Okay, every time a battle starts create a thread here called, "[Insert Name Here vs [Insert Name Here] Fight Debate". This will tell everyone in the guild, that a fight has begun, and that both fighters agree that a fight has begun. At this point no posts created by either fighter can be deleted/edited without permission, as it will appear to be cheating. In conjunction with this anyone may enter the fight however, lets say a member of one of the fighters crew is in the South Blue when the fight starts in the North Blue. This crew member wouldn't have a way of knowing that a fight was going on and there for wouldn't really be able to randomly pop up in the South just in time.
In the created thread, both fighters can argue that something done was unfair. For example: Someone gets punched, yet they appear fine. The argument can be made that "the character would be more hurt" stats have to be kept in mind. The two fighters can settle disputes as they arise in each post. If they cannot come to an agreement then mods will decide in a vote.
What Constitutes a Fight:
1. For a fight to begin both people must attack. Simply blocking an attack without retaliating is not a fight. Both RPers must make an effort to hurt each other.
2. In the case that a person is randomly attacked and they do not wish to engage in battle they have a few options:
a. Block
b. Run
c. Fight
If a person blocks or runs without attacking a fight has not started and no experience will be awarded. If a person flees a fight
3. In the case of a fight that involves more than two people a post order must be made and followed.
Winning a Fight:
1. All but one of the fighters surrenders.
2. All but one of the fighters are unable to fight.
3. If one of the fighters logs on but doesn't post in the fight thread for 3 or more days, the other fighter may ask a mod to look into the situation. If the person who logs on and did not post is found out to be guilty of this offense they will lose the fight.
~Note: When I say all but one of the fighters, the but one can be a team or crew of fighters that have not surrendered but are working together.
The Winner of a Fight will always get experience.
However a Marine will also receive Beli. They get 1/5 of the Pirate's total worth in Beli for their service to the Marine.
A Loner can turn in a pirate and get 1/10 of a Pirate's total worth in Beli however if they do so they cannot be part of a pirate crew.
A Pirate will not receive any money for winning a battle.
~Create one forum per fight.
~Delete the forum when the experience is awarded to the winner.
~The fight will need to have a clear victor to get experience.
