First of all.. You are cute. So people at your school, if they don't think you are cute are just being stuck up asses.

Secondly, Why do you want to be friends with people who only care about what you look like? I don't want to be friends with someone who is shallow and self centered. If you have friends who care about you, and about what you do with your life rather than how much lipstick is too much lipstick. gonk

The real funny part is, I was in your same situation before. All of the "popular" kids at my high school... are still the popular kids today. They all live in the same county, have the same dead end jobs they had right after high school (I graduated in 2003) and they all have the same friends.

Dont be friends with someone just because they hang with a certain crowd. And who cares if you are an "outcast" in high school. Do you have fun with the people you are friends with? If so, Awesome! Count your blessings. Are you planning on going to college? If not, I think everyone should, If so... Awesome! People in college usually understand that the world does not revolve around someone because they are popular or beautiful... they understand that it is the people who are productive members of society that make the world go around.

If you start talking to older people and ask them about their friends, you are going to find that high school doesn't really hold much significance on their current or past social life (after high school). More of the fond memories come from college and after.

Bottomline. Don't try to be someone that you are not, it does not matter how popular or hot you are, the only thing that matters is what you do with your life, and how you treat the people who care for you.
