With a sigh Sirreli stood before the guests.

"Good evening. May I take your orders?Madam Sophie only serves the finest cuisine in the land." He Said with a humble tone.

As rehearsed, a large gong was struck three times. Once to let people know something was about to happen. Twice to make sure that those who didn’t originally notice the deep chime were able to hear it. And a third time to finally signal the grand entrance. Two doormen pulled open the heavy doors and Sophie stepped out from behind the large burgundy curtains draped behind the doorway.

Her black dress poofed out to be almost twice as wide as her shoulders. The fabric hung heavy off of her frame. Her make-up was dark with smoky-gray eyes and thick crimson lips. She slowly descended the wide, marble staircase, stopping four steps up from the base.

She finally cracks a small smile and proclaims

Welcome, honored guests. I hope you have been enjoying your meals. But I know you came here for something more. The festivities are now ready to begin. Bring out the entertainment!

Sophie hid that she was still troubled by the letter the strange boy had given to her not an hour before, and something told her she should have paid more attention to her own reading.

the lights all around dim and the stage light comes up to reveal people around a table and another table stacked with presents of all shapes sizes and colors.

Begin act 1.

Sophie didn’t even bother watching the play. She already knew all the twists, turns, and how it concluded. She wasn’t interested. What she WAS interested in was new clients. That was the whole point of tonight’s gathering. She had planned to scan the crowd and see if she could pick out new potentials. However, her plan was ruined by her now desperate search for the mysterious author of the letter. Could he be here?

She cursed herself for not having a set guest list. A lot of those in attendance seemed unfamiliar to her. Besides, if the sender was coming to the event, why hand the note to the child as a delivery boy?

Nothing seemed to be going right that evening.

the play goes on, and its full of plot twists and some over-acting but is for the most part entertaining. it follows the story of a someone being murdered during their birthday party. at this point in the play you find out that surprise surprise everyone there has a different motive. dun dun dun....

like this play is kinda confusing me miss russo. but thats ok i think i like it.

umm...waiter...could i...maybe...get some wine?

Sirreli nodded and began to make his way with towards the kitchen and when sure he was clear made a beeline for the gifts...

"Damn pompous jerks..." he muttered.

Sirreli let out a sigh and made a beeline for the kitchen. He already hated working this job and the night had hardly begun...

As sirelli reached for his drink tray he noticed there was a note addressed to him on it
PostPosted: Tue Mar 10, 2009 7:23 am

"they like leaving these about..." he mumbled as he pocketed the note and took the drinks over to their respective guests. Once finished with this task he moved off to a fairly separate spot and looked at this latest piece of the job.
