Since Bee has said the primary focus needs to be the PW stuff, I'm making a separate thread to plan out OC involvement. I'll combine threads if needed and all. XD Because as of right now, I have more ocs than canons and crossover canons, and few of them are likely to get involved in this... so I'm thinking of giving an actual Ghost for Chris to draw her into the manor.

And as the Greyhawk saga has yet to be finished...this is kinda assuming the outcome is in the most positive sense of the world.

Scaled Diary 1
A daughter, a lovely girl. Tiamet will be pleased. It will just be dealing with the clan...

Scaled Diary 2
Disappeared, gone? NO! Mixed blood, it can't be! How could I have missed that. No longer pure...

Scaled Diary 3
I will have her. I will have her back. She is my daughter, she belongs to Tiamet.

Scrawled Note:
That cambion ruined everything...

Sayings:
"My daughter...have you seen my daughter?" (Friendly shots)
"Give her back..."
"Her heart was meant to be mine... " (As she dies)
"She will be mine!"

Drop: Torn portrait of Tobias and Chris
Drop: Key? o.o

Note if we're changing ghosts in the main manor this could be something... of course... I'm also just trying to do s**t here...

Donovan's Seelie Ex as a Ghost. ---> It'd be interesting to replace the one kuze chick with the hair, but I don't think she'd work that well for that... not to mention we want to keep the main storylines for the characters.

*further information currently unavailable*

Diaries: Needs a style...or a solid color, or a single image and color
Can have... up to 5, and should be of horrific things/negative leanings... see other diaries for information... like thoughts and stuff.
Suggestion: Wilted Rose Diary?
Inclusion suggestions: About drowning children, intense hatred of Donovan, regret for not finishing what she started?

OR

scrawled notes, scrap paper - could include one in the set of diaries.

Sayings?

History:

Etc etc.

Okay, I'm wanting to take advantage of certain emotions and highs I had today and write out this potential line to the storyline for the OCs... While it isn't set in stone, certain ghosts are potentially available for the OCs and considering the few OCs at the moment would would get drawn into the manor, I just want to write it all out.

I have two endings that I can think of for this as well, one with Chris as a ghost and Chris not as a ghost (both with some potential of returning.

Okay, since Donovan is away right now and has been for seven months...

~ Ghosts, two in particular will start convincing Chris that Donovan doesn't love her anymore. With the help of Ophelia who's just a b***h it'll work, and she'll fall prey to the manor. In effect it helps with the two splits, OBJ and then OVR because there's lost friends and stuff there.
And she hasn't bonded too deep with too many in the hotel yet.

Stuff like "You promised to never leave him, but you didn't hear any such promise from him."
"Cambions are flighty creatures, do you really think they'll be loyal with other better beauties out there?"

~ She'll slowly be entering the manor PRIOR to others entering the manor. She acts as a draw if someone like Donovan *cough cough* shows concern for this and wants to save her.

Storyline would be developed from here, this is my rough idea. She would be the guide for this storyline though as she'd be like Mio and you'd follow her around.

TWO ENDINGS...

Since OC storyline is replacing the Crimson Butterfly storyline, and there are two for a final boss, but there's a third. Chris gets engulfed by the manor after she disappears past this one door, and becomes a ghost. She then replaces the Kisabi from the CB part and becomes the final boss.

At the end of that fight, there comes a time where you got to run. Help for that would be Chris's voice telling you to "Run". Though she'd be the ghost following you, so it shows something in her remembers.

OTHER ENDING:

She doesn't become a ghost but slips into the deepest sleep like Mio did, with another boss ghost to face once she disappears behind a door.

Both endings lead to this possibility, though the ghost more so:

When/If Reika is finally defeated and sent to the other side, when all the ghosts are crossing over with her as the boat is cast...

Eh, practice psot this:

Hopefully someone will call out for her or something. XD

Walking, walking, joining the others towards the other side. But...she had memories, she could still sense him close. A promise, faintly there was a promise. She turned towards the shore, pausing as she walked on the water. No, she didn't want to go. She couldn't go. She promised. Her feet started to move, towards the shore. Running, but she wasn't making progress, she wasn't moving closer, she was still moving away. "No...no..."

Strings rose from the water, ethereal strings and latched to her arms, legs, around her neck and waist. One of them might've resembled a snake, it was hard to tell. She stopped running, wondering what these strings were. Then she started to get pulled under, not towards the shore, not away from, but under the water. "AHHHH!" Sharp cry of pain filled the air, her hand reaching towards the shore. Chris disappeared under the water, one wave, two, then it was quiet.

I don't think that draft for Chris' involvement completely fits the themes of Fatal Frame 3. The Manor of Sleep doesn't work off of detachment from the world, but attachment to the deceased (similar symptoms, perhaps, but different intentions). It would make more sense if there were someone Chris were mourning from the OBJ/OVR crowd... though I think it's a little strange to say any of them formally died (unless someone actually did; we just can't declare people dead outside of their continuity, can we?).

Can characters like Ophelia be drawn into the Manor of Sleep?

Ophelia? Yeah, any characters like that are open to entering into the Manor, they're all fair game.

Well, there's also Chris's mother who ends up in the manor...

It was just a stroke of a draft, if she's made to feel alone like she's the only one left...

Decimating her clan's out of the question. Well mostly.

We can kill off canons more than likely than anyone else, but I honestly can't think of any canons Chris was closed to except for April May. And she's shown up to the hotel.

This is why brainstorming happens. XD So we can talk s**t out like this whoot. XD

I originally had it so her mother was going to draw her into the manor for whatever reason...

Technically Kei is drawn into the manor with no real regret except for not being able to Help Mio, who is/would be the Chris equivalent. He was Yuu's research partner on the Manor itself.

Considering the "Sleeping Priestess" song in the manor, I was having a thought about a musical tie for the OC storyline.

Just thinking... mebbe too hard? owo

You're thinking too hard. Just work with the basic concepts and themes from the game.

We shouldn't kill canon characters unless they were, in canon, dead. There's a list of victims and convicts in the other thread, though I doubt most anyone here would have to deal with most of them... That's why including the Feys is imperative, as they have the greatest sphere of influence.

If Chris' mother is dead, that should work fine (especially if Chris was involved in her death; usually, victims of the Manor are survivors of traumatic events).

The difference with Kei's case is that Mio is already suffering from the Tattooed Curse because of Mayu's death/disappearance; it is Mio's regret that drives Kei to research Mayu's case, Mio's condition, and its connection to the Manor of Sleep. This combination is what draws him into the Manor.

Ahhh right right. xd

I am thinking too hard.

There's a few in canon that were already dead. Ahhh...well, yeah, most of the Fey family most have dealt with on some level, so it works there. I'll put up potential Iney Miney ghost stuff in the other planning thread as Iney might be able to get in considering...

Yes, Chris's mother is dead, and Chris was pretty much directly involved with her death. It was a plot point I was TRYING to work on that got fairly interrupted when the OBJ split happened, and Don, I, Sei and Legion haven't really been able to go back to to finish the damn thing... though I tried getting Don to go back and failed just a little there, so I am trying to tie the damn thing up in the manor.

With that connection, with Don vs Kei, Don should be able to get in 'cause of Chris with about the same reasoning behind it. I'd change a bit of the canon regarding Chris's backstory to make more research for it, stuff I didn't reveal yet is easy enough to change.

Yes Don is a target, so he has something to do. 8D

Hrm...mebbe...Chris ends up witnessing her mother die... though... in the Greyhawk thing...

That was set up that...if Sepherene died, she took down Chris with her. There was of course a a way to revive Chris.

I've prolly said that tho already... owo

But she did really love her mother...and probably doesn't understand why her own mother would try to kill her and the ones she loved...

Urgh...I dun wanna kill teh Vashra. .__.

Lets see. I mean she did really love her mother... "Why did you leave me alone mother? I don't have you anymore..."

Hrm...I could include in her backstory something along the lines of events where she and her mother were really close...but Chris left when she was around ten, the clan, and her mom. Hrm...lingering feelings of resentment.

I have stuff to work on. sweatdrop

Okay, there's a year of Chris's life that she doesn't remember...I think I mentioned this...but its suppressed/a false memory. Something triggers the memory to come back, and she ends up in the manor 'cause of how traumatic it was/ how regretful she feels...

adfasdfasfsa It works 'cause I left that year a blank slate, I just gotta think of really how to go about this.

Any suggestions with this might help .... owo

Just getting some more s**t down...

Blood Bonding
Usually done with best friends to bond as brothers or sisters. Most commonly used between boys who grow up together. Less common with women because of the Marriage stance that the Rhennee take. However when it is done, the blood sisters cannot be separated, so if they marry outside of the clan, the vashra of the clan usually force the husband to move into the clan, and accepts them into it.

Blood bonding is a Rhennee ritual from the old world. They've lost the true significance and power behind it and sometimes it is done unintentionally with disastrous results. If one brother or sister dies on the other, it usually leaves a mark upon the remaining, especially depending on how that person died. Sometimes it drives one to suicide.

Blood bonding was occasionally used to forge bonds between clans and unite them to stop fighting, though occasionally the ones bonded were killed so that the fight could begin again.

Rarely is the blood bonding done between lovers, husband and wife, or those outside of the clan. That is most often the mistake made, to bond with those outside the clan.

Need a name for the chicka... D8

Okay, Chris will have unintentionally blood bonded with a girl between the age of 10-11, promising her that they'd always be friends, always be together.

She was on a ship at the time, traveling was going to take a few days. I need to decide if she was with her master of if this was the incident her master rescued her from, the latter being the case. (which is the master rescue I think >.> Stupid former latter)

Okay...well, anyways, catastrophe happens and the girl she bonded with dies. It racks on her consciousness, as the blood bonding increases the amount of guilt and feelings of remorse... especially for a ten year old. What happens is the memories have to be locked away. For like... a long time 'cause the child couldn't handle it. Hence the missing block in memories. However something triggers, memories get released, and boom! Chris ends up in the manor.

>< Ya know... my thoughts seem happier at this than they should be. XD
