Guardians have always been there for us. They are everywhere making sure that things don't happen to thier owners. In return for thier service we give them life they attach to us and live a lot longer because of it. They can even live past us sometimes. These silent guardians usually took the form of animals beside us as friends and the one that we choose is the way we start acting. What happens when our silent guardians want more then just a life of protection? One has managed to change into a human. Whispering evil deeds in order to make humans, elves, and the like into slaves so they can live longer but not have to serve. upsetting the natrual balance as well. Many have turned over to them with thier humans as well. The humans having little choice being attached to thier guardian in a bond. After so many years of such bondage the humans have no urge to leave. Lots of guardians hold to the old ways but the epidemic is growing.

Guardians are colored blobs that take shape to the persons will once touched. Some live free to do thier own thing never taking a shape and never really hurting anything. A guardian can reject someone. As well most only change into the form they like or if they like the human that touches them they will change to the humans willed form. There cannot be another human guardian except the bad guy.

Guardians give thier charges powers on what kind of animal they are. Make them fit the animal you have choosen please. If your guardian dies you have the power they granted you for a little while, but each time you use them they steadily get weaker and then disappear completly. You may get a new guardian but others will sense the guardians death on you and might make it harder on getting a new on as well.

Guardians can grow to the size of thier opponent when put under enough stress (not humans though only towards other guardians). Ex: A wolf guardian against a lizard guardian. The lizard would grow wolf size maybe a bit smaller and could get no larger. Guardians can also contact eachother through telepathy. They can only talk to the human they are bounded to.

Also you don't have to have a guardian. If your guardian dies you do not die with it but it seems like a part of you does as well as the other way around.

Magic is a very rare trait amoung people. Even the elves who use to florish with it. But some find a way to do so. Though only with the help of a guardian. They can have magic even after thier gaurdian dies. Magic is almsot like moving your arm once you got it down. The first years of it are very hard. They can make things happen that might seem impossible if you learn to put your mind to it. There are only five things you can do with magic. Only one can you learn if you even have the knack for it.
1. Heal yourself and others in due time. You will heal even when unconsious.
2. Blades, you are a natraul or better fighter then the one your up against. You might still be beaten though but it is hard. Also you can make blades sharp or dull as well as make them appear out of no where. or any other weapon of choice as long as it is mostly made of metal.
3. Guardian magic, you can talk to other guardians and as well gain what they give to others for a temporary amount of time or while your in the area with them. When they leave the affects will stick with you for an hour.
4. Controlling magic, you can take control of a human counterpart of the guardian. (Doesn't work on those without one or that have had one but died) Thus gaining some control over the guardian because they care for them. You cannot make the target kill themselves or wlak into your blade but you can make them stand still long enough for you to stab them.
5. Witch magic. You can do a little bit of the impossible like float or heal a little bit. But only in small doses or if you save up in large doses but not without causing pain to yourself.

Bio: Ty was to be married off to another boy once she was fourteen years old, not wanting to do so she ran away into the night with her guardian beside her. She has been traveling ever since. Never wanted to be tied down like that again.
Side: Human but her guardian is on thier side trying to change her over.

Bio: Adirez was once an Elvish Prince who was adored by all his people. One day when he was away an army of humans attacked his home city, killing all that were there. He returned to find everything that he had ever known destroyed in a single day. Adirez had with him a small group of Elvish Hunters. Together they tracked the Human army. They followed the army for two weeks and every night they would sneak into the camp and slit the throats of dozens of Humans. Eventually there were only a handful of Humans left who were now very frightened and delirious from lack of sleep. The Elves finished them all off in one attack, but not before suffering casualties including Adirez's guardian. After they were done avenging their friends and family the other Elves wished to go find a new home, but Adirez refused, he would not stop until every Human had suffered like he had. And so they parted ways. Adirez went to the remains of his city and forged a new armor and weapon, one that would strike fear into his enemies. As he donned it he took on a new name: "Morgoth the Destroyer" and his new weapon was called "Wailing Banshee."

Bio: Liyrena has lived with her guardian for her entire life. Ever since that day when she was 6 and she ventured out into the forest surrounding her village and came back with a spider monkey. Since then they have never been seperated, despite some of the villagers attempts. Nobody ever believed that the monkey was a gaurdian, they blamed Liyrena's growing acrobatic skills and crazy flexibility on her attachment to the creature. One day, both Liyrena and her little companion decided that the trees around the forest were getting to boring and easy to climb, so the left the village and have been travelling around the forests ever since.

Bio: Nakir can not remember anything of his past. One morning he awoke in a forest all by himself. He wore white robes and some leather armor beneath it, and he found that one of his gauntlets had a retractable hidden blade in it. He found some throwing knives on himself as well. Then a Falcon landed next to him and told him that he was his guardian named Hayyel, but he couldn't explain anymore than that. Nakir also has healing magic, although he is not aware of it yet.

Powers guardian grants: Sharper reflexes and sharp teeth and claws when he wants them. He also has guardian magic.
Bio: Klen was a part of his tribe and he went through the ritual to gian his special guardian. Hidden amoung forest and diffrent terrians his tribe finds only others of thier kind acceptable to talk to. But Klen's and Yuma's call for adventure outside tribe wars brought them to run away and do thier own thing. Klen still holds his pride of his people as does Yuma for her own. She likes it better this way and so does Klen. They figured the advaeture wasn't coming to them so they would go to it.

Herik gave a small hoot at Ty as she looked above and around. Herik ahd the best eyes even above the treetops he could see food. She saw what he was talking about and pointed her bow at the seeping deer and let it fly killing it right on the spot. Herik dived down and started to dig into the meaty deer. The rest of the pack of deer ran off at the rude awakening. Ty came up to it and started a fire. Skinning it slowly and wincing as the falmes grew. She liked the dark better then the light but she could see jsut fine with the light as well. Herik got a peice of a leg and stayed up in the tree tops keeping an eye out as she prepared the meat for herself and dried the skin out.

In the distance a woman's scream broke the silence of the cool night.

Morgoth smirked at how long the woman survived while he impaled her to the door, but she died soon enough and he unstuck his blade letting her fall to the ground. He looked into the darkened bedroom, but his eyes missed nothing. In the corner the woman's three small children cowered. He walked towards them and they began to cry. Good, he thought. Morgoth took his time with them, one of the children tried running away but she was quickly impaled just like her mother. When he was done he decapitated each of the 5 bodies and mounted them on stakes outside. The he returned inside and lit the house on fire with candles and lanterns he found.

Ty sighed as she slipped off into sleep as the morning came. It was custom to have their nights their days now. It had been thise way for many years now. Herik was leading her to another town they wanted to try out as well. To find a nice place to settle down. Or what Herik was really trying to do was find otehrs like him...

Morgoth walked through the forest as well. He avoided the main trails and roads and even in his dark armor he was still able to blend in quite well. It was times like these that he wished he his comrades had stayed with him. He could use the company and could use the help in attacking larger targets. But they were all traitors to their families, and he did not want traitors with him.
As he walked he came across a human girl walking through the woods as well. He hid behind a tree and then made crossbow, that looked as wicked as his armor, appear in his hands. After fitting loading it he turned from his cover and took aim to reacquire his target.

Herik made no noise in his tree spotting the intruder. "Duck Ty...NOW!" Making the bolt miss her Ty pulled her own bow and got an arrow ready pointing it at the attacker quickly with her sharp eyesight. "What the hell is your problem?" Herik stay quiet and tried to make sure that they could react in case the man attacked again.

Morgoth heard her question perfectly, but it was a dumb question and she was a dumb human and deserved no reply. He slung the crossbow on his back and then unsheathed his sword. He slowly began marching towards her, knowing she did not have any hope of escape.

Herik swooped down and knocked into Morgoths face blinding him with brown feathers before he went out of reach. In which Ty had managed to sramble for a hiding place.

He tried swatting at the stupid bird but was unable to. Clearly she had a Guardian, he would leave the Guardian, it did not deserve to die, but if it got in his way too much he may have to kill it. Morgoth continued walking forward to find that the girl had already disappeared, but he knew she was close, humans were slow. In a deep menacing voice he bellowed, "come out come out wherever you are. Come, and meet your end. You cannot escape me." He looked around for movement, or anything that would give the girl away.

Ty stayed hidden but got her bow ready with her sharp eyes she picked out a weak spot usually the neck and underarms had a spot she could hit. She came out from her hiding spot a little ways away and let her arrow fly then retreated some more. Herik gave a hoot in the tree tops above telling Morgoth that he was up there waiting for another opening.

Because the arrow was rushed it struck his shoulder. He staggered from the close range blow but he was fine. Blood oozed out but he simply plucked out the arrow and dropped it to the ground. He checked his armor even though he knew what he would find: the silk shirt had not been broken and had prevented the arrow from going to deep. "You are a good shot, I will give you that." He now knew where she was hiding and he walked to the tree and with one powerful thrust sent his entire blade all the way through it's middle.

"HERIK!" Ty cried as the sword almost got her but only gave a liht cut on her stomach as she jumped back. Herik swooped down and tried to get past the helm with his claws to get the mans eyes but had to retreat before the man actually got him as well. Ty turned and ran at full speed away from the man knowing that Herik would catch up.

He laughed a wicked laugh at seeing her run away. Then he tugged on his sword but it would not budge. And then he recalled that he had not magically sharpened the blade before plunging it into the tree, and now that it was there it was too late. Morgoth could not believe he made such a stupid mistake. He let go of Wailing Banshee and kicked the tree in frustration. After thinking on how he should approach this he decided his only option was to slowly try and pull the sword back out.
