Alice was in her cell as usual, just pacing back and forth. As it was 12 o' clock on the dot, she began to hum the same song she did every day at that exact time. And when she was done singing, she'd sit down and polish her shoes. And she always, did everything with a smile.

Jacob sat on his bed watching the clock. His mind wondered around from seeing some of his "friends", to trying to find an escape route out of his cell. One nurse had once caught him trying to dig his way out with a spoon one time. He heard his door unlock and a nurse came in saying he was allowed to walk around to visit some of his "friends" for a half hour. He smiled, thanked the nurse, then walked out of his room, number 28.

Kaere was irritated. Every noise pissed her off. Natasha entered. "Hello, sleepy brain, time for your Zoloft." She dropped her pen. It clicked softly. Kaere burst from her chair. "Out! Get out!*" Natasha ran out. "Bad time?"
