Once they got him into the town Tyler had lost hope. He was looking to the skies for any sign of them. There seem to be none, he kept the girl in his arms to keep her safe and while she kept crying he kept stroking her hair. She had been brave when he had been shaken now she had lost all her courage once they got into the town. Tyler shushed her quietly. "I've got a plan."
The girl looked frightened. "They hurt you enough Tyler please don't try anything more." She touched his cheek where he had been hit and he winced. "I have to I'm not going to just let them do this Marle."
He didn't have much choice even with his kicking and squirming they just hit him more. He bit one and almost got away but they caught him by the legs and dragged him back. He had scrapes all over him as well as he seem to ache everywhere. "Better get use to it kid now behave so they can look at you."
A woman who was very nice cleaned him up the best they could and inspected him. The man must have gotten the price he wanted because he left him there. He was then led to work at a salt farm. Some of the kids there were coughing up blood form inhaling too much. After three hours of ork and misbehaving inbetween Tyler just fell unable to take much more of this. He let them try to beat him back up but he was done for the night. One slave picke dhim up and helped him to his quarters at the end of the night. "Better get use to getting up kid or you won't make it very long." Was all Tyler remembered hearing before going back to sleep.

Esme walks alone in Luo Yang as Galla takes to the skies, searching for any sign of Tyler or slavers as she flies around. Esme looks around, her eyes searching feverishly for anyone who might have a clue as to where he is or might be. After three hours of wandering around, she stumbles across a pair of men, one who looks to have fresh scratches on his hand and bruised knuckles as if he'd been hitting something, hard. She stops, and just stares for a moment. She pulls her hood a bit lowered to truly keep her Neko ears covered, her tail is concealed as well under her kimono, along with her weapons. She continues to stare for a moment more, debating on how to begin the conversation with the scruffy looking man.
((How's that?))

(Oh good idea ^_^)
The men felt like they were being stared at. A hooded figure wasn't something rare when they dealt in selling people and other items. "You want something lady?" He asked in a gruff voice but not unkind especially to someone who could be a potential customer.
Tyler woke up early being forced awake by the people and his room mate that had brought him here lifted him by his shirt and made him walk. "I don't need a kid to watch over and get in trouble for so walk faster and get use to all this." Tyler gave a small nod and picked up his pace even though he was sore all over. He started taking the grain to the farm house at least he got to breath fresh air outside. They switched jobs everyday so the slaves wouldn't die in the salt farm from the over exposure to the bad air in there.
Tyler was knocked over and his grain stolen so they could add to thier own pile. In the end during the small break they got Tyler didn't have the right amount ot make them happy and he didn't get anything to eat. "You want to eat you work harder and pick up the pace." Was all they aid as they passed him by with the bread and water. He was so thirsty after all the work just to get most of it stolen and then not eat and drink for it.

Esme paused, wondering what to ask, it was quite obvious that the man had gotten into a scrap with someone or something that was practically defenseless and overpowered by him. "Yes, I am, um, looking to buy a, worker." She said, feeling truly hesitant as she spoke, her nerves were everywhere.
Galla continued to fly around, looking for Tyler and any sign of trouble, just in case things got out of hand where Esme was.

The man frowned,"We just sold the last ones to the salt farm here if you can wait a week I can get you a worker. Anything in particular that you want?"

That was all that she needed to hear. "Oh no, no, I'll just come back in a week and see what you have." She was careful not to show any joy or any emotion at all for that matter. She didn't want the man to catch on to why she was really there. She began to walk away, not saying anything more, smiling secretly under her hood.

Tyler didn't want to go back and work to get everything taken from him. He didn't have the energy with no food and he felt like blod was always in his mouth because of the lack of water. Just a little work in the sun made him want to fall down.
The boy that had told him he didn't want to take care of him offered Tyler some water. Tyler gulped some down without question. "Watch your back I'm not watching it for you again." Was all the boy said when he gave Tyler some of his grain that he had picked into his basket. Tyler gave a weak smirk,"When my friends come to ave me I'll take you with me I promise."
"Your friends probabaly sold you for some money. They aren't comin for you let go of your hope quickly or it will just hurt you."
Tyler frowned,"Your wrong you just wait." Tyler returned to work the boy just grunted and did the same.

((what a doodeyhead! hmph! i should kick him in the shin! bein all mean to my Tyler!! then again, i do understand and all, poor kid. wait, i should be writing my part! oops!))
Esme went back to the outer parts and removed her hood. She hated concealing her identity, but in those parts, it was truly reasonable. She blew her whistle and Galla came flying back immediately.
"Did you find anything?" she asked. "No. How about you?" Well, I found out he was sold to a salt farm, but, I didn't ask where. I just hope there aren't that many..." she said as she let her gaze and voice trail off. She was hoping that she'd find Tyler again, he was counting on it, she knew that for sure. Galla picked up on her sadness and nudged her with his nose, "Don't worry, we'll find him. And, I think I saw some salt farms, we can try checking out those." She nodded and then hopped onto his back, all the while hoping he was right, that they would find Tyler. She had no intention on stopping 'til she did.

(Lol, I actually wanted to ake him a character he is human by the way.)
There were actually only hee salt farms in the place and Tyler was working on one a bit further from town then the others. He wiped away sweat as he finished his work and the other boy was done as well when the bell rang for thier dinner. Tyler was able to eat and it wasn't anything good ut tough ol meat a bit of rice and some water. It tasted like heaven to him either way and ate it quickly before anyone could get it. He was learning quickly. "Whats your name?" He asked the boy who had helped him even if he hadb't wanted to. "Cody." "Mines Tyler..." He didn't say anything after that it was time to get back to work a little then go to bed and start this over again.
Tyler fretted on when they would get him. He was beginning to worry they wouldn't come.

Galla took Esme to one salt farm where they eyed the slaves in captivity in secret, not letting anyone know they were there. Once it was clear that Tyler was not there, they decided to move on to the next one. Seeing how it was getting dark, they decided to camp out in the woodland area not to far from the farm, formulating a plan.
E--"Well, we can fly in and snatch him up. That'll be quick and easy." G--"Yes, it will easily get us killed." E--"okay, well, that may be a possibility, but still, it's a plan none the less." G-"Okay, that will be plan, Z." E--"Z Galla, Z? G--"Okay, well, we'll skip around on a few of the letters then, how about that?"
Esme alughed softly and then continued making up schemes to get back Tyler.
They talked a little more until she fell asleep, and as usual, Galla kept watch while she rested.

(I figure at night they will sneak in and get him so he can grab the other guy too.)
Tyler woke up with less hope then the last day. Did he not leave enough clues? Why weren't they comng for him? It didn't help that Cody mocked him some, Tyler knew it was this place that had made him so uncaring towards hope. Tyler knew he was nice underneath he had helped him quite a bit.
Cody kept looking back at Tylers progress he was still running low. "Look do it like this and you'll get done faster." He showed him how to better choped them adn how to choose easier targets. "See? Three times more in lass time."
That afternoon Tyler got his meal thanks to Cody. "Thank you Cody for the tip."
"Didn't want you taking my water again you know?" Was his answer.
Tyler smirked it was jsut Cody's way, he could understand it though. Cody was nice and even the other slaves didn't mess with him and therefore didn't mess with Tyler since it seemed he wasn't to be messed with.

((Lol, that shall be plan A! Thank you ^_^))
The next morning she woke, feeling as though she hadn't slept at all. She was still tired and depressed and upset that Tyler wasn't by their side still. "You didn't sleep," Galla said. She nodded, although, he wasn't asking, of course knew it, he kept watch all night and saw her tossing and turning and even crying at some points. "We need to find him. Poor Tyler, who knows what's being done to him. I can't let another minute go to waste."
And with that, they searched the next farm feverishly, and found no sign of him. Soon, night came. "Esme, come now, you need to rest," Galla pleaded. "No, this is the last one, he has to be here Galla, he's counting on us, let's go." "As you wish," and with that, he flew down to the farm. Luckily for them, it was night time and her cloak was dark. The two were hidden by the night, making it easier to take him once he was found, but a little hard to find.
"Maybe if we looked in the morning-," Galla started, but then, he caught Tyler's scent. "Esme, he's here! I can smell him! He's here!"
Galla stayed behind, but close, as Esme advanced towards the farm, hoping that they found Tyler, alive. She was highly afraid of how he would look or the condition that he'd be in, especially after she saw what he did to his captor. "He has to be here...," she whipsered as she went to where Galla said Tyler's scent was strongest. It looked to be where workers would be kept. "But what if-" so many thoughts raced her mind, as well did her heart as she drew closer and closer to where she prayed he would be.

Tyler hadn't been able to sleep well in a place like this at all. He was getting slightly used to working on no sleep. It seemed the other slaves were sometimes the same. Tyler heard whispering which was normal but he could have swore it was Galla he heard. He peeked outside and the other slaves thought he was making a run for it. "Cody Cody come here." He said shaking Cody awake. "What?"
"They are here for me your coming with..." Cody bit his lip but gave a nod he had nothing to lose with trying to run away. He opened up one of the doors and looked but he couldn't se anyone. Tyler could with his ngiht vision though. "Esme come here!" He whispered to her waving her over.
He was covered in dry blood and scarpes everywhere but he smiled.

Esme ran to him, tears filled in her eyes. She grabbed him up at once, but in a gentle hug. "Oh my Tyler, little brother," she rubbed the side of his face gently, "What have they done to you?" by now, tears were streaming out of her eyes. She hadn't noticed the other boy as yet, she was still in shock at the sight of him, and, at the fact that she and Galla had managed to find him.
