Mugio Via~ The path which awaits you is a daunting and unforgiving one. Be weary those who choose to challenge it. This road will take you below the surface of the world, and there you shall witness all that is dark and unpleasant in the world. But in the midst of these terrible visions and experiences, lies the cold, hard, truth which you have always searched for.
A run down schoolhouse sits in the middle of a lonely plot of land. The dark clouds which had set in the day before have made themselves comfortable, in turn blocking out the morning sun. Surrounding this dank and dismal school is a large forest of evergreens. All of the trees together make an almost inpenetrable wall surrounding the property. The only connection to the outside world is a single path which runs all the way up to the main doors.
An old fashioned bell rings signifying the start of a new day. Unfortunately there is no new light to welcome the students. Darkness from the previous night still lingers in patches throughout the hallways. Dust from the empty classrooms and old chalkboards is thrown into the air as each student makes their way to their classes. No one stays in the halls long. The darkness and uncertainty it represents creates anxiety, whose only enemy is the sanctuary of a full classroom.

Minori opened her eyes slowly, blinking in the bright light of the morning. Everything was the same for her as it had always been. She checked her phone and as she saw the new phone numbers in her phone, she realized that everything had actually happened. A clock at the bottom of her screen warned her of the time.
"Oh Crap! I'm late!" She screamed franticly as she jumped up, grabbed a half-packed backpack and raced out the door. She began gliding at a decent pace down the street in an attempt to go quickly without running into anyone else.
She couldn't be the only one behind on schedule.

Faust had risen up out of a computer chair, and yawned.
was that a dream? He thought for an instant before pulling out his phone, and looking at the time. He widened his eyes
"Oh man, Oh man, I need to move!!" Faust called to himself, darting out of his house, pausing long enough to slip on his shoes, and began running outside in the direction of his school. He ran past many people, wondering why he hadn't seen any other students when he saw a familiar face coming around he corner on skates.
"Minori!!!" He called out to her, trying to get her attention.

"Woah! Hey Faust, how come I've never seen you around here before?"
She slowed to the equivalent of a walking pace in order to talk with him about everything that had happened in a less life threatening environment. Still quite jittery from the shock of the time she fidgeted while asking," Umm, do you want to hurry, I can't afford to be late. Again."
She looked him over, wondering if he had everything that he needed already at school. He was missing a backpack, so that seemed to be the case.

"Yeah sure no prob..." He started, before facepalming. Before Minori could ask him what was wrong, he replied,
"I just remembered....It's Sunday..." He felt like an idiot. Of course it was, he remembered he had been studying at his desk before he fell asleep. He groaned slightly, out of annoyance

"What? No way. I was sure that it was Monday and my teachers were ready to kill me at any second... Or was I just hallucinating again."
She whacked herself on the forehead with an unusual amount of force so that her head turned slightly red.
"Wow, I'm such an idiot. Really, though, I never knew that you lived around here. That's really weird."

"Well, I live just across the corner," Faust said.
"and, I'm not really that noticable.... but yeah, we're both idiots."
Faust groaned again. I shoulda checked the calendar on my way out... he thought. then, his stomach growled.
He chuckled embarassed.
"Well, I'm Hungry, wanna go get something to eat?" He asked her. Since they were out, might as well get something to eat.

"Yeah, sure. I'm sick of living on cereal. So, what do you like? I'm fine with anything except mushrooms and stuff."
She considered hitting herself again, just for good measure, but she refrained. Her head hurt enough as it was. Why does he use the word well so much.As she thought of the pure coincidence of the meeting she wondered if them living so close together had anything to do with the other world.
She laughed aloud and said," Well, I'm not really that unnoticeable. My house is the one down that other street with the horror movie feel. I mean, there's a messed up paint job and overgrown weeds that I've never taken care of."
She sighed as she looked at her watch. It even has the day and date on it.

Faust laughed slightly.
"Yeah, my place isn't so cheery either. Gray house, gray intereior paint, pretty dull." He then thought of food..
"How about some Ramen?" he offered. "It's cheap, and tasty."

"Yeah! Ramen sounds great!"
Minori searched around for her wallet for a second, hoping desperately that she had enough money for even ramen. Finally she tugged a small worn out pouch out from the eighth one that she checked.
She cheered slightly in triumph, "Looks like I have enough for ramen. I upgraded my rollerblades with spikes the other week and it was pretty expensive, but worth it. Lets get going! The early bird catches the worm... Although I guess it's too late to say that."

Faust Chuckled.
"Yeah, Personally, never fond of worms, He joked, then pulling out his wallet. He had just recently started wearing it, and making sure his money was in there. It was.
"Besides, If we both didn't run "late" we wouldn't have met up." He took a quick look at her roller blades, checking out the spikes.
"Yeah, those totally look expensive. Me, I spend it on games and other stuff. Anyways, let's go." He added, as they headed off.

"Ok, what type do you prefer. I like it salty." She clapped her hands together suddenly very excited.
Pausing and thinking for a moment she mused, "It sure was coincidence that we both thought that we had school on sunday right after the 'incident'." She didn't really want to mention the other world out loud in the real world.

"Personally, I like regular ramen. As for the whole sunday thing, yeah, I know. Great minds think alike they say." Faust replied, smiling. "Well, lets go get that ramen!" He called, sticking his hands up in a sort of victory pose. "We deserve it after that!!"

"No kidding!" Minori copied the pose before speeding up slightly eager to get to the shop. "Anyway I love that place! It might be the one shop in store that doesn't have a squeaky door too!" She laughed thinking about the groaning sound that her door made every morning. Similar to an old dog that doesn't want to get up.

"Yeah, I know." Faust replied, as they came up on the Shop, void of other customers. They walked in
"Oh welcome" the ramen shop owner said, noticing the two. "On a date?"
He asked, causing Faust to blush slightly.
"No, we forgot it was Sunday." Faust replied, sitting down. "Get me a regular bowl, extra pork." He ordered.
