"Now where did those two numb skulls go to?" Plum asked herself as she looked around the alley. Yet again Lem and Ade had disappeared on her. "How are we ever supposed to work together if we're never together?!" she sighed. She sniffed the air, but couldn't get their scents. "I don't even know why I bother with those two idiots."

Geovanni streached and dropped down from the fire escape to the alley below. 'The night looks beautiful' he thought as he tried to think of what he should do with the wonderful weather. But a purple female blocked his path. What was she doing in his alley?
"Hello, mon amie! Might I be helping you?" he asked her.

(*stabs self for saying this* It's actually "mon amie" since Plum is a girl. "Ami" is a friend who is a guy and "Amie" is a friend who is a girl. Sorry for nitpicking! D=)
Plum stopped and turned around. "What did you call me?" she asked as she turned. Then she stopped. The male in front of her was very handsome. Ade would have a fit if he ever heard me say that. she thought to herself with a small laugh.

Geo frowned. "Oh, I called you my friend. I was wondering what I should do on such a lovely night and did not expect a beautiful female to appear in front of me, no offense meant. I have learned it is always best to make freinds rather than enemies, though, so how about it? Would you like to be my friend?" he asked and laughed.

Plum blinked and blushed a little. "W-well I wouldn't know. I don't even know your name after all." she said to answers his offer of friendship. Forget my idiot "friends". This guy is more worth my time. she thought.

"Again my apologies! I am Geovanni. This alley is where I call my home. I love the atmosphere, the location, and the flowers that grow here. Nowhere in the city will you find roses as plentiful or as beautiful as the ones here. Now you know something about me, what about you, mon- I mean, madame?" He smiled at her, she looked as nervous as he felt. He had not been in the city long and had not met many residents, let alone females. Dispite the fact that he would have complemented her even if she was plain, she really was attractive. He hoped he hadn't been too rude. It would be a shame to have her walk off on him.

Plum looked around. It was true, the roses here were very nice. She never really payed that much attention. She was always too busy keeping Ade and Lem in line. "My name is Plum. . . It's nice to meet you Geovanni." she said with a flick of her tail. This was the first time she actually liked meeting someone new.
