One of the best personas my opinion is yomu shimoka (I know I miss spelled it.) It has no weakness and can learn most moves.
Mine knows Agi, Bufu, Garu, Gale slash, Bash, Mudo, and two other skills i forgot.
No weakness and can hit all most any weakness it sounds good to me.

Impressive, although I never saw the point (nor had the patience) in creating one ultimate Persona when one could carry twelve.
So I had: (either/or)
Agi-- Surt/Hell Biker
Bufu-- Alilat
Zio-- Odin/Lilith
Garu-- Nara
Hama-- Metatron/Helel
Mudo-- Thanatos
Almighty-- Messiah/Satan
Slash-- Siegfried
Strike-- Melchizidek/Thor
Pierce-- Cybele
Healing-- Asura
Status-- Arahabaki
It's always good to have a fallback Persona in a fight, but why not have the variety? Also, usually once the Persona gets to a high enough level, their weakness is covered by an Absorb or Null skill so why hassle with a low-level Persona with low-level attacks and stats?

Yes I do see your point but this is the kicker yomu shimoka (misspelled) is a lv9 persona so it can get you through most of the game. Its not the best as it learns only the basic forms of the skill as in just agi not agialo or Evan maagi. And I don’t think it learns zio or hama skills but for being a low class persona it can more than hold its own.
The ultimate persona is Orpheus Telos it can learn any thing including die for me and samara.

To rededzee - Trust you have to know scud personally to know why he does this stuff LOL, and I agree 100% with orpheus telos being the best.

in persona 3 i had an awesome Thanatos, it knew:
Brave Blade
Ghastly Wail
Evil Touch
Sexy Dance
Mahamoan
Die for ME!
and Megidola

I never saw the point in ghastly wail first you have to inflict them with a status effect then the move so its more work than it worth.
Now a person with regenerate 3 and invigorate 3 that makes a useful persona. Adding in growth is hard but makes it so much nicer.
As fore why I like my persona of chose I beat the game with it lv93 99 all stats and still no weak spots still all skills and I only needed 1 fighting persona 1healer (Dia skill and invigorate, regenerate.) and 1 last resort persona with mind charge and a Megi skill. Leavening me 9 personas I can use just for fusing.
Plus you don’t have to change personas so much…… once per turn can slow what you can do.
None of this is necessary once you get Orpheus Telos the hard part is deciding what to do with him? And what to give him…..

My favourite Persona so far is my Kohryu in P3P. It had:
Salvation
Mediarahan
Null Strike
Arrow Rain
Absorb Slash
Makarakarn
Sharp Student
Me Patra
It's just perfect for keeping you and your party alive as they beat up on long bosses, which is good because I often find myself having to be the healer. Kohryu plus a Cybele with Tetrakarn made Nyx a joke.
Of course, in P3P you can get skill cards so pretty much any Persona can be awesome. I did fuse him again in P3FES to fight Erebus though, and he was still the most useful Persona I could manage to fuse without a guide.
Also it sucks that Thanatos can't learn Die For Me! except for in the original version. :/ I like Thanatos' design best but Alice is just... better.
