the ground and channel their Earth Elemental Affinity combined with their mana and Ki into the ground, causing a quake that will shake the ground violently for a few minutes. This can be used to disrupt an opponent's attack or to cause massive damage to fortifications.

Wind Techniques


Sky Strike | Rank: C-ranked | Range: All Ranges | Type: Attack | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe | Element: Wind | Sky Strike is a basic wind technique used by the Ijutsu tribe to knock out a persistent pursuer using the power of the wind element. Using this technique, the user can call down Gaia's fury on the target in the form of a blast of concentrated wind which shoots forth from the sky and moves at such a speed that it knocks out the opponent on contact but doesn't kill them. This is a hard technique in the concentration of the wind required to knock out the opponent. The wind bullet can be seen and dodged if the target has a fast reaction time, lightning reflexes and extreme agility

Vibrant Slash | Rank: C-ranked | Element: Wind | Type: Attack, Defense | Range: Close (0m~5m), Mid (5m~10m), Far (10m+) | Tribe: Ijutsu | Requirements: A dagger or shortsword | Description: Vibrant Slash is an offensive and defensive technique based upon Vibrato Blade, which allows the Ijutsu user to slash with a dagger or shortsword and use the Wind Elemental Affinity to magnify the force released when the weapon cuts through the air, releasing a blade of sound waves that cause lightly cut the opponent on impact, but although it uses the Wind Elemental Affinity, it can not release a blade of wind.

Non-Elemental Techniques

Animal Speech | Rank: Apprentice (Naruto = D Ranked) | Type: Supplementary | Range: Personal | Requirements: None | Allows you to talk to animals in their own language. Must choose a specific race of animals, such as Canine, Feline, etc. They are the animals you can talk to.

Vibrato Blade | Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked) | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: User's Weapon | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Proficient Rank | Vibrato Blade is a technique unique to the Ijutsu Tribe. Using their unrivaled skills in Singing, combined with their magical essence, an Ijutsu member can cause their weapon (preferably a bladed weapon) to oscillate at such high speeds that allows the weapon to cut through any flesh and bone like a knife through butter. The effects of this technique last for 6 posts before wearing off

Protect by Material | Rank: Proficient (Naruto = C Ranked) | Type: Defense | Range: Self | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Apprentice Rank | Protect by Material is a special technique unique to the Ijutsu tribe. Using their link to nature combined with their magical essence, an Ijutsu member can touch a physical material and absorb its properities temporarily, covering their body in that materical but there must be enough of the material to absorb (it doesn't take away from the material that is absorbed so that material doesn't shrink or disappear) in order to cover their body otherwise only a part of the user's body is covered. This technique augments the user's defense depending on the material absorbed and doesn't hinder the body's functions like speaking. This technique only works on non-magical materials and will not work on magical materials.

1000 Death Illusion | Rank: B-ranked | Range: Touch | Type: Attack | Element: Non-Elemental | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe | 1000 Death Illusion is an illusion technique used by the Ijutsu tribe to trap their foe in an illusion in order to escape. The illusion is that of one thousand people, either known to the target, family of the target, friends, pets, loved ones, anyone they know and their ancestors along with any one they knew die in an extremely horrific manner. The intense bloodshed will most likely paralyse the victim with fear for about 15 minutes (5 posts), allowing the user to escape. This technique is rarely used due to the pain and suffering it causes the victim.

Druidic Summoning | Rank: C-ranked | Range: Self | Type: Summoning | Element: Non-Elemental | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe | Druidic Summoning is a special technique used by the Ijutsu tribe to summon animal spirits to their aid by calling upon the power of Gaia and the spirit of the animal they hope to summon. People of different skill can summon different types of animal species and only Shuhan have the ability to summon gigantic animal spirits to their aid, (eg. giant spirit wolves, giant tigers, giant birds, etc)

Lycanthropcy | Rank: C | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Non-Elemental | Type: Supplementary (Shapeshifting) | Range: Self | Requirements: Understanding of most animal anatomy (so you don't kill yourself while transforming). | Description: Lycanthropcy, even though its name suggests, is not a werewolf transformation technique... infact... it is a technique that allows the user to visuallise the form on an animal in their mind, with every single detail (forget the heart and when you transform you are basically dead) included and then use their mana to flow into the shape, effectively transforming into that animal. This technique only works for animals and not for humans. Also, if the animal doesn't think or form words the same way humans do (wolves for example) the user will gain the language of that animal, able to use it in that animal form and out of it... which helps alot if you have an animal companion

Prismatic Barrier | Rank: C-ranked | Element: Non-Elemental | Type: Defensive | Range: Self | Tribe: Ijutsu | Prerequisites: Ijutsu Tribe, Druidic Summoning Known | Description: With this technique, the user can manifest their mana in a pure form, in combination with the Druidic Summoning technique, and create a prismatic energy barrier directly in front of them, being twice as tall and wide as the user is. This technique is a fast defensive technique to block incoming attacks, but when used by an S-ranked person, the barrier can absorb incoming force, multiply it and then direct it outwards back at the attacker.

Dinţi a vânător (teeth of the hunter) | Rank: C cannot kill unless A rank | Tribe: Majutsu and Ijutsu although it is very much more common in Majutsu | Element: Non-Element | Type: Supplementary | Range: n/a | Requirements: The user must have had to kill someone without any weapons or magic or any of that. | Description: The user’s canine teeth elongate and secrete a deadly bacteria. The user can simply scratch their opponent with these teeth and the target will need medical attention soon to live. The user’s teeth also get to the point where they can cut most anything.

Name: Miroase a vânător (Smell of the hunter) | Rank: C | Tribe: Majutsu and Ijutsu although it is very much more common in Majutsu | Element: Non-Element | Type: Supplementary | Range: n/a | Requirements: The user must have had to at one point in their lives, track someone with nothing but their basic senses. | Description: The user gains an extremely heightened sense of smell which can be used to locate enemies or to track them.

Name: Audierea a pradă (hearing of the prey) | Rank: C | Tribe: Majutsu and Ijutsu, but it is more common in Ijutsu | Element: Non-Element | Type: Supplementary | Range: n/a | Requirements: The user must have had to flee from someone way above their power level at one point in their life. | Description: The user’s hearing increases dramatically, making him more alert to any approaching people.

Name: viteza a pradă (speed of the pray) | Rank: C | Tribe: Majutsu and Ijutsu, but it is more common in Ijutsu | Element: Non-Element | Type: Supplementary | Range: n/a | Requirements: The user must have had to flee from someone way over their power level at one point in their life. | Description: The user gains incredible speed capable of out running most things and attacks.

Hypersonic Lash | Rank: B-ranked | Element: Non-Elemental (Sound) | Type: Attack, Defense | Range: 0 metres to 10 metres | Tribe: Ijutsu | Requirements: N/A | Description: Hypersonic Lash is an application of the concept of Vibrant Slash, and allows the Ijutsu user to sing a few notes with their voice and capture those notes into their weapon or their fingers, making two versions of this technique. The first version is that the user charges the captures notes into their weapon with their mana and ki and then slashes at the opponent and if they hit the opponent, it will be released as a sonic blast wave eminating from the impact spot. The second version is that the user charges the captured notes into their fingers with their mana and ki, causing them to glow, and then scratch at the opponent, but even if they miss, they will release visible blades of sonic energy from their fingers, which act like concussive blasts instead of razor sharp blades.

Light Techniques


Name: Solar Dragon Radiation
Rank: S-rank
Element: Light
Type: Attack
Range: 500 feet +50 feet per rank; max range: 600 feet...
Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Master Rank
Description: Solar Dragon Radiation is an elite and immensely powerful technique unique to the Ijutsu tribe. This technique allows the user to infuse their entire being with the power of one of the solar dragons of Gaia, which will manifest as a intensely bright aura of light around the user. The user can then fire massive beams of sunlight (actually ultraviolet radiation) at the opponent for a maximum of 2 minutes (2 posts after the technique is used (user's posts to be exact)).

Cosmic Defiance | Rank: S | Element: Light | Tribe: Ijutsu | Range: Any distance up to 3500 metres | Type: Attack | Requirements: Ijutsu tribe, Shuhan Rank, Spirit Crystal required, Astral Gem required | Cosmic Defiance is a powerful rarely used technique used by the Ijutsu in times of great need, by channeling all their magical and spiritual energy into both a Spirit Crystal and an Astral Gem and smash them together, to combine them into a massive orb of cosmic, astral and light energy which the user then fuses with their body, then releases the power in the form of a massive energy pulse wave about 20 feet in length and 55 feet in height, which obliterates anything in its path, due to the energy also partially being formed out of positrons, the antimatter equivalent of electrons, which destroy the electrons of any matter in the energy waves path, but can not destroy soil for some reason. The wave dissipates after it goes for 3500 metres, but literally is the most destructive attack that exists currently. However, in return for the use of such an attack, the user's spirit is shattered, killing the user instantly and preventing them from reaching the after-life. The energy wave travels at the speed of light due to the positrons, so it reaches 3500 metres in about 4 seconds, making it impossible to dodge and the massive amount of anti-magical radiation given off by the wave prevents the use of magic to survive. This technique is absolutely forbidden to use unless as a last resort when there is a threat of the entire Ijutsu tribe's imminent destruction. Also, the user must travel to the Zenbi tribe to gather the spirit crystals and astral gems required for this technique

Summoning Techniques

Acquiring Summons: Apprentice and Proficient level Summons can be taught by other Summoners who know them (NPCs, even, though other characters are preferable) or to themselves if the Summoner is of Journeyman rank or higher; Journeyman Summons and up require that one finds the Spirit somewhere it might show up and make a contract with it. This isn't usually too difficult, though if the Summoner isn't experienced enough, higher-level Summons will generally refuse to make a contract.
Summoning Limits: Master and Sage-rank Summons are unique, and only one of any such Summon can be present in any area at any one time; in addition, Master- and Sage-level Summons take enough of the caster's energy that no other Summons can be brought out by the same Summoner if such a high-level entity is present.




Apprentice Level:
Sprite Summonings: Very basic summonings, Sprites take almost no energy to summon, and are often used by Summoners as household helpers. They each appear as a small humanoid, with some form of their element present (a Fire Sprite might have flaming hair, for example). Druidic Summoning is not counted as a Sprite Summoning.

Name: Druidic Summoning | Range: Self | Type: Summoning | Element: Summoning | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe | Description: Druidic Summoning is a special technique used by the Ijutsu tribe to summon animal spirits to their aid by calling upon the power of Gaia and the spirit of the animal they hope to summon. People of different skill can summon different types of animal species and only Shuhan have the ability to summon gigantic animal spirits to their aid, (eg. giant spirit wolves, giant tigers, giant birds, etc)

Name: Summon: Book Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 500 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a Book Sprite that will organize books, scrolls, and the like and remember what they're about, making it so that a Summoner can quickly get ahold of whatever tome they want. Extremely popular with libraries and rich people who have large collections, who will often pay very well to have a Book Sprite or five permanently summoned to their building.

Name: Summon: Cooking Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a Cooking Sprite that will create meals with some or all of the available ingredients. They seem to be happier when they have better quality food to work with or are feeding a number of people, and they're friendly to pretty much everyone, hence being almost universally liked.

Name: Summon: Earth Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a low level Earth Spirit to either attack an enemy with a burst of earth or perform miscellanious minor tasks, such as minor construction assistance or looking for metals in the ground. Very popular with miners, who often hire young Summoners to just for the help of these guys. This Summon does not directly affect plants.

Name: Summon: Fire Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a low level Fire Spirit to either attack an enemy with a burst of fire or perform miscellanious minor tasks, such as lighting a campfire-or-smaller sized flame, cooking food, or igniting the laundry of that nosy woman who keeps whispering about you to your neighbors.

Name: Summon: Herb Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 1000 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning; Summoning Specialization | Description: This technique summons a low level Herb Sprite that can tell people what plants are safe to eat or poisonous to them, as well as guide them to a particular plant (assuming it's inside their movement radius).

Name: Summon: Housekeeping Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a Housekeeping Sprite that has excellent knowledge of cleaning both objects, equipment, and clothes (though not cooking); it will perform these tasks quite well, though curiously, they only work for the Summoner. Also, for some reason, they have a good sense of fashion and will often pick out clothes for the people around them to wear in the morning. Some members of nobility are fond of this personality trait.

Name: Summon: Light Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a low level Light Spirit to either attack an enemy with a ray of light or perform miscellanious minor tasks, such as lighting a path for the summoner or momentarily blinding an enemy by lighting up in their faces.

Name: Summon: Messenger Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 500 miles | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning; Summoning Specialization | Description: This technique summons a low level Messenger Bird to carry written messages quite a distance; being a spirit, it needs neither food nor rest, and it's smart enough to know the best route to its destination and avoid dangers, so long as it can be told where its destination actually is. Very trustworthy.

Name: Summon: Navigator Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 100 feet (1000 feet for sensing) | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning; Summoning Specialization | Description: This technique summons a low level Navigator Sprite that has a surprising amount of knowledge about the world and can guide the Summoner to his or her destination, usually by the route deemed safest. Very handy if you get lost in the wilderness, but without a map it can only know the layout of the land in places it's already been for about a thousand feet around.

Name: Summon: Water Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a low level Water Spirit to either attack an enemy with a burst of water or perform miscellanious minor tasks, such as dousing campfire-or-smaller sized flames, filling a cup (water only, sadly, though the water can be hot), or drenching an enemy.

Name: Summon: Wind Sprite | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Apprentice-level knowledge of Summoning | Description: This technique summons a low level Wind Spirit to either attack an enemy with a burst of wind or perform miscellanious minor tasks, such as lifting a relatively light item (things like ropes, books, or for the naughty, skirts) or blowing out/strengthening a campfire-or-smaller sized flame. Known to be useful for stealing keys from guards, too, if the guard isn't too alert.



Proficient Level:
Spirit Summonings: A more advanced version of the Sprites, Spirits are somewhat more powerful and are the level of mastery that a Summoner can reach without specializing. Summon: Spirit Wolf is not a Spirit Summoning, and is not counted as such.

Name: Summon: Archer Spirit | Rank: Proficient | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A useful sort of spirit, about as tall as a person's forearm, that carries around a moderately large bow to attack the Summoner's enemies with. From a moderate distance, anyway. Despite their small size, their weapons are full-power, and they're relatively accurate as well. Archery's what they do. Only one Archer Spirit can be Summoned at a time.

Name: Summon: Earth Spirit | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 200 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: A more powerful version of the Earth Sprite, the Earth Spirit has a stronger attack, can be used defensively (very good at raising walls of dirt to block attacks), and can do miscellanious tasks at a higher level; help make permanent structures for buildings or tunnel through rock safely. Exceedingly popular with miners, who will pay quite a bit to have a few of these helping. This Summon does not directly affect plants.

Name: Summon: Fire Spirit | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 200 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: A more powerful version of the Fire Sprite, the Fire Spirit has a stronger attack, can be used defensively (creating a wall of flames to keep an enemy back or burn away plants, for example), and can do miscellanious tasks at a higher level; lighting a bonfire is a good example, or keeping flames lit for a kitchen.

Name: Summon: Healing Spirit | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 20 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: A spirit of healing, capable of getting rid of wounds over time and poisons quite quickly. Not strong enough for fatal wounds, but pretty much anything else can be dealt with given enough time and an extra spirit or two.

Name: Summon: Poison Spirit | Rank: Proficient | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 200 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: This technique summons a Poison Spirit to either attack an enemy with a cloud of toxic gas or coat a weapon in poison to render its attacks more effective (this is usually done for others, as most Summoners don't do many attacks of their own). These spirits are more focused on making poison than getting rid of it; as a result, they're not any help at treating someone who's already been poisoned. Healing Spirits are suggested for that sort of work.

Name: Summon: Shield Spirit | Rank: Proficient | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Summoning | Type: Defense | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A useful sort of spirit, about as tall as a person's forearm, that carries around a moderately large shield to protect the Summoner or a particular target within its movement range. Not any good for attacking, and the shield, while metal, is unenchanted, but they can be useful to have around in order to block attacks and projectiles, since the Summoner doesn't need to direct their movements. Protecting is already in their mindset. Only one Shield Spirit can be Summoned at a time.

Name: Summon: Spirit Wolf | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 500ft +50ft/Rank | Requirements: Ijutsu Tribe, Druidic Summoning Known | Duration: 3 posts/Rank (unlimited summon duration at S-rank) | Description: This is a basic summon known by many Ijutsu, and is mostly the first animal spirit learnt to summon aside from tigers or other small animals. This technique summons a 'Spirit Wolf' to the summoner's side from the Realm of New-Life, who will fight along side the summoner. The Spirit Wolf is a very agile wolf and being a spirit, only silver or magically enchanted weapons can do damage to the wolf as the wolf can teleport and become ethereal at will. As it can teleport, it can teleport to the summoners side if it loses sight of its summoner. This summon can even speak and is very wise, as wolves are naturally smart animals, and instead of attacking the opponent's physical body, it attacks the opponent's spirit, able to phase strike right through any armor below the strength of steel or armor of a magical nature.

Name: Summon: Sword Spirit | Rank: Proficient | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack | Range: 100 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A useful sort of spirit, about as tall as a person's forearm, that carries around a moderately large sword to attack the Summoner's enemies with. Only one Sword Spirit can be Summoned at a time.

Name: Summon: Water Spirit | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 200 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: A more powerful version of the Water Sprite, the Water Spirit has a stronger attack, can be used defensively (often by a shield of water; very good against projectiles and anything using fire), and can do miscellanious tasks at a higher level; dousing a moderately larger fire, for example, or getting several people very wet very fast. Or filling up a pond.

Name: Summon: Wind Spirit | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 200 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Sprite Summonings | Description: A more powerful version of the Wind Sprite, the Wind Spirit has a stronger attack, can be used defensively (mainly by pushing attacks away; especially effective on projectiles, and to a lesser extent on other powers), and can do miscellanious tasks at a higher level; several books at once, for example, can be lifted and rearranged.



Journeyman Level:
Greater Summonings: Available to those who have truly started down the path to becoming a Summoner, Greater Summons begin to enter the realm of honestly powerful.

Name: Greater Summon: Nature | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 300 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A humanoid spirit capable of manipulating nature, including growing plants at absurd rates, withering plants, shaping wood and other natural materials over a ten-foot spherical radius, or even influencing the minds of wildlife or making them understand and able to speak fluently in the chosen language of the Summoner.

Name: Greater Summon: Nurse | Element: Summoning | Type: Supplementary | Range: 300 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A humanoid spirit capable of powerful healing, even to the point of helping someone recover from fatal wounds if they can be reached quickly enough. Somewhat energy-intensive, so other Journeyman (or higher) level Summons cannot be active while a Nurse is present.

Name: Greater Summon: Sound | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 300 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of four different Spirit Summonings | Description: A humanoid spirit capable of creating, stopping, or modifying sound; this can be as quiet as a whisper disguising the Summoner's voice, removing the sound of their movement, or a sonic boom launched towards enemies at the speed of sound itself.



Master Level:
Mana Summons: Master-level summons, Mana are spirits that have an unusually great amount of power, and are not to be trifled with. Mana are unique; only one of each Mana can be present at any one time on a battlefield. Worse, if defeated, they can just be summoned again.

Name: Greater Summon: Mana of Blades | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Supplementary | Range: 500 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of three different Journeyman-level Summonings | Description: A human-sized spirit capable of creating weapons of all types, and even fighting for the Summoner with a master's level of skill. Her huge variety of weapon styles are quite good for keeping people on their toes (their opponent can change styles at any time, after all), and she is completely loyal to her Summoner. She can also conjure small things like knives for use in cooking (hence 'Supplementary').

Name: Greater Summon: Mana of Elements | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: 500 feet | Requirements: Knowledge of three different Journeyman-level Summonings | Description: A human-sized spirit capable of manipulating Wind, Water, Fire, and Earth as its mistress. She has general control over lower-leveled Elemental Summons, and is capable of using her four elements for powerful attacks, mighty defenses, or very impressive miscellanious things. Like lighting a city block on fire.



Grand Summons: The power of the Summoner is rare; given to only a few members of the healer tribe in any degree of strength. The number of Master Summoners is few, the number of Sage Summoners even fewer; never have there been more than three living at any one time. A Grand Summon is only available to the most powerful of Summoners, and the possession of one is sufficient to give them enormous political power. This is the true divine blessing of a Summoner.

Name: Grand Summon: Rudraskha | Rank: Sage | Tribe: Wanderer (Ijutsu) | Element: Summoning | Type: Attack/Defense/Supplementary | Range: Unlimited | Requirements: Sage-level Summoner or Ijutsu Shuhan specializing in Summoning | Description: A huge entity, bigger than a castle, Rudraskha is said to be the Lord of Lightning that flies high above the land and the sea almost endlessly. His presence alone, nearly on the level of a deity, is known to have driven mad entire armies; certainly, no one person from the normal world has any hope of defeating him, regardless of the power of their abilities. For a Sage Summoner with a contract, however, Rudraskha will answer their call and fly down from the heavens, to protect and aid them with the power of one of the most ancient and mighty entities in the world.

Water Techniques


Swirling Blizzard | Rank: B-ranked | Maximum Range: 40 feet radius from the caster | Type: Defensive, Offensive | Tribe: Ijutsu Tribe | Element: Water (Ice) | Requirements: Sapphire Rain known, Master Rank | Description: Swirling Blizzard is a frozen variation on Sapphire Rain, creating a blizzard from the very moisture in the air, also causing the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the air to react to form dihydrogen oxide, aka water, which will then freeze instantly upon creation due to the presence of the Ice elemental affinity added into the technique, which creates a relentless blizzard that obscures vision, deflect projectiles and lowers ambient temperatures to below zero, causing hypothermia to those who are in the blizzard for a period of time. The blizzard itself is self-sustaining and will rage for a maximum of 3 days without constant magical energy flow or 7 days with constant magical energy flow.

Cone of Frost | Rank: C-ranked | Element: Water (Ice) | Type: Attack, Defense | Range: 0 metres upto 25 metres; Cone Shape | Tribe: Ijutsu | Requirements: N/A | Description: Cone of Frost is a offensive and defensive technique used by the Ijutsu to protect themselves. First the Ijutsu user will sweep their hands in front of them and take moisture from the air and then channel their Water Elemental Affinity into along with their mana and ki, and then expel a large cone of chilling air from their mouth, which can disrupt the opponent's movements and can freeze water instantly on contact.

Shuhan-Only Techniques

Spirit Chain • Discharge | Rank: Shuhan | Tribe: Ijutsu | Element: Depends | Type: Attack / Defense | Range: 500 metres | Requirements: Shuhan Rank, Spirit Chain, Ijutsu Tribe | Description: Spirit Chain • Discharge is a technique unique to the Spirit Chain of the Ijutsu Shuhans, and allows the Shuhan in question to fire bursts of magical energy from the talons of the Spirit Chain, but the physical manifestation of this energy depends on the elemental affinity used together with the Spirit Chain when the energy is discharged. When a Fire affinity is used, large blue and white fireballs are fired from the talons and can even be thrown like a grenade as the fireballs will explode on contact, causing severe burns due to the high temperature of the flames. When a Water affinity is used, blades of sharpened water are discharged from the talons, sharp enough to cut through nearly any metal due to the high pressure the water is placed under and speed the water moves through the air, however the blades can also be used like bashing attacks and instead of cutting, they hit with the force of a crushing blast of energy on impact, causing greater damage and injury. When a Wind affinity is used, blades of wind are discharged from the talons, capable of cutting through anything, to a greater degree than the Water Affinity. When a Earth affinity is used, magically charged boulders are created and thrown from the talons, capable of smashing down a castle wall which was fortified and reinforced with metal, limestone, granite and other strong materials. When a Lightning Affinity is used, lightning arcs between each talon, and if they surround the opponent, they can severely electrocute the opponent or can even kill them; but can paralyze them if the Shuhan strikes in direct melee combat with the opponent. If no elemental affinity is used, either blades of invisible force are fired at the opponent or pure magical energy is thrown at the opponent as if they were energy bolts being fired from a plasma rifle.
