Here We have the Martial Arts of " name pending".
Martial arts go under your character's Talents section. Just copy and paste the art you want to use from here. The exact movements and personal special moves are left up to you. This is just to give you a base martial art to use.
A brief note On Chi
In this world there is more then just magic. There is also the power of the soul, or Chi.
Humans are born with equal amounts of each type of Chi. While beings like Tengu and Dragons are born with a dominant chi. Through training a human can learn to channel their chi into a potent force rivaling magic in its power.
Types of Chi
Fire
Earth
Wind
Water
Heavenly
Demonic
Pure( Balanced or nonaligned. very few Arts use no chi and even fewer use balanced.)

Most martial arts use 1-2 Types of chi. If you chose to use both an art and magic then your magic must match one of the Chi elements your art uses. ( note a user of balanced Pure Chi is banned from the use of magic. as that would throw them out of balance)

In the Video examples im gonna use a lot of Video games and some sparing anime. This is due to the fact that a video game often follows through with the painful finish of a move rather then stopping. most live demonstrations can't for obvious reasons.

Ch-2 Duel Elemental arts

A foot note on duel elements- Most arts use two elements. The discipline needed to focus on a sole element can elude even the most determined fighter. However that does not make a Duel Elemental Chi art any less of an art.


Bajiquan
Earth and Water Chi
Bajiquan Is an art that focuses on opening the opponents defenses and striking at a vulnerable place. As such A user of Bajiquan will watch an opponents stance in order to find a way of breaking it for a moment. Using their Chi a Master can cripple an opponents chi or body in a very few moves.

Piguaquan
Wind and Water chi
An art known for soft movements and devastating chops to the body and neck. Piguaquan users are experts at Knocking an enemy about as though they were caught in a hurricane or a river.

Kenpo
Earth and Water Chi
(before I begin I know there are many things called Kenpo. I am only using the one I have seen Which is a mix of Tai-chi and Karate.)
Kenpo artists are the masters of distance martial arts. Keeping their foes at a mid range through knock back attacks and powerful punches. One of their signature attacks is a slam with their back and shoulder that can send an opponent flying.

Bushido
Heaven and any other element
Bushido is the way of the warrior. There are hundreds of schools and while each may have a different elemental chi and formal sword style the over all teaching of honor and discipline is the same.

Ch-4 Of Heaven and Hell
Oni and Dragons have been in this world far longer that almost any other races and in their time they have also founded some martial arts to take advantage of their unique Chi. Dragons, Oni and Humans related to ether are know to use the arts described here.

Ryuken
Heavenly Chi
Ryuken is the Dragon martial art. Usualy only used by a dragon with a human form or a human with dragon blood . The users of Ryuken combine their innate magic With the stuff of the heavens to form a perfect fusion of elemental and physical combat. It would not be odd to see a master of Ryuken shatter an entire building in a single blow.

Oniken
Demonic Chi
Through this style Oni can face Dragons and magic users on an equal level. Controlling their natural dark powers they can cause various effects that would usually be associated only with magic. The oppressive Aura of their Demonic Chi can force a man to kill himself rather then risk fighting the oni. Some can cause the environment to warp and split in their wake. Almost as a price for such power Oni that master Oniken rarely live for more then a few years before being killed by ether those that fear them or another Oni looking to prove themselves.
