Short History

The world is recovering from one of its many Great Wars.

One year ago, a powerful wizard created an Empire from the Kingdom of Ankinia. This one Kingdom was not enough as he gathered a massive army and conquered the entire Continent of Licia. The Kingdoms all fought bravely, but the Empire’s armies were supported by powerful mages who drew their Magical power from Crystals. With this advantage, the Kingdoms lost the war. What was worse was that the royal families were taken prison, send to the Capital, where the Emperor himself turned the Kings in his Generals. The Kings were bound to his will as the Emperor use powerful spells to control them.

But all Empires fall and so shall the Ankinian Empire fall. The Empire was not content by having Licia under his rule. Only when all the world bowed at his feet, would he be pleased. So he send his armies to the Samund Kingdom. There all the people of Samund, Vorkim and Yinea had gathered to stop the Empire. After a long battle, The Empire was forced to retreat. The remaining three Kings send their armies after them. Not able to rest and having lost many men, the Empirial Forces were driven back to the Capital.

During the Invasion on Samund, The Shendai Order had send all their remaining Knights to Ankinia, the heart of the Empire. There a group faced the Emperor, none know who had survived the battle against the Emperor.
In a desperate moment, the Shendai Knight that last stood against the Emperor used a powerful destructive spell that killed him and the Emperor.
When the Emperor was defeat, the Generals that had survived regained their freedom and immediately ordered their forces to stand down.
That day many men were killed and all the Kingdoms in Licia lay in ruin. Licia is a wasteland were there is only chaos. Now, it must rebuild.

3. No godmodding! Let your characters lose a fight! It adds drama and excitement!
4. No flaming! Be nice and friendly to each other!
5. No cybering! Romance, however, is greatly encouraged!
6. Don’t kill other characters! Pm me if your character can die and I’ll let everyone know.
7. Pm me your profile(s)! Title your pm ‘I join, I get cookie?’ and add a ninja in the pm.
8. Create 1 or more characters! The rule is to keep track of them. You can always create one later on.
9. Be literate! Use “ “ to speak and don’t use * * for actions. Also any Ooc goes between (()), {} or anything like those.
10. Be active! Let me know when you will be offline for a period, oki?

Personality: Caring, protective, helpful, wise, smart, brave. The Shendai Lord looks after his Knights like a father looks after his children.
Bio: No one knows how old the Shendai Lord is, but many believe he created the Shendai Order. Because of this, many Knights call him Shen. Due to the fact he rarely takes of his armour, none has seen his face and known what race he is. Even if the Knights know little about him, he has earned the trust of every Knight and has never let anyone down.
Appearance: Shen
Other: Shen was amongst those that faced the Emperor and knows what happened during that final battle. Of course, he doesn’t speak about it, even when asked.

Bio: Alexander was brought to the Shendai Order a few month after the fall of the Empire. His father couldn’t protect him from the Magic haters and thus the Shendai Lord came to bring him to the Shendai Order. His father was a royal guard and trained Reider in combat, the Shendai Lord trained him in Magic.

Other: He once had a brother who was a Shendai Knight, but doesn’t mention him.

Age: Around 50 (looks 20)

Magic: Elemental Magic
Personality: Quiet, smart, calm, keeps to himself. He will help others, but he is distant and doesn’t let anyone get to know him, nor does he want to know others.
Bio: One of the few survivors of the Assault on Ankinia. He was amongst the Knights that took care of any hostile forces in the capital, while an elite team took care of the Emperor. During the fight against other Mages, he had lost many friends and fellow Knights. That battle had shook him to his core and changed his personality. Because he lost a lot of friends, he doesn’t befriend easily, not wanting to lose another friend.

Other: His real name is unknown as the Shendai Lord found him as a small child. Everyone has know him as Vincent.

Name: Mitsuki Kuromori
Race: Demon
Age: Probably 300 years old. She looks 18.

Personality: Quiet, but not shy. Mitsuki speaks only when she thinks it is necessary. Otherwise she is cunning, and sometimes may get annoyed easy.
Bio: Mitsuki was among the very few survivors. She had suffered from a damaged arm for a long time after the assault of Ankinia, but by now her arm is back to normal. Though she lost many friends during that time, she remains unshaken and still trains herself hard to this day.

Other: Mitsuki hates being annoyed, but she is mostly calm. Despite her quiet personality, she is tough and smart and doesn't take crap from anybody.

Personality: Star is energetic and sarcastic. She is not always angered, but when she is she can be scary.
Bio: Star's parents taught her everything she knows about combat, and even a little bit of magic. They were members of the Shendai Order as well. When they were both killed during the assault, the Shendai Lord took her in, already knowing of her skill.

Other: Star pretends her parents never died. She's not the type to stay with her past.

Bio: Her father was a castle guard, her mother a mage. After the attack on the castle her mother took her up the mountain to live and train.

Personality: Jumpy at times, and very energetic. He loves to have fun and tries to spread a little humor in a tough situation.
Bio: Nobody really knows much about Kade Toshiro, except that he lived alone without any parents. He joined the Shendai Order before the assault, and was one of the very few that had survived. Even though many had been lost, he tries to put it aside. Today's a new day!

Sami bounded down the stairs to the courtyard. She headed towards the training area in a hurry, but bumped into someone. "Hey! What's the hold up?" She looked at who it was and saw it was Alexander. "O! Sorry. Late too?"

When Sami bumped into him, Alexander was startled as he didn’t saw her. At first he feared he’d bumped into the Shendai Lord. That would really be a bad way to start the day.
Seeing it wasn’t him, he was relieved.
“Sorry, I didn’t see you there.” He extended his hand to help her get up, “You’ve got the early training session?”



Entering the court, Vincent saw Kade.
Vincent knows Kade from when he joined the Order shortly before the assault, but hasn’t seen him till afterwards. All he knows, Kade could get a bit too energetic.
With a polite good morning wave, he continued down the hall that would lead to the Shendai Lord’s room, seeing as he wasn’t in the court.
