Okay, well I think this topic is legit. I mean it may not seem to be, but I'll make it!
I want to know what people think of in the ideas of those skyscrapers and city buildings? I mean, why do people move there? Why would you like them? I though of Human Power! and I thought of human made buildings. Tell me why we benfit to have cities and skyscrapers and growing cities and what there can be wrong about it. I'm also curious to see why people would prefer we keep building uber tall buidings, or have more country side! GO! x3

Well, the original intention is shelter... and then it just kinda got out of hand. gonk As for the urban sprawl and development of suburban areas, that's more out of convenience and a reflection of humans as social animals.
And I don't mind urban areas or the countryside. I just hate suburban areas.

People think that we're running out of real estate. So what if, instead of growing outwards, we build it upwards? That's the idea behind skyscrapers. Real estate to the atmosphere is essentially limitless (the atmosphere extends to, what, 114 km above sea level? That's like 50 miles or so). The only problem is gravity. If these tall buildings don't have a firm foundation, they'll crash right down, and kill everyone inside. Or if a plane flies into it, it'll fall. Most of the time. wink
