These are some of the things I have done in Photoshop, I just thought I would share them with you. Also, the are posted in chronological order (of assignment) so you can better see my progression of skill. Exercise 1      Exercise 3  Project 1  Exercise 4  Project 2 This project was to make Icons that expressed 1 word. My idea was to make two different comic like stories by only using stick people.   That is all I have done for now, tell me what you think and whether you want to see more or not. Oh and Project 2 I turned in today actually, and I am doing all of this to kill time before my next class.... Illustration burning_eyes

Rage one is my favourite xD And the girl with the random star wars machine thing is pretty funny too. And it looks like it actually fits o_o (And I'm pretty sure you just twitched when I said random star wars machine thing)
The Mona Lisa one is amazingly done too. I thought it was the Mona Lisa redone exactly until I saw the Light Saber (< I knew that one =P) And then I had to scroll back up xD You don't notive the change between images at all.
Some of them you do, like the panther, and the Nazi one, but that's just because one image is more blurry than the other =/
Oh, and the cat made me go "Awwwww" It's adorable, I love how you did the shading, how it's solid chunks of colour but it still looks smooth.

Rage was your favorite? like the whole comic or just that one image?
Yeah, it is called an AT-AT. Yeah, it is funny how it looks in place, originally she was petting a horse.
Yeah, if you look at the original Mona Lisa you will notice how much of her hair and body I had to trim off, she is huge O_O
Yeah, the Nazi one disappointed me... 1 because it was my first actual project and not an exercise and It didn't turn out how I wanted it to.... the resolution for the ark was too good, the resolution for the background was horrible, and the resolution for the Nazis was pretty good.... Maybe I should have blurred the Ark some and the Nazis less.....
Yesh, I luff my kitty XD that is my favorite.

I love the entire image, it makes me laugh and it's pure awesome. It's just that the rage is my favourite out of all of them. :] Either that or Disposal xD

Yeah, that was my original concept, but because I couldn't think up 10 more Emo Icons I went with making another comic strip and thus the bank robbery was born.... I think the bank robbery icons look better, but the Emo one has a better idea and layout

Here is what I am working on right now, the green background will be cut out for final presentation, and I am planning on adding color to the boxes... and possibly a lens flare in the center... although I am not sure...

Trippy eek I like how you made it so that they aren't just straight lines coming from the centre, a lot of people do that it's kind of getting overused. I want to see the finished product! =D And what colours are you going to be putting in the boxes?

And this is (hopefully) the final. The color came out horribly when I uploaded it to Photobucket, which makes no sense at all. Um, Same deal with the last one, the white border will be cut away when I mount it. Um, the color scheme and background design are based off of the Eagle Nebula and specifically the Pillars of Creation. Yeah... And once again I apologize for the color, it is horrible crying

I have no clue what the Eagle Nebula or Pillars of Creation are, but they look pretty awesome. And your art is defiantly an abstract rendition of it (them, that?). The colour looks bad? I don't think so. Now, if you had used an ochre-like yellow, yes that would be bad. The yellow you used? Not bad. And you used really rich colours of brown too :] Then again, I don't know what the non-photobucket version looks like, so the colours may be better there. I dunno. But they look just as fine here, so stop apologizing xP The only thing I can really say that I think could maybe be improved is the stars, they could maybe use a bit of shine. Or atleast some of them.

yeah, I had never done stars before... well not like beyond a dot. I tried making them shine, but when it didn't turn out perfect it didn't really matter cause I am keeping this abstract. And the Eagle Nebula is the first pic I posted. It is a picture taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, and I think it is pretty cool XD

lol, well if you are using photoshop, what i did was put a white dot, then i used the smudge tool to make it look like a cross. then put another dot beneath it (this one purple) and then smudged it out to make it look like an X

This is what I am working on now... I sorta need input, although by the time you see this it may be too late :/ but, is it Abstract enough? .... that is a hard question to answer I think.... I am worried it is not finished, but I am not sure what else I should do, cause I am also scared that if I keep on adding it will become cluttered.
