Gaia name: Panthergambit
Name: Cadman Gogthe
Age 17
Description: 6'0", trim and lean. shoulder length black hair. hazel eyes. wears loose fitting pants and a muscle shirt with snap button sleeves, usually darker colours.
Faction: Gamma
Bio: never knew my real parents. something about me caused me to be selected into the wandering guard. I was dropped from the wandering guard when I alone returned from the survival training, soaked in blood with no injuries and no sign of anyone else including the supervising guardsman. people had assumed the worst, that I killed the rest of the recruits while they slept or something, if only they knew the truth behind it. if only they knew that the group was attacked by a Yower in the middle of one of their lessons, and that the supervisor had tried to direct some them like an army against it, but they were ill-equipped. the supervisor was able to wound the Yower with his gun in a noble stand as the beast disemboweled him. if only the others knew what i had done next. i had hide when the creature first arrived staying perfectly still, just as we were shown to do. after seeing the guard being killed, i leaped from my hiding spot and plunged my hunting knife into wound the guard made in the beast. i had managed to kill the wounded monster. when i looked around i saw that all but two of the others had been slaughtered. i searched for the others and found only scared footprints leading away from the city. i decided to wait until morning and return to the city for help. that night as i dined on Yower, i felt a surge of adrenaline almost as if the beast was now part of me. the next day was when i returned to the city a bloody mess. it was evening by the time i got there, upon seeing me they panicked and didnt know what to do. i told them my story but they didn't believe me, they wanted to see it for themselves. the problem there was that, that night it started to rain. by the time they got to the spot assigned to our group there was nothing left. so they couldn't prove anything either way, so they couldn't rightfully punish me to the extent they wanted to. that's when they decided to discharge me from the guard. i was to return to my guardians and await my reassignment. that would have been fine except, that the supervising guard was my assigned guardian. i told them this, and they sent me back to the Hospice. After a year there, they assigned me to a simple couple in the Gamma District. i then made a living working at a Dining Hall and at night i continued to train myself like my first guardian showed me. five years later i was to be married to a girl i fell in love who worked at a hospice. that was until the issue of the mystery of my past was brought up. her parents were amongst those who thought me a fiend. they wanted nothing to do with me and although i thought she was different as soon as she realized that i was the boy of mystery, the one former guard, she canceled the engagement. i then decided to live on my own, realizing that i can never outrun my past no matter how fast i am, and I'm pretty damn fast. i made my residence on the roof top of a former factory next to the dining hall. i secured and anchored a canopy up there to keep the water out in times of rain, it still leaks every now and then but i put up with the rain for it makes me stronger for its as if the world itself was crying in my place.
Skills: Running, Melee, Stealthy
Personality: Genuinely nice guy, kind of shy, hopeless romantic at the core. fierce temper if provoked (which is hard to do unless helpless people are being threatened) has fits of semi depression if things from my past hinder me, never sheds tears, acts humble and avoids mentioning anything about the past
Weapons: a sleeve sheath with 4 throwing daggers, a long curved hunting knife on the hip, and b*****d sword(slightly curved) strapped to the back (only wear when i have the intention of killing something or traveling in the wood)
Other: likes to take minor excursions into the wood to take vengeance upon the predators that took my life, for its almost as if i had died in the woods that fateful day.

Gaia name: Leopardrogue
Name: Artie (Artimus) Debower
Age: 9
Description: 4’3” Slender, almost straggly body. Very pale skin, mostly due to being inside the factories all day. Brown eyes and hair, but the hair is dyed purple. Tight clothes are worn to prevent getting caught in the gears of the machines of the Gamma Sector. Short sleeves are also usually worn, but a thick sweatshirt – one of the remaining heirlooms from the biological father – is worn as a jacket. For easier accessibility when climbing among the equipment and factories, Artie tends to go barefoot when inside and only puts shoes on reluctantly when heading outdoors. Artie also sports a pair of goggles with magnifying lenses, allowing Artie’s already superior sight to be heightened even further – genuinely worn when working with small mechanics such as a watch.
Faction: Gamma
Bio: Artie has always been an outsider to society, preferring machinery over human contact. Artie has better-than-average sight and unique social tendencies due to awkward looks and inferior social interaction. Artie has always been intrigued with the massive amounts of machinery that makes up Last City, and feels more comfortable around these metal monoliths than around humans. This doesn’t mean Artie is anti-social. In fact, Artie tends to be eccentric and overly excited when around humans. Due to this tendency to act out, it was hard to determine whether the Delta or Gamma sector was more appropriate. Due to Artie’s heightened intellect and fascination with technology, it was thought best to place in the Gamma sector, with hopes that perhaps some of the old technology could be unlocked through Artie’s tinkering. Artie has already successfully created a small handful of inventions to help out the Wandering Guard. Artie’s heightened sight works best when working with tiny mechanics and seeing such things as lost springs that no one else would notice missing. As of right now, Artie hasn’t even begun to think about the fact that marrying age is only four years away – unless it became possible to build a spouse. The weakened social skills are partially due to the fact that the couple Artie was placed with had no clue how to handle the toddler – especially since Artie managed to wander off frequently. The couple finally gave up on attempting to actually rear the child and became more of Artie’s “handlers” – simply there to make sure the child was healthy, safe, mostly happy, and willing to work on the reverse engineering that may eventually help restore humanity on Terra. Artie was therefore left alone to do whatever the child wished, becoming more free-spirited and feral with each passing year.
Skills: Scrounger, Brainy, & Spotter
Personality: Artie displays the typical traits of a nine-year-old. Traits lost years ago when the max age dropped to 25. When around people, Artie becomes a playful rascal constantly attempting to show off. When around those younger, Artie tends to make faces and performs simple acrobatic tricks such as cartwheels and handstands in an attempt to make the children laugh and remember how young they really are. When around those older, Artie tends to mock those that are unliked, and cling to those that are – following them around like a lost puppy. Artie, once one gets past the idiosyncrasies, is a very loveable person who is slow to anger, but quick to fear. The child is also easily confused by such social things as politics, war, and economy, only understanding such simple, animalistic interactions such as love, hate, fear, and joy. The only complex things Artie does seem to understand are mechanics. Artie is also incredibly curious and would probably remind most people of a monkey, if humans remembered what monkeys were.
Weapons: Being more of a “lover not a fighter,” Artie keeps nothing more than a simple Multi-tool containing the following attachments – needlenose pliers, scissors/wire cutters, fine-edge and serrated-edge knives (about equal in length to Artie’s finger), a coarse-tooth saw about the same length as the knives, a nail file, a flathead screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver, and a can/bottle opener. Being as attached to objects as Artie is, the Multi-tool was named Jess and is referred to as Artie’s “best friend.”
Other: Artie is entirely androgynous – due to poor social integration – and most have forgotten what sex the child really is. Others view Artie as dysfunctionally immature, but consider it a “side effect” of heightened intellect and spending days unsupervised and untrained. Due to how valuable Artie’s cooperation is when it comes to reviving the lost technology, most leave the child be. Artie is more-or-less the Terra version of MacGuiver, being able to build, fix, or replace just about anything with anything. When Artie does leave the factories during the day, it is usually to troll the markets for different trinkets that could have some sort of potential for future use.

I'd like to take this time to explain how I will be using font to designate my RPing...
When I'm writing OOC, such as currently, I will do so in italics.
When I am describing something I am doing, or what I look like, I will do so in bold, but still in 1st person so I don't have to use feminine or masculine pronouns. Example: I fling myself off of the giant gears and tuck into a forward roll, landing just feet from my visitor. I probably will NOT be posting images of my character after each post since my character was provided above.
When my character is speaking I will write in normal font. Artie does jump in and out of third-person speech, as well as use less-than-perfect grammer. Be warned. I will write in bold to add in what playwrites call "wrylies".
Example: Hey! You! Overthere! waves wildly with both arms You come to visit Artie?
Finally, we should now have noticed that if an admin is editing the post, the edit would show up in green font. Therefore, when I edit my own posts, for whatever reason, I will do so in Indigo font. I will most likely add "Edit:" as well, but not always, depending on the context.
Example: Edit: I don't have an edit currently, but this is what it would look like if I did...
I hope this will make it easier for everyone to understand my future posts.
