Hi everyone! Just so you all know, there's a special Regigigas coming out to
Toys R US, March 8th through March 21st! This one might be a good one to get because you need this particular lv. 100 Regigigas to access the three caves that let you catch the other three Regi. However, this is only in the Platinum version. So if you do not intend to get Platinum, this Regigigas is still a strong lv. 100 pokemon, but serves no other purpose.
Remember: You can only access the other three Regi if you have this special event Regigigas in your party. If you don't get this specific Regigigas, you will not be able to catch the other Regi in your Platinum version.
Just thought you all ought to know! I've been meaning to put it up on here for a few weeks now, but I kept forgetting...

Wait it doesn't make sense. Platinum doesn't come out until March 22 but the event ends a day before. If this is for Platinum only how can people get it if they don't even have their games yet?

Well, that's because Nintendo of America is...well, they're basically trying to prompt people to reserve Pokemon Platinum. You see, what you do is you get the Regigigas on your Diamond or Pearl, then trade it to your Platinum when you get it. If you're already there getting a pokemon that will have a higher significance on a game that Toys R Us is taking reservations for, then you might feel more inclined to buy it.
And to answer the other question: No, they gave this Regigigas out at the opening of the 11th Pokemon movie in Japan. The same for the Shaymin. So, while America isn't the only country that gives them out, I think that the US may have a couple more than the others. (Dragonite)
Also, after Platinum comes out, sometime not too far after, Nintendo of America may also be releasing a special Rotom also. Just a heads up!

Yeah, techincally you can still do those things, but this seems a little simpler if you have the means to complete this transaction.

Actually, Regigigas already has a signature move called "Crush Grip". It's a move that deals damage in relation to the opponent's HP. The more HP they have, the more damage it deals. Pretty effective, no?

It should have a move like Dialga's "Roar of Time" or Giratina's "Shadow Force"...something like that...Something you could rely on for an instant KO, you know? ...Cresselia's got the worst signature move, though. It dies and then just heals the pokemon that takes it's place! That's a bit dumb...especially for a legendary...
