Kamahu folded his arms over his chest as he looked up at the Wizard's Keep. He had his sorcerer friends with him, Zelemar Calame, and Reed Moon. All of them were in their early twenties, freshly out of college. Kamahu was a creature of magic known as a Dorf (sorry, I have a slight obsession with them >.<). They had been invited by their wizard friend, Zeddicus Zorander, to come to the Wizard's Keep to help protect the city surrounding it from the Rahl family that was rapidly taking over the lands. Panis Rahl was the head of the family (if you've ever read the Sword of Truth novels, that's where most of the settings are coming from), and the Rahl's and the Dorf's have had a long history of rivalry. Kamahu was the son of the head Dorf, his father having backed away from fighting at his old age, and sending his youthful son to go help. Kamahu, unlike most Dorf's, had blond hair down to his shoulders, and a scar on his forehead where a jewel-like birthmark would normally be. He had yellow eyes, tan skin, and was 7 feet in height. Zelemar was a prince of the elv'in royal family, and heir to the throne. On the land, he preferred not to be called by his formal titles, since the elv'in were still supposedly banished from walking the ground for another several generations. He had messy silver hair, and sharp blue eyes, and was about 6'10" in height. Reed, unlike the other two, was just a simple sorcerer. He had long, deep blue hair that he kept in a twisted braid that hung down his back. He had brown eyes and wore glasses, measuring about 6'1".
"Now how are we supposed to find Zeddicus in this mess?" Zelse asked, glancing around at the bustle of the city that was built at the base of the Keep. Zelemar was the only one who called Zedd by his full name.

((oi. Mind sending me the plot for this? and a few definitions of the characters? I never read that series, and, no offense but, I have no clue what a dorf is. All in all, I'm really lost right now. lol))

((lol))

The streets were crowded with various types of people going through the different stands of the nearby marketplace. Zedd walked calmly through the place, he himself examining the items that were for sale. He stopped by a breadmakers stand and bought himself a few loaves. Taking a bite out of one, he looked up at the keep and saw Zelemar at the window. He grinned widely with his mouth full of bread and waved at him, the bitten loaf still in his hand. The wind played around with his already messy, shoulder length brown hair as he ran over to the building. He ran up to the room the others were in and burst through the entrance. He swallowed the bite of bread he took and smiled. "It's nice to see you've all made it here in one piece," he said as he took his seat.

Zelse crossed his arms, "Would've gotten here faster if it weren't for those blasted dragons in the pass."

Kamahu chuckled, rolling his eyes, "No one got hurt, it just gave Zelse a scare."

Zelse shot Kamahu a look, then turned to Zedd, "Well, Zeddicus, how's life as a wizard treating you?" Zelse had met Zedd before they both split paths; Zelse as a Sorcerer, Zedd as a Wizard.

"Scared by dragons? Sounds just like you Zelemar" Zedd said with a laugh. Reclining in his chair, Zedd propped his feet up and took another bite of bread. "Being a wizard isn't so bad. You get lots of discounts on food!" he replied, grinning through the mouthful of bread. He pulled out the other loaves from his bag and offered the others some. "It's really good. New type of bread from the northern lands. Delicious." He then looked back to Zelse. "And how's life as a sorcerer?" Zedd asked.

((Zelse and Zedd usually call each other by their full names "Zelemar" and "Zeddicus"))

Zelse smiled, "It's an easy-out from life as a king!" he dreaded having to take over as ruler of the elv'in, and by elv'in law, if he became a sorceror, he wouldn't be allowed to take the throne.

"Let's get to business," Kamahu said, "Zedd, I believe there was a problem with those D'harans?

Zedd swallowed the piece of bread he had been chewing. "Ah yes. Panis Rahl has been giving the lands outside of D'Hara some trouble. It seems he's trying to expand his rule unto the world instead of just staying in his own kingdom," he responded.

"Sounds like a typical Rahl," Kamahu growled. He paced around the room, suddenly restless.

"Now, now, Kamahu," Zelse said, "We have more than enough power between the four of us to take out one, measly wizard." He smiled, never having thought too highly of wizards in general.

Zedd gave a rare bitter smile. "Yes, except he's been acquiring more Mord-Siths then ever. And he's gotten a bit stronger. We'll be dealing with a deadly force very shortly the way he's been going," he said in a quiet voice. "Have you ever been in a battle with a Mord-Sith before?"

"Not personally, no," Kamahu said, "If I ever were, I would know better than to use magic on the fiends. If you take them on with any regular weapin, they die like any mortal." Kamahu slightly sneered, the Gerudo were well informed on combating with the Mord Sith.
