Well, I'm starting my first big project, an afghan, but I don't know what something in the pattern means. It goes as follows:

Ch 7, dc in third ch from the hook (ring), (ch 10, dc in third ch from hook) 3 times, ch 5:4 rings.

What does ring mean? Dx I'm not sure what it wants me to do.
