A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

On a planet far on the outer rim, change was happening. A race of beings not unlike the Velociraptors you know of on your planet was dying. Their world had changed, and was no longer able to support them as they were. The scientists of their day predicted they had a few years, maybe a decade at most, before their entire race was wiped out. Relocation and genetic manipulation were the only viable options. The government seized control of all research to keep things organized, and split the research into the two options. To facilitate relocation, they needed ships capable of transporting them to their new home, wherever it may be. Those in power knew that they would still need the other option in case another planet wasn't available within their needs, so they concentrated most of their efforts on genetics. As most of you know, desperation brings fast results. In a few short years, the research yielded the first test subject, a child who was now warmblooded and had an opposable digit on each hand. This child also had...abilities. The people didn't understand these, but were overwhelmed that this was successful. Tests continued, with more and more of the newly changed Raptors being born. The older Raptors could not be changed, but they did what they could to make sure their offspring would survive.

Finally, as the world entered its final days, the last breakthrough was made: teleportation. They successfully teleported a box to another planet and brought it back. In order to accomplish this, they tapped directly into the planet's rapidly cooling core to provide energy. The leaders knew they had little time left, and quickly organized the altered Raptors into small groups. One by one, they transported the groups to new locations, as far away as they could.

One of the groups materialized on Earth, surrounded by dinosaurs of similiar appearance. In order to blend in, the removed all clothing and hid their technology, careful to make sure they retained the knowledges should they ever need them again. Several hundred years later, they still retained the knowledge of their ancestors, but a new problem arose. The other dinosaurs were dying from a similiar event to the one that destroyed the Raptor's world. This time, they decided to hide themselves from the new race that was taking power - humans. These new creatures were soft, but they made up for it other ways. The Raptors decided it would be better that the humans not find them.

The Raptors gathered together on an island. There, they began building a city, using the technology of their ancestors. The city was built mostly underground, with entrances scattered over the entire island. They disguised the entrances as various things - tree branches, large boulders, even rock formations. Some, however, chose to build above ground, though they too kept their dwellings camouflaged.

Eventually, Gaian adventurers found their way to the island. A handful even discovered some of the entrances. Those who could be trusted were given the choice of staying or swearing to secrecy. Those who could not be trusted....were silenced.

You are one of those "adventurers". What is your choice?
