Introduction Because I love the sound of my own voice Well, here's a journal showing off all of my fabulous buffaloes. I've made a journal before, but I ended up never RPing that pet.. So here's hoping this journal is different. I do want to roleplay these buffaloes, so please drop me a PM if you're interested! Just know that I'm pretty inexperienced. Also, I don't see any reason why you'd want to post in my journal, so I'd prefer if you didn't. I guess that's all there is to say. Do read on.

Clover Can't we all just get along? GeneralName: Clover Meaning: Should be obvious. The name was chosen with a four-leaf clover in mind, since I won her through sheer luck in a dice-rolling contest. Gender: Female Stage: Adult Herd: Izli Rank: Member Gen: First PersonalityGentle and patient, Clover is a very motherly buffalo. She is always willing to help a fellow buffalo out or just lend a sympathetic ear. Optimistic and idealistic, Clover is usually upbeat, cheerful, and looks on the bright side of life. However, she hates conflict of any kind and just wants everyone to be happy. A real challenge, right? Clover can be naive and, seeing as she aims to please, is easily taken advantage of. It doesn't take much to hurt or upset her, either. Still, Clover is just a timid buffalo who wants more than anything for everyone to be happy and without problems, even at the expense of her own happiness. HistoryClover, born and raised in the Izli herd, was one of the first buffaloes RollingThunder and TroubledSkies met. She extended a warm welcome to them and helped them get settled in the herd. RelationshipsFamily:Mate: Offspring: Allies:TroubledSkies - The two are very close friends, and Clover is always willing to listen to his troubles. He usually goes to her when he needs a shoulder to cry on, so to speak. Huritt - Another friend of Clover's, the two have known each other since calfhood. Huritt likes to flirt with her, which never fails to get her flustered. Enemies:Other:RollingThunder - The relationship between the two is strained. Clover considers him a friend and tries to talk to him, but it's obvious he doesn't like her.

RollingThunder RollingThunder, hear my cry! GeneralName: RollingThunder Meaning: Gray like the storm clouds his parents loved. Nicknames: Thunder, Stormy Gender: Male Stage: Adult Herd: Izli Rank: Member Gen: First Paints + ScarsRollingThunder is proud of his light blue paints, courtesy of the flatfeets. He was painted when he was a young adult, before he entered the Izli herd. He dislikes the prominent scar on his snout, though. Don't ask unless you want a glare in return. PersonalitySome would say RollingThunder is boring. Not that he cares. RollingThunder is really just calm and quiet, if not sometimes condescending. He isn't the type to go adventuring just for fun and doesn't like sparring like most bulls. Now, don't let that fool you. He will fight back, and if something needs to get done, RollingThunder will get down to business. But for the most part, RollingThunder believes if it doesn't need fixing, why bother? RollingThunder is also notorious for being gruff with others. He will tolerate you at best. At worst, he'll ignore you or tell you to get lost. He's easily annoyed and very straightforward with what he says. Of course, he wasn't always this way. As evidenced by his paints, RollingThunder used to be much more adventurous and, well, pleasant to be around. With the birth of his brother and trouble in his old herd, RollingThunder had to grow up fast, something he is bitter about and takes out on his brother. HistoryOnce a member of another herd, RollingThunder was a lively young bull and the pride of his parents. He was a happy calf and wanted to live in his home herd forever with his beloved parents. But TroubledSkies came along and utterly ruined it. Whoops! Sometime in RollingThunder's adolescence, his mother became pregnant with TroubledSkies. At first, RollingThunder was thrilled that he'd have a little brother he'd have adventures with, but his mother ended up dying when she gave birth to TroubledSkies. RollingThunder was devastated and instantly hated his little brother. His father was obviously grief-stricken, but loved TroubledSkies all the same, which infuriated RollingThunder. He soon felt neglected at how much attention their father was giving to TroubledSkies. He spent much of his time raising TroubledSkies and showering him with love and attention. Then, one fine day, their father died protecting TroubledSkies during one of the flatfeet hunts. RollingThunder witnessed this and, well, I'm sure you can guess how well he took that.RollingThunder hated TroubledSkies more than ever and wanted to be rid of him once and for all, so he planned to leave his home herd. TroubledSkies caught wind of this and begged for his brother's forgiveness. RollingThunder was enraged, but realized that their father had died protecting him and worked so hard raising him.. He obviously cared a lot for TroubledSkies. So the two brothers left their herd to start anew. RollingThunder adapted quickly to the Izli herd and is proud to be a part of it. He is still bitter towards his brother, but hasn't told him that their mother died giving birth to him, as his father requested so many years ago. RelationshipsFamily:Parents - Deceased Brother - TroubledSkies - Their relationship is pretty bad. RollingThunder doesn't quite hate his brother as he used to, but is often annoyed by him and usually ignores him. Mate: Offspring: Allies:Enemies:Clover - RollingThunder is absolutely irritated with Clover. He dislikes how she tries to stick her nose in his business and always tells him to mend his relationship with his brother. What does she know? Other:Huritt - TroubledSkies' partner-in-crime, RollingThunder only just barely tolerates him. Though Huritt often annoys RollingThunder, he's willing to talk to him when needed.

GeneralName: TroubledSkies Meaning: The sky looked angry, with clouds so dark Nicknames: Trouble, Skies, Sky Gender: Male Stage: Adult Herd: Izli Rank: Member Gen: First PersonalityTroubledSkies considers himself a big bull. He's tough-talking, rowdy, and pretty much thinks himself all that. In reality, his brother RollingThunder puts it best: TroubledSkies is a coward. TroubledSkies never actually spars with other bulls, only provoking his brother into fights that he know he'll win so he'll look strong. He brags about so many great things he's done, when he has nothing to show for it. TroubledSkies is insecure and only wants to be accepted by his brother and other buffaloes. Still, he'd never admit it, and puts on a facade of being tough. He can be somewhat awkward or cowardly at times, and is always worried about others judging him. He just wants to do something great to prove himself to the others and earn the respect he thinks he deserves. HistorySince he was born, TroubledSkies has been trouble. His mother died giving birth to him, though TroubledSkies doesn't know this as his father nor brother have ever told him. Since then, his brother had hated him, but TroubledSkies always tried to please him and get on his good side. A little bit older, during one of the flatfeet hunts, their father was killed protecting him. Because of that incident, TroubledSkies has been terrified of the flatfeet. After the death of his father, RollingThunder planned to leave their home herd. TroubledSkies felt terrible and begged for his brother not to leave him. Instead, RollingThunder ended up allowing TroubledSkies to tag along. The two soon found the Izli herd. TroubledSkies was left to his own devices by his brother who quickly assimilated to the new herd. TroubledSkies felt like he'd never cope, but soon met Clover and Huritt, who became good friends of his and helped him fit in. RelationshipsFamily:Parents - Deceased Brother - RollingThunder - The two don't get along, but that's mostly because RollingThunder is always pushing him away. Mate: Offspring: Allies:Clover - Always willing to lend an ear, TroubledSkies is very grateful for Clover's companionship. She's the one he goes to when he's feeling down or needs advice. Huritt - The buffalo equivalent of a BFF. TroubledSkies and Huritt are inseparable and always looking out for each other. Enemies:

Gender: Male Stage: Adult Herd: Izli Rank: Member Gen: First PaintsHuritt has a few light green paints around his eye and on his tail, which he earned by boldly approaching some flatfeets on a dare. PersonalityHuritt is playful, flirtatious, and an all-around nice bull. He's popular and well-liked, always seemingly in a good mood. Huritt believes in always trying to help his fellow buffalo. Oh course, that doesn't mean he can't be mischievous. Huritt likes to tease and have fun, though he knows his limits and, having a good sense of right and wrong, would never intentionally hurt anyone. However, Huritt is also quite vain. He never spars and hates getting too dirty. He takes great pride in his paints and looks. Huritt has never been known to get angry. No matter how much one tires to rile him up, he keeps a cool head. He can be serious when needed, though those moments are rare. HistoryHuritt, also born and raised in the Izli herd, welcomed RollingThunder and TroubledSkies to the Izli herd, eventually becoming TroubledSkies' best friend.
