In the still warm summer morning, leaffall still further waway in thought than in reality, Savith drifted from his latest perch, in search of a rock shaper.

Autumn could be found near the cliffs. She was sitting quietly making spear tips, arrow heads and knifes. She had a good pile sitting next to her and worked with her eyes closed most of the time. Letting the feel of the rock guide her more then the look of it to her eyes.

Finding his 'prey', the former Chosen drifted up the cliff face on a bit of warm air from the sand below, arms folding over his chest as he held himself before the smaller elfess. His eyes rested on what she was doing for a moment, before his mind reached out with a cordial, **Speaking of shaping...**

The send made her open her eyes to find Savith before her. Autumn smiled just a bit. *Did you have need of something My Chief?" still unable to put him in a less formal context and just say his name.

A nod was given as Savith sent in reply, **A proper den.**

Autumn stood and placed all she made in a basket she had brought and held it in her arms. *I would be happy to. I was just making things we would need once the cold gets here.* She pushed the basket forward a little to show him.

Savith glances in the basket, the breeze buffeting him. **I would hazard to guess the Hunters need them now, before the weather turns, but it is good they are being made none the less,** he replies, straightening from the slight forward-lean he had done to see. **Will you climb to meet me at Mother's cave,** he asks, send fading away in an unspoken hint at a question: or will you need/want me to fly us there?

She felt her heart move up into her throat a bit. She wasn't sure how she felt about flying. It was an odd sensation and to be with the near High One was almost more then she could ever expect. *I will climb. I wouldn't want to be a bother.* The send rang with that familer feeling he would get from her, one of inadiquice.

**If you like,** comes the reply, even as Savith drifts back the equivalent of a half-step. **it is hardly a bother. You are not as heavy as others whom I have carried in such a fashion.**

Her mind chuckled a bit as she started to make her way down from her sitting place. The basket made things aquward but she managed. *Nice to know I'm not the fattest thing you ever had to heft around I guess.* The send joyful and just a touch silly.

Savith smirked lightly. **By far,** he retorted lightly, a touch of darkness shadowing the otherwise near-tongue&cheek feel of the response. **May I hold the basket for you, at least? It would prevent me having to try to catch you, should you slip.**

Here she gave him a little bit of a look. *I should slip on the rocks?* The send a bit taken aback. As if to prove her point she bounded down the cliff side. Great leaps and bounds as she seemed to fly herself. It was as if rock shot out to meet her feet or her hand till she was at the bottom. *Now should we see who gets to the cave faster?* A light grin touching her lips as the emerald eyes sparkled like fresh young leaves in spring.

Savith shook his head at Autumn Joy, face unsmiling but unfrowning all at once. At her send, he hid a sigh, tucked himself up, and launched himself over the edge and toward his Mother's den with all the speed granted him by age and training.

Autumn didn't try to catch him. She watched him dart off like an arrow set to flight. Instead she just bounded along at her own pace till she reached the cave and climbed up into it. *Ok you win.* giving a little chuckle.

Savith smirked with a 'of course i won' sort of look to his face, before he turned. Just past the entrance, on the right side of the wall, he rested his hand. **I've been scouting the cliff for days. Mother's cave cuts back in this direction several paces further in, so there's more rock, enough to work with, perhaps? But still close enough to the outter wall of the cliff for an aerie.**

*As long as the rock is strong and shifting it will not make someplace to weak I'm sure it could be done. Not in a day I'm sorry to say but I will work till it is as you wish it to be.* She placed a hand on the cave wall and closed her eyes. Slowly moving along the wall and plaacing her other hand up she smiled a bit. *It should work.*

Savith stepped back as the shaper drew near, giving her space to work where he might not disturb. As she says it could work, he nods, and turns to go. **When you have the rough hollow, Send for me. i shall Fly to you,** he sends, a slight chill about his mind.

*You could stay if you like.* Her mind feeling that chill and wondering what was wrong.

Savith shakes his head, already alighting from the ground to be out of the cave opening. **I have no wish to... disturb your work with my presence,** he replies in a near-falsehood. More that the sense of it was that there was something missing than the reason was an out right lie.

*You would be no bother really.* Her mind filling with a slight disapointment and curiosity on his wanting to be gone. Still if he was determined to go she wouldn't keep him.

**Send for me when the shell is complete, and I'll work with you on the... details,** he sends, a touch quicker than is normal for him. Turning as he pulls himself from the ground completely, he drifts out into the wind, and seems to get pulled to the side by it, out and away from the shaper.

He seemed happy enough to find her and now seemed bothered. She was confused. Just the same way she was when Blaze darted from her company. Still she went to work and did as he wished of her. Making a nice wide room with four pillers standing in various areas for extra support. An opening in the room that led outside. Wide enough for Savith to easily fly in and out of. By the time she was done it was dusk. Then she called him quietly, *It is hollowed out and ready for finishing up.*

As the summons touched his mind, Savith rose from where he had be idling away his time, and flew to the shaper. Enterng the newly hollowed chamber, his mind supplies a cordial, quite formal, **You Sent?** It's as if to imply the rest of the dogma of the Chosen: My Lord Sends. I Fly to Obey. What is thy Will, My Lord? He drops to a graceful landing as he sends, boots thumping softly to the rock below, even as his eyes scan the interior space.

Autumn stood in the doorway that would easily let him pass to the outside. Wind blew lightly through the fire colored hair. The streaking sun just bringing out more radience it seemed. Turning she looked around what she haad done then asked lightly, *Whatelse should you desier of this place? I am rested and every use of my powers only makes them stronger.* Her send holding pride in being able to do this for him along with joy in what she was doing.

Savith nodded as she replied, eyes trailing over the empty space. What would he desire? His eyes tense with the pang of a lonely heart as a frown tugs at teh corners of his lips. But he doesn't comment, instead, he opts to drift to the center of the area, and study things. **An alcove, just there,** he replies after a time, long enough to regain his command of the sadder emotions that would have soured his mental tone. **wide as I am tall, and that and again as long. With a shallow basin, perhaps a hand's breath deep, sitting just under hip-high for me. The 'roof', then, just at my height as i stand now, with only a slight basin at the outer edge. Later, we'll need a rod to span the distance, but not now.**

She took in his send carefuly. Making note of every detail as he described it. When he was done she moved to get working but then paused a moment. The near High One had shred his ggift of flight aand level thinking with her more then once. She did so want to do something for him if she could. *My Chief, might I share something with you?* The send was almost excited at the thought that buzzed in her head. A hand lightly motioning him over to her.

Savith quirked a brow, but refrained from approaching. **You may,** he replied, arms coming up to fold over his chest while he waited.

*You have to give me your hand please.* She smiled but her eyes pleaded for him to let her do this.

A suspicious half frown and the narrowing of eyes accompany a cold, **Why?** The thought seems to drip chill.

*I won't eat your hand. I just wanted to share something with you is all. Please, let me do this.* Her mind starting to withdraw from his. Not wanting to upset him and ready to let herself think awful things about why he wouldn't want to place his pure blooded hands on her tainted skin for any reason.

Savith eyed her a moment, then resignedly drifted over and held out a hand, palm up.

Slowly she took it in hers and pulled him to touch the wall with her haand on top. Quickly he felt the rock move and shift under his palm. Almost as if it was him. Moving his hand about to sculpt part of the opening he wanted. If he responded well to what was happening she would pull her hand to but a whisper against his so that it might seem even more like it was just him.

A heartbeat passes as Savith seems to dully watch the rock move under his hand. He knows that he's not using magic, he spent himself far too often far too young to be fooled into thinking he could do this. Turning his head from the shaping, he settles cold, razor-sharp emerald-chip eyes to Autumn Joy. **Are you quite finished,** he asked. His mind's voice was dark, cold, and edging toward the sinisterly cruel.

Autumns smile fled as fast as it had shown up. Pulling everything about herself away from him. Without a word she turned back to the wall. His cutting gaze almost to much to take. Regret and sorrow filling her mind and the face soon tking a look of the stone she worked on now in silence.

Savith stepped away, eyes sliding back to his hand. His uppe rlip twitched as he fought a sneer. Finding a measure of calm, at least, for the moment, he closed his eyes and took a breath in. Exhaling as he reopenned his eyes, he once more folded his arms over his chest, and waited.

She saaid nothing and did not look at him again. Her mind getting lost in her foolishness. She worked away and cursed herself ever moment she did. Of course it was a stuipd idea. Why should he want a seckond hand gift? How could she think she was doing something good? She could feel everything he didn't say. Even his smell changed in his anger. It took longer then she might normaly have taken but it was roughed out a bit. Her only words, *What else My Chief.* The send again blocked off from every part of her mind or emotion. Nothing reaching him but flatness.

**It's to be a bed area, Shaper,** comes Savith cold reply as he turns away from the shaping, walking toward the open aerie. He frowns to himself, folded arms seeming almost to come to hug himself. 'Even after all of it, learning who he is, resolving our issues,' his mind thinks silently to itself.

She nods, not that he sees but still. Taking a breath she starts on the sleeping area. smoothing things out so nothing pokes the near High Ones delicate flesh. Her brow starting to sweat but she pushes herself on. No she wouldn't stop now. That might requier her to speak to him and that wasn't happening unless it had to. Longer still it took. Pushing herself as her hands started to shake. The cool night breeze flowing over her felt good. She was hot at the moment. It seemed so very hot.

Savith watched the sun's light fade, hunter-sharp ears listening to the faint rustles of cloth and skin, the faint rush of breath taken, as Joy shapes his bed. As the shake frmo her hands grows into a slightliy noticeable quiver in her breathing, the Chosen turns to settle his gaze upon her. **You should stop to rest when you have need. It needs not all be done in one evening.**

A heavy gasp as she pulled herself from the rock. Lifting an arm to wipe the sweat she flopped down to sit. *I'm..... :Her mind not letting the word fine pass: I'll be fine in a bit.* She placed her hnds on her knees to keep them still and closed her eyes so not to look at him. It took consentration to steady her breath eventhough she wanted to pant a while.

**Need you water,** his mind asks, cold and distant but no longer cruel.

The unconfortable silence stretches on until it is broken by the sound of sandles on stone. It herald's Peyote's voice, "Sun Bless me! We've grown a new room!" And in she walks, eyes wide.

Autumn rolls her eyes a bit. The last one she wanted to deal with at such a moment would be the bubble headed Desert elfess. Still she was glad she didn't have to speak to her.

Savith turns at the sound, face settling into something more calmly normal. "Yes, so we have," he replies. "Autumn Joy has been kind enough to begin shaping me a room of my own."

Peyote's bracelet's jingle and she brings a hand to her lips, ineffecticely hiding a giggle. "Going to live with your mommy?"

Her joke at Savith's expence makes Autumns hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Her eyes focus on the girl with a frowning stare.

"As any good Son would," is Savith's reply, voice sounding neither annoyed nor lightened by it. "Can I help you with something?"

: Peyote keeps smiling, noting, but ignoring the other elfess's stare for the moment. "Oh, no. Not really. I was just coming up to get a few things, when I noticed the hole." She glances about, finally replying to Joy's glare with a bright little smile. "Ooh! Is this your bed," she all but coos flirtaciously as her gaze alights upon the ledge.

Savith clearly hears the low growl the rumbles from the shaper. The eyes narrow and she pushes herself to stand.

"Yes," Savith replies, settling into Diplomatic Role, as had once been ordered so long ago. Hearing the growl, he looks over. "Not that you'll be growing intimate with it," he adds with a touch of cold aloofness.

Peyote's giggle at Savith's answer drowns out Joy's growls for the moment, even as the villager turns from it to waggle a finger at the glider. "You dont know what you're missing, fly boy," she retorts pleasantly.

Autumn just turns away and gives them her back. She is not feeling social, nor accomidating and most of all not ready to deal with the flighty headed Pey.

"I am rather happy to remain blissfully ignorant of it, server," Savith replies, tone edging toward lighter and friendly. He's never really bantered with her before. It's... almost like home, in some ways.

"Ah, well... For the best," she comments, looking around again, eyes settling on Joy. "I'd likely break you, and your bird-bones," she comments. "Well... I guess... I'll leave you to to your..." She waves a hand, bracelets kingling," ..whatever you're doing. Shade!" She waves as she turns to go.

It was a good rest. Autumn slowly set back to work without a word.

"Clear skies," Savith replies with a nod to Peyote, eyes turning back to the shaper. He's silent a moment, before his mind presses slightly, **Do, take your time. It would be.. unseemly for you to be over taxed.**

*If you just give me an image of exactly what you want My Chief you can go and I will finish this without bothering you.* That flat walled off send that he got before.

Savith studies her a moment, then replies, **I can think of nothing more clear enough to offer you.** His eyes narrow as he studies her.

She is still beaating herself up. She is good at it. At the moment she is uncomfortable round him. She would like to bolt but remains to do the job he wanted. She puts herself aside for him. Nothing matters as much as his wishes at this moment. He is a near High One. His will to be done and she would spend herself to her last breath to give him just that. If he only knew just how much she thought of him. The pedastool she put him nad his Mother one. He might even find the hight dizzying. *Very well then. I will do what you have asked and go from there.* Silent she went back to work. Slower, taking her time and breathing slowly and steadily almost as if meditating.

Savith watched her work, emotions being pushed down in favor of his cold calculations. **We are the same,** he states after a time. **We make each other uneasy.**

*We are far from the same.* Here she let regret slip out. Leaking along the send like a crack in a cace wall that leaked water. Once she noticed though it was quickly pulled back.

Savith quirks a brow. **A beg to differ,** he replies simply. **But will not argue the point.**
