(this can be edited, etc. just thought maybe helpful for some and mods do what you think is best with this. ^_^ )
So, here you are, a CL 10.0 and you can't wait to face the Endboss, right? Right. 3nodding You have your crew of six and totally think you cna beat the boss with the rings you have worn throughout the entire game. But! you find that the boss hates you and everyone with you, throwing temper tantrums and things that shouldn't even be able to work underwater at you. whee So, what rings will work for the boss?
Have you ever noticed that there are a ton of rings no one uses?Ah yes, those may be the answer if you think about it. wink

Long Range: Solar, Guns, Hunter's Bow
Sticky Help: Gumshoe, Scaredy Cat
Buffing: Teflon, Rock Armor, Turtle
Healing: Bandage, Diagnose, Wish, anything you can wear
No rings that hit more than once when used: Dervish, Slash, Fire Rain, etc.
Ah yes, I really never used any of these rings, so maybe they will work. Don't you think? *nodding icon here*
The strategy is to have about two people with Scaredy Cat. Scaredy Cat a Grunny Sub and the tail. Then attack the free Grunny Sub and work your way like that. When on the hands, below the left hand is a safe area. When you Scaredy Cat the tail, arms, body, head, you can hurry and use gumshoe when the boss is running away. With head on this, use RR4 (Full Rage) gumshoe and all throughout, use the listed rings from above to damage and heal.

I actually was lucky enough to find a Scaredy Cat ring today and I've been leveling it. It isn't Duct tape, but still.
( btw, Landshark nommed my head. D; )

wow! you are lucky!!! my scardy is cl 1. so i can take with me hunters bow, guns, and maybe gumshoe if i can level it to a 10.

OMNOMNOM~there should be a landshark ring that only drops from the landshark. xD

so, what rings are helping you out?

my endboss set up:
mantis, duct tape, solar rays, diagnose, defib, gumshoe, teflon, fitness.
i also was using hack for some time. but definitely for ss use your normal ring set to bypass all the crazy stuff then die "farther in the sea" to get to the null and throw on the appropriate endboss rings for the fight.
(just an opinon)
