A Blessed Union is pretty much the same as marriage is in our society with a couple of key differences:
+Blessed Union is free
+Blessed Unions can be same gender
+Blessed Unions result in a fertility boost
+Blessed Unions must be earned (See requirements)
+By breaking a Blessed Union you are subject to a fertility loss as a punishment

I get a fertility boost!?!
Yes, the same as you would with a fertility boosting pet, item or stat that comes with your Leekozri or is earned through RP. The boost from Blessed Union is the highest boost you can get.

Does that mean my Leekozri no longer is sterile or has STDs?
No, while in some rare cases we may choose to grant a sterile Leekozri a breeding, it must be earned through dedicated RP. STDs do not all go away, the ones that can be cured can be done so with purchased medications.

If your Leekozri has a fertility defect this bonus may help, but having low fertility in comparison to having STDs or being sterile are two different things.

If I do the Blessed Union does that mean I can breed for free?
No, to breed for free you have to earn that reward with either RP points or a free breeding coupon rewarded at an event.

Can I join in Blessed Union with multiple Leekozri?
No, it's meant to be a union between two Leekozri who love each other deeply and intend to spend their fictional lives together. You cannot join in Blessed Union if:
-You want to do the Union with more than 2 Leekozri
-You want to do the Union between 1 Leekozri and an object
-You want to do the Union between 1 Leekozri and ANY familiars
-You want to do the Union between 1 Leekozri and ANY NON Leekozri

Can I get a dissolve of my Blessed Union (Divorce)?
Yes but you will be punished with a fertility loss.

Why am I getting punished?! D:
A Blessed Union shouldn't be done on a limb DO NOT enter it if you aren't going to do your absolute best. It's just like marriage in real life, a lot of times it breaks apart now because it's easier than trying to fix it. Relationships are HARD, it's a good fact to learn.

The following steps must be taken before applying to be joined in a Blessed Union.

1) A private RP of the relationship must be done in this sub forum. It cannot be more than PG 13 it's more of a how we met, how we fell in love and who popped the question RP. It can be done in small segments, it by no means needs to be a novel. 2 or 3 well done paragraphs covering each would be sufficient. (You can link to outside RPs that you think may help your case)

2) You must fill out the Blessed Union application and submit it to this thread once you have completed the RP. Fill it out in entirety.

3) If the union is taking place between Leekozri who belong to different people, than one person needs to post the application and the other needs to post that they consent afterward. (Saying I do will work too)

4) You must post the engagement announcement in the main shop thread so that staff knows you've applied.

5) BE PATIENT one of our RP managers will review your application. You will receive via PM if you need to elaborate on any of your RP application, or if you've been denied for any reason. If you were denied and you feel it was unjust please pm me "ChimeraNell" to discuss it.

IF YOU ARE APPROVED: Congratulations, one of our staff members will add your names to our Blessed Union Scroll! Now all you need do is go and post in the naming thread that you'd like your certs updated to show this new status. You will also be receiving a stat icon on your cert showing the fertility bonus you get with a Blessed Union. You can now hold a RP or little mini event in the guild celebrating your wedding, you don't have to but if you hold a little party your more likely to get wedding gifts!

IF YOU ARE DENIED: There is good reason behind it, it may be one of the following reasons:
-Your RP was copy paste of someone else
-You blatantly intend to do nothing but puppy farm your Leekozri and the RP reflects no sort attachment beyond hormones
-One of the Leekozri have been in multiple short lived Blessed Unions
-One or more of the Leekozri is a cosplay who would NEVER marry. No Vampire Hunter D would NEVER marry Sailor Moon.
-The other owner (if there is one) does not consent
-You don't follow the steps
-Your in Exile, or Banished
-You were REALLY rude or pushy during the process
-You dressed a sheep up as a Leekozri o__o;;
