NOw, this is a topic I have noticed not many people talk about. In ancient greco roman days (I say that to combine both cultures since they were kind of the same in history's view) They used drugs with magic.

Or the indians with their peyote! The funny thing is, it's legal for indians to smoke peyote for spiritual reasons. People respect that. Yet if I were to say when I smoke a joint it's a spiritual meditation, the general public wouldn't agree.

I've noticed that people are hesitant to talk about drugs and magic. But, some of the same people that say weed should be illegal, then take ten prescription pills they wish they could quit. Or they just give it all up and their entire world becomes PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!

So I guess I have a hard time understanging why people don't think about drugs and magic. so please, if you're a naysayer to the activity. Be nice. I'm trying to cover a topic here most people won't. This is still valid information that should be made known so people don't get in over their heads.

One person in particular was a magic user under the influence of a particularly nasty drug. Heroin, Aleister Crowley was a heroin addict.

As far as meth and crack goes, I've had the 'wonderful' pleasure of living in places that are low income. Pretty much filled with druggies. I'd never do any of the three listed above. I'll tell you one thing though, any meth and crackie I see running around, it's like someone has killed their soul. It's an extremely sad site to see.

Now, alcohol and magic. Hehe, um, don't try to go astral drunk. Just, don't. It's not worth it. You'll get the spins from hell, all day next day. Alcohol is something that should be enjoyed occassionaly and not on a regular basis, if it's enjoyed at all, with magic users. It doesn't bring much to our sense to help. So, if you want to drink fine but you need moderation.

Now I would go on more about peyote and halluinogenics. Except I don't know that much about them. Or how each and every one applies to magic. I know this though, if you take magical mushrooms, the kind that make you trip out. It will make it so when you see spirits, you won't be sure if what youre seeing is real or not over time. So magic users, stay away from mushrooms. That was explained to me by an old voodoo priest who shall remain nameless for privacy sake.

Now, check this out. Read through the odyssey. Technically that qualifies as mythology to us. Of course, should be taken with a grain of salt. Anyways, that's my reference for greek people doing drugs with magic. That, and some past life memories of me living back in the day.

Now with Marijuana, that's an interesting one. It will either, make you stupid, make you brilliant, but whatever happens, you're going to think you're brilliant. With magic users and weed, it can be like a liqour which is bad news. Or it can be good news and help you relax into meditative states. It's like rolling the dice though. You don't know if it's going to aid your magic, or make you raid the fridge excitedly. So, as always, exercise moderation. Keep in mind using drugs,of any type with magic, doesnt work for everyone.

Now, on a more legal front. You have your herbs you can mix in teas and stuff. Guess what? By technical definition, you are using those plants for their chemicals. That makes them a drug. See, the definition of drug has been tainted. You say drug, everyone thinks of something illegal or something they use, or pills they have to take to stay sane, I mean a cold medicine is a drug! but take it properly and it helps your cold.

With tobacco, well you can do things with tobacco. If you have enough know how, you can enchant people's ciggarettes, pipe tobacco, cigars, whatever.

Look at damiana, a magical herb that can be used in tea. From personal experience if you smoke it, it makes you feel like you are temporarily in a dream state. then it's like walking around in meditation and appreciation with everything. But you would have to smoke so much of it for it to be of any use, I would reccomend mixxing it in the tea.

If anyone is uncomfortable with the topic of drugs, I apologize if i made you uncomfortable. But, with pressure to try some of these things as people are growing up. Combine that with magic users starting to use younger and younger.

There are very definite risks with drugs and magic. It would be understandable if you decided to just go clean turkey. I just wanted the information available should it be needed. Plus, I have no fear of what topics I make. I just try my best to have an intelligent thought process behind them.
