Amanda is safe and healthy, except for a weird headache that won't go away. Still, Kyle can't shake the feeling that she's in danger. After he has a dream that she disappears again, we won't let her out of his sight. That's all good, except it starts to drive Amanda crazy. Plus, she begins to suspect that Kyle's hiding something from her, so he tells her the truth about what happened on prom night. Suddenly, Amanda's perfect image of her prom is shattered and her relationship with Kyle shows signs of strain.

Meanwhile, Andy lays down the law with Josh: No more sex. Lori finds Declan and Hillary holding hands, sparking a feud that turns BFFs into frenemies. Declan tells Lori that if she doesn't want to be with him anymore, it isn't fair for her to hold him back. Lori decides to pursue Mark, unaware of his mysterious connection to Cassidy and Latnok. And, after finding Jessi abandoned by Sarah, Nicole invites her to go home with her.

All this, AND there's a carnival in town. The main draw is a psychic, who tells Kyle that he will save his sould mate when the white rabbit swims that night. This puts Kyle on high alert to guard Amanda, but how can he save her if she doesn't even want to see him? Even after Kyle tells her about the prediction, Amanda insists he give her some space. Kyle asks Jessi to help, and she grudgingly agrees to tag along with Amanda and a bickering Hillary and Lori when they go see the band Faber Drive play on a boat.

Kyle watches hopelessly as the boat sails away, and then he sees it's name: the White Rabbit! He springs into action, but not before a spark ignites over the stage and a light comes crashing down, pushing Amanda overboard. Kyle dives into the water and saves her. But it's not Amanda. It's Jessi.

Everything the psychic predicted comes true. So does this mean that Jessi, not Amanda, is Kyle's soul mate?

Back on shore, Kyle thanks Jessi and apologizes for not being a better friend. All's well again, except Amanda knows that Kyle saved his soul mate ... and it wasn't her.

Hidden in the shadows, Cassidy pays off the psychic. Were her predictions the work of Latnok? She tells Cassidy that Kyle is special. Cassidy knows this and also knows that Kyle will do anything to save Amanda and Jessi will do anything to save Kyle.

So, just what will he resort to next?
