In the secluded section near the southern edge of Velocia, where the cobblestone walkways turned to dust and clay, a dark towering building stands amidst the rubble of a once prosperous part of the city. At first, you came here just to explore, but you soon find yourself awed by the architecture of this grand cathedral. Walking to the edge of the stairs, you find that the steps have been freshly swept, and the handles of the doors, newly polished. Even the ornate stained glass windows are free of dust and filth that should have accumulated over the many years of neglect. Obviously, someone takes time to clean the place. You find the door open. Should you enter?

You take a chance, and find yourself in a normal church-type building. One aisle leads from the doors of the cathedral to the podium at the front. Over the podium hangs a plain, wooden cross- 5 feet long and about 2 feet wide. Pews vertically line the spaces to the left and right of the aisles. Near the front, two doors lead to offices. (One to the left and one to the right of the cross that hangs on the wall.)

You don't see anyone, but you can feel someone's presence. You begin to arm yourself, but you feel a calm soothing voice whisper to you.

"Don't be afraid. I'm the protector and keeper of this building. I must inform you, you are not to cause trouble or desecrate this sacred building in any way. However, you are more than welcome to look around and rest for as long as your heart desires."
