-Ever have an absolutely brilliant idea for a Supernatural fanfic that you just can't seem to get onto paper?
-Ever have a craving to write a Supernatural fanfic, but can't find an idea?
If you said yes to either of those, this is the place for you.
For those of you who have fanfic ideas that you can't figure out how to write or if you just don't have time to write it, but still want to see the story, post it here.
For those of you who are looking for inspiration, come and adopt someone else's fanfic idea.
Rules:
-Give credit where credit is due*. If you use someone's story idea, don't post the fanfic without mentioning that.
-Send the finished product to the person you got the idea from.
I will keep a catalogue of the ideas up for adoption and whether anyone has adopted the idea in this second post. That way, if this topic gets really long (which I hope it does), you don't have to sort through all the pages to find a story idea you like.
Also, feel free to grab an idea someone else has already claimed. If it's posted here, it's fair game.
*speaking of giving credit where credit is due, this is an idea I saw on the Supernatural forums on fanfiction.net. It was incredibly slow moving there, so I decided to post it here to see if we couldn't get a few more hits.
EDIT: So, it just occurred to me that this post leaves out a lot of creative bases uncovered. What about those who are not literarily inclined, but have great talents involving movie editing or drawing!?! What about those with great ideas for movies or pictures, but can't draw the human figure to save their lives? What about those who don't have movie editing software?
Well, now this thread is for you guys too.
However, with this new addition, we'll all have to be a little more specific.
When putting an idea up for adoption, specify whether you are putting it up for video adoption, fanfic adoption, art adoption, or all three (or two of three).

~Fanfic Ideas Up For Adoption~
1. I want to see a fanfic about Sam and Dean running into one/some of Sam's old college buddies while they're on a hunt. Sam and Dean have to hide their secret from Sam's friend(s) and still kill the creature they're going after. As the hunt continues, Sam's friend(s) begin to suspect that Sam may not be the person he/she/they thought he was. I few things I would like to see in this are: The friend(s) think(s) Sam and Dean are crazy before he/she/they learn the truth.
Told from the point of view of the friend(s) for at least half of the story.
An original monster. (Ok, this one is just something I'd like to see period, so
it's ok if there's not an original monster in this story)

Another idea!

Like you, I can't wait to get a new one now, because I'm sick of this one. It's hardrive is too small for me to fit all my stuff on it anymore anyway =(

Still not sure who I would put for Lock and Barrel though. If it were the boys Dean would be Barrel because they both eat all the time, and Sam would be Lock because he's the 'devil' XD
But if I were using Meg or Lilith for Shock, then I'd have to use demons I'm thinking so prolly YED and Alistair for those parts XDDDD

Oh boy, there goes my mind *shakes head* Lol Both sound awesome. I'd say you should do the demon version to the original and a Sam/Dean/John version to the new song, but that sounds like an awful lot of work.
