Kingdom of XuchangDominant Race(s): Humans Places of Significance: Allegiance: Kingdom of Xuchang Population Size: 1,400,000 Services: Blacksmiths, Mercenaries, Merchants Overview: This is a very imperialist Kingdom. Their leader is a dying Emperor but most of the actual governing is done by his Warlords. The Emperor's only son is 11 years old and too young to lead, and so no clear successor has been defined yet. Although this Kingdom is dominated by Humans although Nekos are occasionally seen doing trade in some of their cities. Map Location/Picture:

After only a few days they reached the vast open plains of the Kingdom of Xuchang. For as far as the eye could see it was rolling hills with small forest groves here and there. Farms, villages, and winding roads were also sprinkled all throughout the land. The group traveled on a weathered dirt road that would lead them north to the mountains where Gilgamesh had met the Sorceress.
(That is all I have at the moment....)

Tyler was riding on Galla's back since his feet had started to hurt ten minutes back.
Cody was starting to hate traveling now. He would much rather like it if he was alone. Maybe he would start going on hunting trips by himself but with other people around him all the time it started to feel calustrophobic even in such a large area.
"Are we there yet?" Tyler complained. Whihcb was actually a little bit of Nvira as well. Whom was geting very impatient to get back to her world and do pay back on Dais. She didn't wnat to wait too long or Valen would start to lose that tie to her that made him addicted.
(I'm thinking about getting Cody to seperate for a little whiole after the sorceress because I want him to meet a character I'm going to make.)

Enkidu rolled his eyes so that nobody could see. Gods, if they think this is difficult traveling then I can't wait till we reach the mountains, Enkidu thought to himself sarcastically.
Gilgamesh too was getting bored already. He was starting to look twitchy, in need of a good fight. Plus he was hungry too. Everyone else thought it was a good idea to conserve food while journeying, Gilgamesh was from the school of thought that believed in eating as much as possible all the time.
Gilgamesh sighed and looked around. Up ahead he saw a wagon that looked to be carrying a heavy load of something. Gilgamesh grinned and looked at Enkidu.
Enkidu stared back at him, "n-" the Kitsune began but it was too late.
Gilgamesh started running to catch up to the wagon.
(So Gilgamesh is like... an antihero. At the end of the day he will be on the side of good, but getting there he will pick on everyone he sees, just because it is fun...)

Nvira was intrested in what Gilgamesh was doing. "lets follow!" She said with some enthusiasm, something diffrent then what tyler was feeling at the moment. Who sighed and jumped off Galla and ran after him.
Cody grabbed his arm,"Wait a moment, don't just rush head first into things Tyler. Anqalyze the situation. Are you really going to attack some poor people in a wagon?"
Tyler pulled his arm away and Cody let go easily he had just wanted to get his message through. "Nvira and I just wanted to see."
"Yea I'm sure..." Cody mumbled to himself as Tyler now walked fast closer to the wagon where Gilgamesh was going.

"He won't kill them," Enkidu said to Cody, "at least not probably... Gilgamesh just likes picking on others so that they will hopefully push back, and when they do he pushes them back harder and it makes him feel good about himself." Enkidu sighed, why was he following this moron around again? "But I guess we should join him just to make sure it doesn't do anything too stupid." Enkidu ran after Gilgamesh also.

"I'll handle it." Cody said behind him so Esme didn't think she needed to over exert herself. He ran up with Endiku to make sure nothing bad would happen to the people as well as Tyler.

When Gilgamesh caught up to the wagon he jumped infront of them and swung his swords around in a show of his skills. "Haha! Fear mortals, you face me! Gilgamesh! Hand over your goods and your lives shall be spared!"
The men riding in the front of the wagon looked at each other, not believing that someone was attacking their wagon. One of them said something into the back of the covered wagon. A moment later the back opened up and armed soldiers started jumping out. There were 8 of them on the ground, all armed and armored, from their uniforms it looked like they were from Xuchang.
Gilgamesh was not impressed, "hmpf, only 8?"
Then two of the soldiers on the ground tore the canvas off of the wagon to reveal a repeating arrow shooter, one of the many inventions of Xuchang that they used to make themselves the dominant force in the world.
Gilgamesh grumbled, "I hate arrows..."

(metal. And the repeating arrow shooter is like... a clock work device. All of it's parts and ammunition is hidden inside of a wooden box with a slot along one side to shoot the arrows out of and a crank on the other side to work the machine.)

Tyler moved nimbly once he saw the arrow shooter, knowing he would have to use his quickness to get to the soldiers before they shot holes all through the whole party.
Cody was getting his magic ready, not something he liked to use all the time though. He would rather use his own fighting skills but this was going to be a tough battle. Eight people and an arrow shooter.
Nvira reveled in the thought of more blood and control over Tyler. Giglamesh was doing her a couple of nice favors. She would have to reward him somehow if everything worked out.

The soldier on the arrow shooter started cranking the weapon, his first priority was to take out Gilgamesh. A hail of arrows shot at Gilgamesh and the large Oni rolled to the side. The gunner followed him and kept shooting.
"Oh forget dodging," Gilgamesh yellled. He pulled out all of his swords and once and started swinging them about in a circular fashion as quickly as he could. With so many swords spinning so fast he was able to at least knock the airs so that their path and speed would be interrupted. He kept on doing this while advancing on the wagon.
Enkidu meanwhile wrapped himself in a whirlwind of fire as he ran forward, every footstep he took set the ground a fire for a brief moment. The soldiers however were not scared of one Kitsune, they had seen similar tricks before. 2 charged at Enkidu while 4 attacked the rest of the group and 2 stayed back to protect the wagon from Gilgamesh.
