A very wonderful series of games for the DS. I think Advance Wars is addictive, fun and requires brains to play which makes it all the more appealing to me. Um, I'm not sure about the new one but the old ones are definitely good and the characters are fun too.
What are your opinions on it?

I picked up the first DS one (duel strike) at a bargain price from Tesco's before going on a trip to France. I loved it. But the new one, I'm not so keen on, I don't like the new style. It doesn't really work for it in my opinion. I still play Duel strike every now and again. 3nodding

I've never played the Advance Wars games,but my brother is addicted to 'em,so they must be good.
They're the only games(apart from Pokémon Diamond)that he has on the DS and GBA. 3nodding

They are good. It took me forever to beat the first one, and I've played bits of the sequels. But some original games are just irreplacable.

I should try and get hold of the older GBA ones, however it could be tricky. They may be released on the virtual console thingie for the DSi...
Not that I have a DSi...
To be honest, i still have the original DS, not even a Lite XD

Yeah, see? Matti has the right idea! The style doesn't really fit it, does it? And wow, really? You still only have the original DS? Poor Matti! D: *hugs* That must suck.
Zap, I completely agree with you too! I have the same opinion about Suikoden II. Some games just stick with you no matter their age.
So who did you play as when you played Advance Wars? I was always an Eagle user because I love using the planes. At times I'd switch to Andy or Sami though.
