This is an overview of the world in which this RP shall take place. Basically just a general set up and all that jazz.
The year is 2012. Although the world has been moving forward an exceptionally fast rate, much has not changed. Societystill moves just as everyone remembers.
At three separate locations, one story is unfolding. No one at these places realizes it, and no one has any comprehension of it. The lives that have been selected will have to endure and overcome numerous challenges in order to free the world and free their minds.
A new phenomenon has appeared across the world within the last few days. Numerous people suddenly become unconscious to the point that doctors assume they are comatose. No one seems to understand this but the number of reported cases seem to be increasing. What makes this matter even more curious is the fact that while some people wake up from this sudden coma, others do not, and they slip into death.
The truth behind this is that another dimension has appeared. It has been born in the subconscious of these people and the souls which have been selected are forced to undergo a rigorous test of mental strength. Those who succeed awaken to a new level of being. Those who don't, lose their consciousness and soul forever.
This new world was born out of people's subconscious. but is not a singular and personal thing. Everyone who enters this world shares the dimension. If one person enters this world, and then the person next to them enters as well, they will be able to see, hear, smell, and touch each other. The same goes for everyone else who enters while someone else is there.
This trial of the mind will awaken yoiu to another level of awareness. You also gain the ability to control your inner self and manifest its power in order to use in combat or for protection. In succeeding, you are also granted access to this world, and the privilege to find and discover the truth behind all that exists.
