A forest-covered island that was once much larger than it is now, due to over half of it being launched into the White-White Sea by Knock-Up Stream. In the present day, however, the island is mostly uninhabited other than a few towns. The island seems to be a major base for pirates.

Ben sailed Athena to the port of Jaya setting anchor down and stepping off the ship looking around at all the pirates and people around. "This place is lively for half an island." He walked to the edge of the port looking at the sandy beach and the lively looking forest apreciating the view.

Kale who had been asleep for a while, recovering from the injuries sustained by a group of over-grown ego maniacal men; was finally waking. Her head hurt, her eyes didn't want to open -- but when they did the glare made her groan in pain. Where were they? She took a breath and sat up, looking around and frowning; this wasn't any Blue she remembered.
Panic took over for a moment as she looked around the boat from her position, she didn't see anyone. Where was she? She opened her mouth to call out; but coughed from not using her voice for the longest. Her thoughts were hazy as well; what was the last thing she remembered?

Ben turned when he heard something on the deck of Athena and ran back to the ship seeing Kale sitting up coughing. He walked over to her placing his hand on the center of her back and trying to look at her face. "Kale? Are you alright? You've been out for some time now."

Kale who was still rather hazy frowned and jumped away with another cough; surprised for a moment and scared that the men -- which were here last memory had come back for her. Shaking her head, she peered at Ben through narrow eyes; she recognized him, but why was he here? Why hadn't he helped her.
"Sometime? I should say so." She finally ground out. Her voice was crackled -- but as it was slowly coming back into use it was sounding more and more like her. "Those men!" She said, her voice held conviction. "They attacked me." She tacked on; eyes darting around as if for some reason these men would pop out of no where.

Ben watched as Kale was still a little jumpy and she peered around speking about some men that attacked her before. He moved a little closer to her looking around slowly to try and calm her down. "Kale, there is noone else here. It's just you and me right now. Were in the Grandline at Jaya. Was it those men who hurt you before?" He was now wondering if this is why she was in such bad shape before.

Kale frowned a moment as what Ben said registered. "Jaya..." She frowned. "When did we leave for the Grandline! Why didn't you wake me up!?" She seemed disappointed by the fact that she had been left to sleep while they all left and did what they needed to do.
"You all just went, and left me here alone on the boat! What if someone had come around! What if the men had followed me here!" Apparently this thought was causing the girl more panic as she began to tremble. "They were so fast, it's entirely possible!" She swallowed hard, eyes darting around again -- unaware that she probably sounded mental at this point.

Ben shook his hands infront of his face slightly towards Kale. "What? No. We never left you alone on Athena. I wouldn't let anything happen to my nakama while Im around." He placed his hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her since she looked like she was loosing it slightly.

Kale took a breath trying to calm down. She listened to Ben's words and took heed. He wouldn't let anything happen to her, or anyone else in the Nakama. She had to believe that. "But you weren't there then." She whispered. "When they were attacking me." She murmured. "You're not always around to protect us." She bowed her head and slowly forced herself to stand.
She was shaking as she got to her feet. She stood there a moment, and tried to keep herself still. She needed to change, and she needed to eat. Her tummy rumbled slightly as she stood there causing a slight blush to come to her cheeks.

Ben turned to the side looking at the coast of the island off the ship and spoke to Kale in a soft tone. "Get something to eat. Your just tired."

Kale seemed to get rather angry at him. "What? Go eat, I'm just tired!" She swallowed and crossed her arms. "I've been to sleep for who knows how long, and I'm tired!" She glared. "I'm scared. I got attacked by five men, 2 of which that could compare to me in speed." She hissed. "If I hadn't gotten away, who knows what they would have done to me!" She clentched her fists. "What do you know though?" She turned her back on Ben.

Ben stood there motionless looking out to the coast not saying a word to reply to what Kale just said. His orange sunglasses hiding the expression in his eyes.

That seemed to just upset Kale more and she turned back on him. "You have nothing to say?" She stepped forward. "No, 'you're right Kale; I don't know what it's like, I'm sorry'?" She glared.

"You're a jerk." She threw up her hands annoyance stomping over to him. "Are you listening? I'm talking to you!" She pushed him.
