Cousin to the Anger Dome, the Appreciation Thread is meant to help you sing praises of something you're happy about, respect or just want to take a couple of moments out of your day to appreciate something or someone. The same rules apply for not disagreeing with what people want to appreciate.
This is a feel-good thread so please keep that in mind.
As for me... I'd like to shower some appreciation on Jim Henson for being my true idol in life. An optimist, a dreamer and a wonderful storyteller, I had a lot to thank Jim for and I wish I'd had the chance to meet him. I want to eb just like him one day and would love to dedicate this first post of appreciation to him.

I would like to be thankful that the Recession hasn't kicked us out of our houses, and that we're not running out of food or money because of it. 3nodding

I'm thankful for the lord God and Jesus Christ his son. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't say that first.

Conflict. My props go to all the scumbags, bullies and assassins of joy in the world. Without you, I wouldn't have a burning desire to prove myself or become nothing at all like you. Without you, my life would be easy and problem-free which would make me a weak creature indeed.
Cheers, scumbags. I hope you enjoy life as a secretary or bailiff or something else miserable.
I too, am a dreamer and free spirit.

I'm thankful for Fionn Mac Donnal.Ye don't him,but he's the best friend a gal could have, and the fact he hasn't tried to make a pass at me yet(like all the other boys in my life)means he's a good guy. 3nodding

Only now that he's dead do I realise how much impact Jacko has had on all of our lives. RIP Michael Jackson.
