Mitsuhide made camp on the bank of the Xi Jiang River. It was a few minuets before sunrise and he was making dinner. Yuki was a good cook, but she usually didn't cook the food. Preferring to eat the meat rare rather then having to deal with the heat of a fire or disgustingly hot food.
As he gutted the duck she had take out of the air with one well thrown ice shard; Mitsu read it's entrails. Cocking an eyebrow at the results he added some more rice to the cook pot, and brought out an extra cup for tea.
" Yuki" he said through the tent flap. " Find the Saki We will have a guest for dinner, and the Spirits are smiling on the visit. So we might not have to eat them. "

A few minutes later a beautiful young woman with long white hair and wearing a black dress came walking out of the woods into their camp. She was accompanied by a Samurai in black armor. The Samurai wore his mask and helmet still and he carried several different weapons.
They stopped a little ways from the camp and the woman said, "are you Mitsuhide Kimon?"

Pouring yea another cup Mitsuhide Looked them over. Humans. Odd that they had sought him out. Odder still the spirts seemed to shy away from the woman. " Indeed, But you have me at disadvantage my lady. Who are you that the spirits fear to tell me of your approach?"
( After reading her profile I'm just guessing they would fear or respect her enough to leave Mistu in the dark.)

The woman approached and sat down at their table in the camp. Her Samurai guard followed, but she motioned for him to back off, and he complied. "Some call me the White Haired Demoness," she smirked at the name, "but you may call me Ni Chang."

Mitsuhide held back a light chuckle. " Are they so bereft of demon-kind that they must label someone like yourself as one of my kin. Should I call you the White Haired Human it would be more true and more fearful besides. Fools. "
With skill befitting an imperial samurai he served the tea. " So what brings you to my camp dear lady?"

"Hello," Ni said to Yuki. Then she returned to Mitsuhide, "besides my own personal skills as an alchemist I have several allies you will find of use, to some degree or another." She motioned to her Samurai guard. "This is Mashou," the Samurai bowed, albeit slightly, at the mention of his name. "I have a Tsuchigumo Assassin in my employ and I am well acquainted with a very ravenous Dragon."

Mitsu bowed in a like manner to Mashou. Turning his attention back to Ni he pondered her offer of allies.
" A tempting offer indeed. So tempting in fact that I must wonder what this mutual interest will cost me. Blood, Vengeance, Power, the simple joy of carnage. These are the coin of my people and I suspect they are yours as well. "
He chuckled as his human appearance slipped. His skin darkened several shades and the third eye in the center of his forehead opened slightly.
" So which is it that make you see my conquest as a viable source to quench your needs. "

"My desires are my own," Ni said, "and they will cost you nothing. If you believe otherwise then at anytime you can dismiss me from service." She tried to make it clear that she did not want to discuss why she wanted to help.

Ni waited a moment and then upon seeing that the conversation had concluded she rose from her seat. "I must now go and rally my allies to your service. I will return when that is done. Mashou can help you find me in the mean time should you need me."

He looked the Samurai over for a moment and then rolled over onto his side. " You can do as you wish, but I advise you to save your strength. Yuki and I prefer to travel at night. "
Yuki showed Mashou out of the tent and closed the flap behind her with a smile. " Sleep well Mashou" She whispered through the flap.

The day passed into night as it always had. In the early afternoon Mitsuhide left the tent alone and returned a few hours later with meat and what looked like half healed wounds from a tiger. He didn't say much as he packed up the camp and prepared some food to eat as they traveled. When the sun finally left the sky Yuki emerged from the tent and finished the packing. They set off for the Nipon Army's base near Di Yu.
