Coranna fluttered above the treeline, obviously not in any hurry to go anywhere. Her eyes scanned the horizon, just forest for a long while now. Stupid humans followed her all the way to Xia Pi. Though, she couldn't get completely angry, she had some more human blood in her than most Tengu. She didn't know where her bloodline was disturbed, but she knew it had happened. She knew she had to get away from the humans, or at least the ones that knew about her arrest. She began to plot her way. She knew they would follow her, so if she went to the end of the Wu Province and then cut across the ocean then the humans would have to take the long route around. She smirked at this plan, although the trip across the ocean would be tiring. She'd have to stop at town at some point. Her thoughts were interupted as an arrow appeared out of the treeline and narrowly flew past. Glancing behind her, Coranna could barely make out atleast 5 humans pursuing her. "Tsk tsk." She smirked, turning about on a dime and throwing her arms and legs back. In one giant motion, she brought her arms, legs, and wings forward, creating a great gust of wind that swept toward the humans. It hit just before them, on a couple of trees that creaked and then snapped beneath the sudden and powerful gust. There were three cries of shock, and two of agony. With a satisfied smile, she turned back around and continued on her way.

(Ok, I will make a profile for this guy later, I just haven't got around to it yet. What you should know is that he is a ninja, probably won't talk much, and I am thinking he won't know magic.... but not sure yet.)
A pair of eyes glistened in the morning light as they watched the disgusting Tengu-Human hybrid escape. He knew that the others trying to catch her were too weak to capture this one. They thought in too simple of terms, but he was different. He never let his prey escape. He jumped down from his perch in the tree tops and then hopped from tree to tree to follow his prey, and waited till an opportunity presented itself.

Coranna slowed as she noticed the emptiness in her stomach. Scanning the trees, she searched for a fruit-bearing one. A little ways off she spotted a tree, it's green foliage speckled with red fruit. Swooping down, she hovered over it curiously. Apples! Staying above the branches so her wings wouldn't get caught, she reached down and selected a decent sized apple and began munching on it happily.

Suddenly a snare came hurling out of the trees and wrapped and bound her ankles together. And a metal chain wrapped around her neck and someone with great strength gave a strong tug on the chain to bring her down.
(I apologize if that was too... um... autohitting ish. I can change it if you like. Oh and the snare is like a rope with a lead ball on either end that you throw and it wraps around the target... not sure what the real name is...)

( I know what you're talking about, and it's okay, she probably wouldn't have been able to dodge it or seen it coming.)
Coranna gave a gurgling-gasp as the chain wrapped about her neck. Before she could respond she felt herself suddenly being pulled to the ground, the branches beating her wings savagely. Slipping one hand beneath the chain, she tried to loosen it's grip. Flipping herself around, she tried to aim her legs at the ground, and hopefully her attacker so they would receive a fury of talons and spikes from the bracers on her legs.

The hunter's eyes widen as his prey dug into his chest. Warm blood oozed out in several places but the damage was minimal as his silk clothes did not give way. To escape this attack he threw some small explosives at her which exploded feet from her face creating a smoke screen. The chain about her neck released it's grip and when the smoke cleared the attacker was gone.

Coranna screeched like an angry crow as the smoke cleared, but nothing was there. She had caught a breif glimpse, but that was all. Glancing down at her talons, she notices the blood coating their tips. At least she had hurt him, but she was stilled peeved that she didn't finish the job. Looking around the area cautiously, she couldn't find any hint of the attacker. After letting out another angry-bird-cry, she crouched down and shot upwards with the power of her legs and the wind she was propelling herself with. Her wings took another beating despite being folded, and as she appeared above the treeline and unfolded them, feathers were every which way. She hovered again, searching the trees for the hidden attacker, an arrow from her quiver pinched between her index finger and thumb.

She was ready for another attack. He had fought Tengu before and new they often had their arrows poisoned. He might be able to survive the poison but he didn't want to risk it. So he hid himself well and would continue tracking her till another opportunity arose to finish the job he had started.

She hissed quietly, annoyed that the person had not reappeared. Stuffing the arrow savagely back into her quiver. She flapped her wings savagely and she was on her way again, nearing Guan every second.
(I'm just going to sit and wait till you're done with RP fight there. Or I may make Coranna camp outside for a bit. Not sure yet.)

Mia smiled up as she saw Coranna and Nya. Mia looked very tired though as so did all of them. Once Coranna landed and Nya winced on her leg Mia slowed down. "I think we need to find a food place to hide and rest. We can't keep going like this."
"Nya can keep going Mia I don't want to get caught."
"I'm not saying you can't keep going but we are all tired, you and I are pretty hurt." Mia looked tired and like she almost couldn't take another step.
Nya also looked bad her leg was bleeding a bit through the bandages and her fur was all matted up as well as her tail was drooping down from lack of energy. "Alright lets find a place then..."

Coranna smiled softly at the reunited sisters. Her wings ached from carrying double her weight, so for now she walked. She peered at Mia and Nya from the corner of her eye curiously, "So, you're Mia and you're Nya?"

Nya smiled,"Yes I'm Nya of course! Thank you for helping me find my sister and helping us escape."
Mia smirked at the tengu. "What your name?" Mia knew a bit about tengu being very hostile but there was always some of each race that could be fine and Coranna was not on Mia's bad list at the moment after everything she had done.

Coranna paused before smiling and responding, "I'm Coranna, and you're welcome, seemed like you needed the help. Why the heck are you being persued by those soldiers anyways?" She had paused because she wasn't sure that giving these two her actual name at first was a good idea, since she too was running from the military. But they were too, and rebels had to stick together.

Mia smiled at Coranna,"Well I tried to do a jail break that went horribly wrong. As well Nya tried to save me it seemed after I got caught and then escaped. I don't know when she met you but it seemed that you helped as well after that. Nya did a good job though never seen her use so much magic at one time. Mia smiled at Nya.
Nya gave a small embarassed but tired meow. Nya had to sit down as well they hadn't gotten far but far eough to get some cover in the night they would most likely not be found. She looked at her leg and the bite marks on it were oozing it didn't look infected though it was just hurt.
"You okay Nya? You should clean the bandages and the wound we are going to have to just reuse them this time but next town we will get you some new ones."
Nya nodded,"Yeah I am alri...Oh my gosh meow! Mia! You have an arrow in your shoulder!" She pointed at the crossbow bolt still in Mia's right shoulder. It had dried blood around it by now. The shoulder was swollen almost to a horrible extent.
Mia tenderly touched it and winced,"Yeah I noticed that a while back. I suppose we should get it out and clean it up." She gave it a small tug and sat down heavily from the pain of it.... "Coranna...could you do this for me please? Nya you might have to get ready with some water to wash it out." Mia ripped her shirt with her usable hand to make bandages out of it. She grabbed one and wadded it into a ball. "Just make it quick the bolt is going to some damage getting out but more if it stays in any longer." She put the wadded ball of cloth in her mouth to stop herself from screaming or gritting her teeth.
Nya bounced around in worry making this more impossible. "Mia are you sure. Coranna be careful please!" The water she had in her hand was sploshing around.
