It is years in the future and vampires have come out of hiding. People try to pin every crime on the vampires and this has given them a want for revenge. They capture other creatures to keep drink from and those captured are never let go. Some vampires find romance with their captives, others take out their anger at the other other creatures on their captives. People do not understand how dangerous it is to go out at night so they take stupid risks, using hidden alleys as short cuts and going to deserted places. The vampires count on this and wait in these places for an unknowing victim to come along.

Catherine wandered down the road to the small park near her estate. She was in her wheel chair, she had gotten an electric one so that she didn't have to get someone to push her around. She went through the gate and into the park. She wheeled herself over to the small fountain in the centre of the park. There was no one else around which is why she came here. When people were around they always stared at her, she was known as that weird girl who only knows as much as a child. It upset her so she only went out at night now. She eased herself out of her wheel chair and onto the grass. It was cold and she lay back, enjoying the feeling of the soft grass against her skin.

Noah sat in his giant manor and twiddled his thumbs thinking intensly. He stood up and wandered onto his balcony, the moonlight shining off his white skin. He needed to feed tonight, but he didn't like taking human lives that much, but what had to be done as a vampire.
"Sometimes I wish I was never changed" He sighed
Noah than jumped over the edge of the balcony and flew through the streets looking for someone to feed on, but he found a scent that intrigued him. He followed the smell all the way to a rather large estate, but nowhere near the size of his own. As he jumped onto the surrounding wall, Noah located the loacation that the scent was coming from. The fountain....

Catherine lay there in the grass for a while then sat up. She looked around. making sure that she was still the only one there. Once she had checked this she lay back down. She couldn't help but feel like there was something or someone coming. ((I'm going away for the next two days so i won't be online. If you do post I'll reply when I get back))

Noah ran halfway there at his vampire pace, and then he slowed down to a human pace, but stayed out of the lights as he aproached the fountain and the girl laying on the grass by it. A devilish smile curled upon his lips as he saw her and he felt the thirst in him highten....
He continued walking towards her until he was visible to her and then smiled a sweet and innocent smirk at her,
"Good day madam, my name is Noah" He said calmly, "How are you this fine evening"

Catherine heard someone approaching and saw a man standing near her. She sat up slowly and smiled, he seemed friendly. "Good day to you too Noah, I am Catherine..." She said softly. "I am well...and how are you?" She said as she lifted herself back into her wheel chair. She sat there silently, waiting for his reply. She wondered why he was out here so late. She decided to ask him, "If I may ask, Noah, why are you out here so late in the evening?" ((I'm back early. My grampa broke his leg so my holiday was cancelled.))

"I grew tired of staying in my house" Noah replied and then he pointed to the hill, where his giant mansion stood. He then turned back at Catherine and smiled,
:I decided to go for a stroll and then I saw you"

"Oh..." She said as she looked up at the mansion, she had always found it a bit scary. She turned her wheel chair a bit to face Noah and smiled at him. "Well, would you like to go for a stroll around the park with me? Seeing as I have cut your stroll short..." She asked kindly.

With a sniff at the breeze, Letui located a delectable smelling human nearby. She wasn't actually thirsty, but the smell was too good to pass by. Flowing in her seamless run to the spot, she stopped yards away from the girl. But a vampire stood by her....a minor difficulty. She wanted the girl's blood, and so she would get it. It was overwhelming at this distance...
Slowly, her fangs slid out, pinching her lip. She gave a cursory nod to the vampire to recognize him, but already her senses were honing for the hunt.
