Personality: She holds a rather dark soul, her emotions never seem to be happy, as the darkness in her heart spreads each day. Holding a stoic facade, hiding her inner turmoil. She seems to always hold a tough air around her, something you wouldn't want to mess with. An icy personality, giving off the cold emotionless appearance even though her heart says otherwise. She doesn't mind being around others, though prefers solitude.

Physical Description: Tall, curvy body, well built toned muscles. Short locks of charcoal black, complemented by her beautiful emerald eyes that held endless depths. She wears the normal shinigami outfit.

Shikai: (Not yet achieved I guess) Shi no tenshi, despite it's name, brings no real death in Shikai. In fact it is opposite, the name is used as a bluff in order to frighten the opponent thinking they are to die from the 'Angel of death" when in actually, she cannot kill another. The sword's element, water, holds a healing agent which can heal minor woulds, nothing major or life threatening but can help prolong someone's life until given further attention. The sword becomes clear, water rushing through it, as if the sword itself was glass on the outside. Though it looks to be made of glass it is not as fragile as the breakable material. When Shikai has reached full potential she will be able to heal vast injuries, but will weaken her physically and mentally every time she heals something great.
Bankai: (not yet achieved) Even in bankai, Shi no tenshi looks the same as shikai, made of a clear but strong crystal like substance filled with healing water. Despite the shikai being of a just healing nature, her bankai is of defensive healing. The attack it uses is isn't strong like other shinigami's, but that is because she is not the offensive person. The attack is simply a flick of her wrist, the sword swiping against the air sending small shards of piercing ice. They are easy enough to dodge or block, they are truely meant to distract while she busies herself in healing others.
The true ability of her bankai is to create a bubble of water, gathering it around the wounded giving them protection whether the shield is weak or not as the energy released inside heals the injured. Though the process of healing many takes time, depending on how low her reiatsu and how many are injured. If anything she'd heal the larger more life threatening wounds first and let them get to safety before finishing the healing process with the help of others. Her shield will last as long as she is not mortal wounded or low on reiatsu, as well as her mental strength must be strong. If mentally weakened or physically weakened, there is not telling how long or how strong her shield will be. It most likely will be weakened.

Skills: She is skill in acrobatics and many other types of flexibility skills. She is fast, with good agility and sharpness. She has fluid and graceful movements. She was taught kendo when human and has kept herself fit with it along with archery. Most of her skills are in basic self defense and basic fighting, along with the basic skill every shingami learns in the beginning.
Bio: Tenshi Sumi, a young woman of twenty was on her way to a kendo competition, driving there a large truck filled with gasoline just a few cars ahead of her suddenly was shot by a passing black car. Her eyes widened as the oil truck spun, fire surrounding the streets. She was amongst it, her car colliding the the oil truck itself, the other cars in front of her had swerved and caused over accidents. She wasn't knocked unconscious by the collision, she was quite aware of her bleeding head, arm and neck. Glass surrounded her numb body, fire spreading around her car. The flames licking her body burning her alive, her screams stuck in her throat.
She barely noticed her burning body was being pulled out of the car, by two strong men. They were trying to get her out of her car before the fire spread to the oil truck that would no doubt cause an explosion. The two men succeeded in untangling her mangled body from her car, they carried her off running to a safe distance, the one man carrying her, when they had just reached safety the oil truck exploded. The explosion deafening to her ears, pain swelling in her arm, neck, and above her right eye, which bleed profusely. She was loosing a lot of blood in a short amount of time.
She had been in pitch blackness, until she heard a faint voice. Opening her eyes she was met with a handsome face, with long raven black hair, and dark blue eyes that glowed. The man was saying words of encouragement, that she would survive this. Two others stood around her, wearing white doctor's outfits. She was in an hospital helicopter due to the distance between the accident and the hospital, something covered her mouth giving her oxygen. Then she blanked out, everything going black again due to blood loss.
Hours later of arriving to the hospital, she obtained a stable condition, IV's were pumping blood back into her body, wrappings covered her arms, torso, neck, and head, as she laid on a white medical bed, asleep, under white blankets. The man who'd saved her sitting in a chair not far away.
She woke two days later, the same man there to greet her. It seemed he'd taken a liking to her despite her hideous burn and glass scar that went down the top of her right temple to her cheek bone, she couldn't complain. It turned out he was also headed to the Men's kendo competition that day. He helped her in rehab, spent time with her. They soon after two years of dating they were married. Living happily, but careful of her extreme fear of fire. She never drove for very long or long distances, terrified something would happen again. If anything she'd walk or ride a bike to where she needed to go or find someone to take her to her destination if they were headed in the same direction.
She died only months after her marriage, she was on her way home, from a kendo competition, having just been named the female champion, she felt happy. Eating out with her husband, she was forced to watch her husband be brutally attacked before her eyes. She was captured and held captive, where they burned her alive, her fear realized. Her mind scream along with her body as she felt her skin beginning to turn to ash, her body dieing off. When she died she stood, as a spirit watching the horror, her mind still living it.
A shinigami, who was in charge of the area showed up, witnessing it all. A hollow came after her, her soul was strong and fierce though her mind was weakened—the perfect prey. She was caught in the grip of the large hollow who cackled as she squirmed, trying to release herself from his grasp. Her icy touch did not make the hollow happy, it angered him. The shinigami killed off the hollow soon after she released herself. Her spirit chain broken now, her death permanent. The male shinigami looked at her and smiled wryly, explained to her what she was now and sent her off to the soul world.
She later found out her husband had lived and searched for her, but was horrified what remained of her body, grieving at her funeral and promised himself he would never marry again. She ached to see him happy again, but knew she wouldn't. She lived in the soul world, on the outskirts of the Soul society. She was one of the few who could gather reiatsu, who had a strong soul energy. It wasn't long that she was taken to the soul academy.
Where she passed with one of the few highest scores in all her classes, especially kendo and kidou. Many looked up to her but she kept to herself keeping the icy air about her so others wouldn't try to get close to her. Soon graduating top of her class, she would no doubt join one of the squads. She just hoped to join a squad in which she could help people.
