Have you made your hot dog into an octopus before?
You cut 8 strips out of your hot dog, leaving an inch or so of whole hot dog at the end. Then you boil it until cooked and it turns out like this: Cute and tasty!

MrsrachaelSnape Very cute! How long does it take to make the octopus? It only takes a few minutes to cook...plus give a minute to cut beforehand and then another minute at the end to add mustard eyes and shape it just right! So 5 minutes is all you need!

I made those once for the boys I nanny for and they flipped out! They really enjoyed decorating them and then eating them, though the 4 year old wanted to play with his throughout all of lunch!
