After seeing the Darwin Awards announcement and thinking back to some of the scams i'd come across, it got me reminiscing nostalgically to some of the moments that made being part of Gaia such a great thing, memorable events and how it had changed over the years. So I thought a little patch of the guild where we can kick off our grunny slippers, hang up our Bammi hats and share stories of Gaianess might be a fine idea. ^_^

I was invited here by a penpal (who stopped talking to me, ironically) ages ago who said she was more active here. Ever since I've been fairly active and inquisitive about the place - then I became a bit obsessed.xD
My name was LArchel at first after the Fire Emblem character I liked, L'Arachel. But when I realized I spelled it wrong, it changed to Princess LArachel. Then I finally became Primrose Moon after I did an avatar (it was ninja-like) and I wanted to enter it in the Avatar Contest (which I never did) but the character needed a name which was Primrose Moon.
My first guild was Fire Emblem Forever which I'm still at! It holds a lot of memories for me and I love the people there still very much. Um, I've never taken part in any events and a lot of my favourite places to go are Art Freebies and Barton Town. *deep breath*
Phew!

Well, first I was called Fluffinella. After Mr. Shimmelfinney's cat in Fraggle Rock. Primmit convinced me it was fun and so I joined. The first place I joined was Nintendo's Critters, Primmit's own Guild.
I'm now called Card Queen, which I googled to make sure it wasn't anything else! It's based off of my obsession for SNK s Capcom Cardfighters Clash.
I also named my first Superhero Card Queen and her outfit is exactly what I'm wearing (sans Pink Hair) which was my first Dream Avatar.
I bought a Genie Lamp Bundle. I was so upset afterwords when they yielded crap I could've bought for a fraction of the price.
There was this one time, where I walked out of a Guild because people I thought were my friends turned out to be selfish dicks. But that's a story for another time.
I also bought every single active member of the afore mentioned Guild a present for Christmas.
There was also this one time, where Primmit was fed up with her Fire Emblem Guild and left taking all of the valuable members and made a new Guild. It was active for a while then our computers had to be disassembled for ages and now it's dead.

I think a friend of mine introduced me to GaiaOnline.
Oddly enough, she stopped coming a few months ago.
I'm sort of on my way out now, actually.
This guild is pretty much the only thing keeping me coming back now, cuz it actually seems interesting..... and ACTIVE.
Most of the other guilds I'm in are all really dead. =/
The most fun I've had here on Gaia was in a particular thread of the Word Games forum called "Dear Diary". Here one had to write their entry in the form of a diary entry, preferably using the avatar above you as the topic.
When I joined the thread, there was a roleplay thing going on with a few of the posters, myself included. This roleplay thing was a lot of fun for a while, but then eventually the RP drama started growing out o proportion, and that's when I knew I had to leave.
I made a few friends on that thread though, and many of them are still on my friends list today.
For a long time after that I came back mostly to buy the latest evolving item.
Then eventually I got tired of spending money on the cash points.
I was kind of disappointed when zOMG was finally released. I was hoping it'd be more fun and less wonky. But really it's just the same as walking through Towns, but with the added bonus of being able to fight stuff. =/
And I never liked walking around in Towns.
Hopefully this guild will stay active so I can have something to occupy myself with while I'm still here on Gaia. =)
And give me a reason to update my avatar.

Awww, that's kinda sad. I really hope we can have you around a long time and have you make your Gaian home here! Especially because I know the feeling you have. *pats on back*
And RP and drama seem to go hand-in-hand these days. It's impossible to find a good RP with actually nice people in it as well as a good story, fun characters, etc. Stuff of legend, that.
But I'm hoping you can make some new friends here and we can all woo you with our weirdo charm!~
Oh, I just remembered something cringe-worthy...
When I went to sell my ... ... god, I don't remember what it was. Solar Cape, maybe? But anyway... I remember accidently selling it for 8k and not 80k like I wanted to. Before I could edit it, someone had already bought it and I was soooo mad. What's worse is that people on his profile were commenting him congratulating him on getting so many mistakenly cheap items which I kind find of scummy and dirty.
D: I was soooo stupid! I still regret that.

Yeah, I used to frequent the marketplace as well. Most of the money I have I got from buying and reselling for profit there.
But I think this guild might rekindle my interest in Gaia, if only for the fact that people are actually talking and doing stuff here. =)

I lost interest in the Marketplace when they did that "take some of your money" interest system. D:
Oh, that's good! I certainly hope it does.
I like to talk a lot so you're in luck - I often have to be shut up before shutting up.xD So I hope you will find lots to talk about and stuff to do here.

I found Gaia on the MMO section of a games sight called 'HeavyGames'.I thought it was cool so I joined.
I made an account called 'ttyrant911',which I could never get back into again for some reason,so I made another called 'ttyrant911rox'.I was a big n00b and used a lot of chat speak at first,because that was what I was used to on a site I used to go on called 'Stardoll'.I was banned from it by my parents for I reason I still don't know of today.
I changed my name to 'Fairy Alchemist 96' after I got accustomed to Gaia and its ways.The name was picked because I am a very big Artemis Fowl fan(I got the fairy part from there),and a very big Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel fan as well(I got the alchemist bit from that).
I have never saved 30k because once I get to 20k,I just blow it all on some nice stuff. whee
The first guild I joined was the infamous Nintendo Critters,which is still going,even if it's going down hill a bit now.
Oh,and my Gaia sis is Card Queen....Yay for Queenie. whee

I discovered Gaia Online back in 2005, but I don't remember how. I then joined as lilmagicalstar (which is now nasukastar. I took that account name and used it for this one ^^ ), but stayed active for like 2 weeks, since it wasn't as fun as it is now (like you could earn gold only by posting in forums. Since I'm not much of a writer... ^^; ). I got bored, quitted, and re-joined exactly 2 years later, in 2007, with this account. After about 2 years (my two-year anniversary will be on March 3rd), I'm still active, and I still like Gaia. biggrin
I tried to join many Nintendo-related guilds, but some were kind of inactive when they actually accepted me. The rest were boring, which isn't any better. But there was this certain Nintendo guild that wasn't like the others, where I met many awesome people: Nintendo's Critters, made by a certain person that goes by the name 'Primrose Moon' XD ^-^ I'm still a member today, even after about 1 year and a half.
As for n00bish stuff... Since I rejoined, I've never told anyone my password or such information, by chance (even if I've received 2-3 PMs asking for that... xd ). And ... Seriously, I don't remember having done anything I particularly regret. ^^
The thing I'll always remember is this particular event. stressed There was once this girl in the Questions & Assistance forum, which asked for help for I-don't-remember-what. She even ordered people to reply in a polite manner (you're my mom?! no), because she was apparently very sensitive (excuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess! XD ). So I replied, not the most polite way, but still, it was okay as an answer. A normal one, not the kind that would shock people. BUT Madame didn't like my answer! Shen then PMed me and started telling s**t about me, on how I was mean, how I shouldn't have friends, how I didn't know how to behave correctly in society, etc. She was saying that I was like this or that, when first, she didn't know me at all, and second, SHE seemed to be exactly the way she described ME. And she was the kind of person that must always be right, even if she wasn't sometimes. She said I didn't understand the concept of the word "harassment", but hey, when I checked the dictionary, I was right. I gave her dictionary.com's definition for that word, and she even tried to convince me that site was wrong, can you imagine?!? lol Man, that girl was something (something like a total b*tch, yeah... sorry for swearing, but you would have said the same, let me tell you!!). I reported her with proofs (PMs I received), because she was harassing me (she said I was harassing her, and that I was the one who began the fight (when she first PMed me), but hey, I was only trying to defend myself against her stupid allegations O.o; ), but she's still apart of Gaia now, so nothing was done. Grrr. -_-;;
Sorry for my rant, but I just had to share that. xd
