I have to ask...
Is anybody else looking forward to the 3rd generation of Nintendo DS?
I didn't really pay it too much attention, until a few weeks ago.
I preordered mine last Saturday.

It looks promising. And fun.
Anything that has a camera attached to it is fun, right?

You know I usually keep up with new technologies but the DSi escaped me. What does it have that makes everyone want it?

Well I got it and I have to say Nintendo just moved up to the next level. It's like a portable Wii!

Actually, I am not. I do love the new features, but it's these new features that really annoy me as well. I, having a first generation DS (the big clunky one), find it very annoying to get a system when it first comes out only for a newer version to come out shortly after with enhanced features. The people who purchase the older version, pay the same if not more, but get less. It's really annoying. I'd much rather have seen a -new- DS with these features instead of the same old DS. I think there have been way too many new hardware updates of consoles and systems and it really isn't fair to the loyal consumer who goes out and purchases them, say day one, to only see a better, more enhanced version come out at the same price or cheaper not long after. But I guess I am excited in the way that maybe these features will pave the way for the new Nintendo handheld (whenever announced) and will be included in it as well, as have more.
