Silence befell the landscape. No birds chirped, nor any soul moved about. The creek nearby beckoned a deathly sound--no water broke the rocks nor rushed the rapids.
A lone person, dressed in armour that prodded out from beneath a thick leather coat, walked down an ill-beaten path heading along southward. His, for it was a rather tall masculine frame, eyes moved around himself, struggling to sense the uncommon silence of the forest.
