I adore him because of his style. It has an old, sort of Shakespearian taste to it, a pattern of words that makes the reader really have to think about what he's written. He's a poetic genius and I'm glad to have him as a fan of some of my own work smile

Here's a short story my professor read to my class at the beginning of this term:

One day while walking through the wilderness a man stumbled upon a vicious tiger. He ran but soon came to the edge of a high cliff. Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and dangled over the fatal precipice. As he hung there, two mice appeared from a hole in the cliff and began gnawining on the vine. Suddenly, he noticed on the vine a plump wild strawberry. He plucked it and popped it in his mouth. It was incredibly delicious! (author unknown)

Here's a poem a photographer wrote in tribute to a beautiful picture:

I miss you terribly
My heart breaks a little more every time you leave
And only your touch can make it complete
I wish you were in my arms right now to cure this loneliness
Just take me away, into a bliss
Dreaming of your hand on my face
Your arms wrapped around my waist
Lingering and waiting for your kiss
Your lips and tongue dancing across mine
Feel the passion getting stronger
Please don’t leave, just stay a little longer
