Isaac opened his eyes. He was back in his room, sitting on his bed. He was glad that it was sunday. He was actually a little tired. Nadiyya was sitting next to him at his computer desk. He looked at her curiously. Was she still inconcscious? In an act that demonstrated Isaac's ability to be subtle, he jabbed her in the arm with his finger.

"Hey, Nadiyya? You awake?"

Isaac sighed and stood up. He checked his phone and was happy to see that his new aquaintences' numbers were all there. Isaac put his key back in his back pocket and looked out his window. It was still morning, so luckily Nadiyya and him could still go to Isaac's favourite restaurant for breakfast and discuss the happenings in the other world.

Isaac chuckled a bit at Nadiyya's response. He was also now happy that they could go eat. He grabbed her arm and pulled her out of his room and down some stairs to the foyer of his house. It was simple, but stylish. Hardwood floors, two large potted plants, large windows, etc.

"Come on. I'm hungry and want food so we are going out. If its any consulation I'll pay."

Isaac checked how much money he had and decided that this would be fine. He opened the door to the sunny day and the steel jungle that was before his eyes. His home was in a large condominium complex, but each suite was the size of a small two story house. What made his home nice though was the fact that it was on the 19th floor so there was an amazing view of the city, especially in the morning.

Isaac was full of excitement. he loved the small restaurant almost as much as photography. Sun still glaring though the large window wall on one side, Isaac ran down the white hallway over to the elevator, his shadow running with him, and pressed the down buttoned repeatedly, well aware that once was enough.

"Damn right. Nevermore's is the best? I thought you liked it too? You don't seem too excited. Did I do something or are you still a little groggy?"

The elevator arrived and the doors slid open. Isaac pulled Nadiyya in too and immediately pressed the button to close the door. He hated being in elevators with strangers. It was all too close. He then pressed the main floor button. The elevator moved exceptionally fast, and within seconds they were at the main foyer. There weren't many people in the room, besides the doorman who was drinking some coffee. Only a little of the sun reached the ground and the steets, which were already congested with cars and people. The main doors to the complex were dead center against another massive window, which was easily two stories high. As the two approached the door, the doorman nodded kindly and opened it for them. Isaac nodded back and walked down a wide set of stairs and onto the sidewalk.

"do you want to walk or cab it? I don't have enough for food and cab so if you are gonna be lazy, you are gonna have to pay."

Isaac had already started to walk there, even without Nadiyya's consent.

"Okay then. I wanted to walk anyways."

Isaac smiled and he walked towards what he felt heaven would be if it was a breakfast bistro.

"So, how has school been treating you lately. I haven't really been very social lately so sorry about that. I have a big photo show coming up soon so I have been spending my lunches in the photogrpahy room."

Isaac was enjoying this morning stroll. It had been a while since he had had one.

Isaac sighed as he walked along the sidewalk. There weren't many people out at this time which was a little unusual, but it wasn't as if he hadn't seen it like this before.

"Well that's good to hear. You have a competion coming up kinda soon don't you? Well as for my photos, I have no idea. I took some nice ones while I was away two months ago, but I'd like to use something new."

Sighing once more as he turned the street corner, Nevermore came into sight and Isaac went running. It was on the first floor of a old but tall building. Although there was a high end coffee shop and more fancy sophisticated eating nearby, Nevermore still maintained a rather consistent clientel and always did well foer business. Isaac believed this was because of the old out-of-city charm it provided. He stepped inside. A waitress greeted him by his first name and Isaac held up two fingers, like he always did to imply that there were two diners this morning. The inside of the establishment was very retro. Checkered floor, booths along the walls and a bar all along the kitchen with small red stools. Although it resembled a diner more than a breakfast bistro, the menu only held breakfast and minimal lunch options. The waitress took Isaac and Nadiyya to their usual booth and brought them some coffee. Isaac said thank you and the waitress left.

"So, what are you gonna have?"

As Isaac spoke, he prepared his coffee; Two creamers and three sugars.

Isaac looked a little disheartened when Nadiyya said she wouldn't be in the water as much.

"But you are so good! Why wouldn't they let you in as much. Are these newbs better than you or something? Don't let them steal your thunder."

Isaac took another sip of his coffee and browsed the menu. He didn't really need to because he already new what he was having, he just did it out of habit. He then thought of his pictures when Nadiyya spoke of them. What he wanted was a beach. He wanted sand, rocks, ocean, logs, everything. Although his other pictures were good, they were just some forest ones. He hadn't been to a beach since before he picked up his camera hobby. Isaac felt that he could take some amazing pictures there, but of course he lacked the beach. Sighing a little, he put down the menu onto the table.

"Okay, well my heart is set; both on breakfast and pictures. I want a Belgian waffle and I want a beach, respectively of course. I haven't had a waffle in a long time and I haven't been to a beach in even longer. I think if I went to one, I could pull off some amazing photos."

As Isaac took another sip of his coffee. As he did though, his phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and flipped it open. It was a message from "The Just". Isaac's face went serious as he read who it was from. Upon reading the message though, he became surprised.

"Well, apparently two more people have awakened. I wasn't aware he had more shepards. Or maybe they did it themselves? That is a pretty rare case nowadays though. I thought for sure that the strong willed people had all pretty muched passed through already. Oh well, I guess we will find out more later. Kind or rude of him to interuppt our breakfast though."

Isaac sipped some more, looking out the window and pondering what was going on.

Isaac laughed when Nadiyya asked her question about going to the other world.

"Oh god no. They are done. We don't need to worry about it. He was just informing us."

Isaac looked down at his coffee and pondered about the beach that Nadiyya had mentioned. He held the mug with both his hands, keeping them very warm.

"Hmm. That would be nice, but isn't it a little far away? The
photo show isn't for another couple of weeks but do you think we can find time to go and get out there? I doubt we could get a ride, so I guess we'd have to take a train or a cab or a bus or something. Scratch the cab actually. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE."

As Isaac spoke, the waitress from earlier approached, a little confused with the conversation she had walked in on. The menu items weren't very expensive at all and the two of them never had any money issues before so she was a little perplexed. Isaac looked very embarassed.

"Oh no no no. I was talking about something different. Please don't get the wrong idea. I'll have the Belgian waffle please, and some more coffee when you have time."

The waitress nodded and both her and Isaac looked at Nadiyya, waiting for her order.
