Coranna flew low as they neared the town, hoping the gaurd hadn't been alerted about them. She wasn't to scared about them being prime targets in this town, since of it's rebel community. Landing, she glanced over her shoulder at Mia, "Do you have any rebel friends here that could give us some safe place to rest while we're here?"

Mia nodded,"I think I do actually lets see if they are in town." She elbowed Nya,"Hey they might have some fish for you to eat. There are some nice rivers aorund here they fish in. Maybe some mint tea too I know you like that."
Nya couldn't be mad forever and her irratability came from her tiredness mostly now and those two things sounded great as well as a bath. "Alright meow." She smiled. Mia seemed relieved by that.
Mia smiled as well feeling better that Nya said something and with a meow at the end of it! She knocked on a door to a house that looked empty. Mia waited and sighed. Then did her own knock. The door opened slowly.
"Oh my gosh Mia welcome back. And Nya! I haven't seen you since you were little." Nya seemed confused but the woman seemed nice,"Come on in and your friend here?"
"Her name is Coranna I have a lot to tell you guys."
The woman seemed accepting even of the tengu. "No problem I assume you need to stay over I have plenty of space for you all my son just went on a trip so I have his room and the guest room open as well." The woman let them get in an get comfortable. "Do you guys want something to eat and drink?" She looked at them all.
Nya piped up first. "Fish and tea please!"
Mia chuckled,"I can have the same so its no trouble for you."
"Have anything you want dear but alright and you Coranna dear?"

Coranna was a bit taken aback by the woman's kindness, she wasn't used to it at all, "Oh, um, anything will do." She muttered out quickly while following Nya and Mia. She didn't like this place, but it was only because she didn't know it and felt awkward. Her feathers fluffed a bit, showing her discomfort, and she quickly tried to smooth them down.

The woman smiled and came back to the table one the fish and tea was done. "So Mia whats been going on for you to come so suddenly and with Nya?"
Mia rubbed her temples but ate some of the fish and drank some tea before answering. "They caught some of our friends... well I tried to bail them out and got caught. Then Nya tried to help me as I was getting out. I got a little hurt but Nya got hurt as well. So we are pretty wanted right now I don't know if they will come here to check for us but it wouldn't suprise me either way."
Mia told the rest of what happened when it came to the trying to get here and the strange hunter. By the time they were done talking Nya was pouring more tea and grabbing the last of the fish that they had on the tray.
The woman sat there a moment thinking. "Then maybe its time you go to the headquarters they are planning on making thier moves soon you would be taken care of there as well as a good addition to their ranks."
Mia shifted her eyes over to Nya for a moment in a questioning jester.
She caught the drift quickly. "You can stay here as long as you like."
Mia knew she meant Nya could stay here if Mia decided to go. "What about you Coranna? Do you want to go to the headquarters. I actually thing their are some tengu there. So you won't stand out as much there either."
"Do you guys need medical help right now. Those wounds could get infected."
Mia gave a short nod. "That would be nice."

Coranna tried to stay quiet for most of the conversation, though she broke the vow as the mention of 'headquarters' came up. "Headquarters?" She chirped in a questioning tone. She was both excited to see other Tengu and whatever this place may be.

Mia nodded,"More into the mountians its easier to hide such a place. Its above ground and under ground as well. Old mines but we made them safer and they hold a lot of wanted rebels that can't safetly show thier faces elsewhere. We have some tengu that live on the outside mostly as scouts for people who try to find the place. Do you want come with?"

A smile spread across Coranna's face as she replied, "Of course. It'd be nice to meet some other rebels."

Mia smiled,"In the morning then I think a nice rest will do us some good and a bath! Thats the first thing I'm doing in the morning." She yawned.
Nya was already asleep but the healer still ahd to move her around to check ehr leg which woke her up quickly. "Ow! Hey meow. That hurts..."
"I have to clean the wound it has some infection in it and strain on the tendons and a ripped part of muscle...."
Nya kept moving around to stop the pain. "Stop it....I'll clean it out okay?" She moved the healers hand away using her water magic to clean it out. "Thee now just wrap it. CAREFULLY..." She yelped as the healer put the bandages on pretty tight.
Mai was more quiet when they took out the infection that they found in her shoulder. She just made faces and sucked in a pained breath sometimes.
The healer once done with them let the other two sleep. "Any wounds on you?" He asked Coranna.

"Do you know how to mend wings?" She asked as she stretched out one of her wings. A large slashed was could barely be seen past the ruffled mass of feathers. "I can still fly with it, it's just not as easy or fast."

"Wings its always the wings..." The healer muttered as she inspected it putting some salve on it. Then handing her a drink. "Thats for your throat it seems like someone strangled you with something as well." She touched the tender parts of it making sure there was no further damage. "It should be okay with time. Your windpipes don't seem to be damaged." The healer sighed,"Not as bad as some people who get here. You can sleep now if you like."

"Oh, thank you." Coranna muttered with surprise as she was handed the drink. She didn't think her throat was that big of a deal, and it was nice that the healer had noticed it and given her some medicine. With a grateful bow, she stood and found a comfortable place on the ground where she finished her drink and fell asleep quickly.

Mia woke up earlier then most of them but Nya who was already up but might as well be a zombie for another hour because she just went through the motions of morning time. Mia made some breakfast of bread, milk, and cheese. Munching on it quietly. She didn't think Coranna was hiding much but it wasn't just a trip up to some place that wasn't important sercurity wise.
They were being hunted but the hunter was after Coranna she needed to know why before she could allow Coranna to the rebels main hideout. Mia planned on questioning Coranna when she woke up.

The ruffling of feathers announced Coranna walking up and stretching. It had to be the most relaxing sleep she'd had in a long time, because she didn't have to worry so much about fearing for her life. Still in a daze, she dragged herself over to Mia and Nya and plopped herself down near the two. "Morning," she yawned, "So we going to that rebel place today?"

Mia didn't want to be rude but she had to say it,"Possibly... its up to you though. I have some question shtta you hadn't quite answered. I know Tengu can sometimes be hunted but they are not hunted if they can get along with humans. You seem capable of doing that so what did you do?" She left it at that she would watch to see if Coranna tried to lie. Mia had planned for Coranna to lie as well.
If Corannba had any milk she would find it was oddly bitter but by that time it would be too late and Coranna would be too looped out of her mind to lie. It was a far bet though because most of the time people didn't make too much sense on such a drug. Mia just hoped it didn't go that far. Coranna might not forgive for it.
