It is now, due to unfortunate circumstances, that I, Alena_Ryu, must step up, and assume command of the guild.
As such, I feel I must write rules that I am comfortable with enforcing. As such, here they are.
1. NO violating another Member with personal questions. Do this on your own time. We're here to RP!!!!!
2. Ni......as much as it may disturb some of you, I feel inclined to keep the original spirit of Breaking Tides alive, out of respect for Snowing Rainbows. So yes, we ARE unrated. Just don't do anything that'll get yourself, or your guildmembers, banned. If you want your characters to quote: "Go the extra mile", do so in a timelapse. We DON'T want to read every detail. Allright? But at the same time, babies make for great plot devices. So I'm not distinctly discouraging this.
3. If you have a problem with another member, tell a Mod. We promise to listen to both sides of the issue and administer fair judgement.
4. New Topics......well, I'll go on and create a new thread FOR you people to put in new topics, just try NOT to add too many RP threads. This is an RP GUILD. For a specific plot. Let's try not to get too many people off the main thread.
6. No Godmodding. Well.....ok, sometimes Godmodding DOES help RPs move along, but if the person you're RPing with asks for you to stop, you MUST change your post.
7. No auto-hit. Give the other person a chance to respond.
8. As for over-powering your characters.....I'm rather open-ended on this. Its a very simple formula. If they're overpowered, they CAN'T FIGHT. Gods and Goddesses DO make for good plot devices, just don't over use them.
7. You will NOT be banned for not posting. This is a rule I strongly dislike. People simply don't have 24/7 to RP. That said, please try to stay active. Its what killed BT last time. Our primary antagonists, in the middle of a big ol' war, just vanished. I haven't heard from them since.
8. I REFUSE to put a sentence minimum/maximum. It's a personal thing. I don't believe creativity should be forced. That said, NO ONE LINERS!!!! And by one-liners, I mean pointless posts that are incredibly hard to respond to. I'm ok with short posts, as long as there's a purpose behind them.
9. If you want to join, give me an RPing sample when you fill out the Join Request. Even if I know you personally, no matter how close friends we are, I MUST be fair to everyone. That means you must be LITERATE! It is by these RPing samples that I judge whether or not you can join. If there is no sample, then I will be forced to Decline your entry.
10. I reserve to edit and reform these rules at any time.
