Do you have any funny or interesting stories regarding video games? If so, post them here.
My story involves fate and super mario smash brothers brawl.
I was really into a friend of mine for quite a while, we hung out from time to time but it was hard with him going to college and all. he knew I was a big gamer and adored the smash brothers series. One day he shows up at my work place, saying that he just bought brawl and that i should come over the next day and play... I was OMFG...so obviously I agreed... He left and about 20 minutes before the end of the shift I began to have these bad a** pains in my stomach. I got home, tried to sleep, then woke up my mom at 3am for her to bring me to the hospital. I ended up having gal stones and i needed to get my whole gall blatter removed the next morning. I forgot my cell phone and had no way of contacting the friend that I was in to. needles to say I got out of the hospital 3 days later....I got home and had 37 missed texts and calls. I called him back, told him what happend and he was a bit sceptical..I mean what are the chances a person ends up in the hospital only a few hours after you've seen them? so he offered to come back the following weekend. (his appartement for college is an hour away from his home) so he picked me up that weekend, and I showed him my stitches as proof, he laughed then we played smash brothers all day....later that night he asked me out....
we have been together ever since..... It will be one year on the 21st of march
I know my story is a little long to read but very intertaining.....
all this to say that video games does alot of good in the world >_<

I remember this one time, I went to my boyfriend's apartment, but him and his room mate had blown their money on God knows what, so they got their cable turned off...
It's big for them, since they bought this huge HD plasma, but now no cable or XBOX Live...
I remember, it was snowing [It hardly EVER snows where I live] and we were watching DVDs for a while...
Then he whips out his N64 so we could play... Pokemon Colisuem!
T-T; He's since then moved to Germany, though, so I don't even see him at all, now.
I can't even play games with him anymore, I don't own a blasted XBOX.
Just a funny anecdote though.
Old games look incredibly epic on huge TVs.

A couple of years ago me and my other two brothersm were playing mario kart... The three of us saw we were about to get this score, each of us one point away so we tried to not get it...
We got it any way
x.x
It was so insane how hard we tried to avoid it, just cause 666, 666, 666 just didn't seem kosher, i had to take a picture Dx
I mean i think one of us actually stopped at the finish line and someone knocked 'em across with a turtle shell by accedent >.<'

@Kimatra: I never had a 64, so I really wasn't all that great...
But, given the chance, I would pull out my gameboy from my closet in a heartbeat and go all Charizard on his a**. ;D

But, given the chance, I would pull out my gameboy from my closet in a heartbeat and go all Charizard on his a**. ;D oh hell yes... i loved charizard... I replayed my blue version like a mmillion times

My friend brought his Super Mario Smash Brothers Brawl over once...
and it was me, him, my brother, and my brothers friend playing
and we all chose Bowser...and put it on computer, and went to make ramen cause we were hungry (:
but we made this stupid level filled with spikes at the bottom, and all the bowsers got stuck, and were bouncing around and making funny noises
and that's all we heard while we ate
it was hilarious!
we did the same thing with Mr Game-n-watch too haha
