I loved it the first two times that I did it. After that I was just doing it to increase my stats.
I must admit that it was extremely satisfying to finish the bowl in the end, though.
It also looks like the MC is eating inhumanly quickly. His hands are moving so fast. O_o

I haven't finished it yet, but I still find it amusing to see the MC just go "omnomnomnomnom" and I agree. His hands are going like, unhumanly fast!

hehe! It's funny, i had to max out pratically EVERY stat, to get it.
(mind you I got a few just so i could go with (possible spoilers) Naoto (possible spoilers end)

I think the Beef Bowl is an undertone statement about video games these days.
What I mean by that is, it's like, you can boost all these stats. But if you want to boost them for free, you have to HAVE the stats already maxed out, so it's useless in the end.
In video games these days, think about it. You do all these super difficult challenges to earn... Let's say, to earn a really powerful weapon. But just by completing these ultra hard challenges, you're proving that you don't even NEED that weapon.

Your kinda right. But I think of it more as something to do after you beat the game. Like in .hack; after you beat the 3rd game it gives you The Forest Of Pain, which is a 100 level dungen. After you beat it though you can send a marrige or friendship card to anyone whos affinity you've maxed. It's the end fof the game so it doesn't help you but it gives you something to do I'm guessing that's why they put it in. As for Persona they probably did it so that you would do it to get some sort of special event. smile That's my guess anyway. xd
