Altus Via~ You have chosen this road, the road which stretches far above the rest into the bright blue sky. With your pure intentions and warm heart, you are ready for the trial ahead. No matter what you face though, your inner light will be victorious.
A large school sits in the middle of a suburban district. It's old fashioned architecture and large grounds cause anyone who sets eyes upon it to reminisce about the "good ol' days". The large front doors seem to welcome everyone with a paternal smile and pat on the back. Autumn has began to set in, the leaves on the numerous trees scattered about the school property are beginning their change of colour. Some have already started the seasonal descent to the ground.
An old fashioned bell rings. It's chime echoes through the old hallways. The morning light pushes aside the shadows from the night before and opens up every passage so the optimistic and knowledge-yearning youth may move freely without fear or uneasiness. A new day has started, who know's what await the eager new students?

[it's sunday morning, right?]
Yoh woke up leaning against a tree in the park. "Wha...?" She grunted. That was...so weird...A dream?

Parisu woke up in his bed somehow the dream he had just was feeling distinctively real.
He walked out to the closet and changed clothes. It was gonna be a good day. Or so he thought it felt like something deep within had changed. He walked out of his home and went out to buy butter and cheese for breakfast as well as milk bread and everything he could need to eat a semi decent breakfast..." I should have done this yesterday..." he muttered as he walked past the park all the way to the convenience store in the other block.

It was unusual for Keishi to be up this early, but nevertheless, he was up. Laptop at his side and music blaring in his headpones, he walked happily though the park by his house. Keishi was unfortunately moved aside from the sidewalk as an old lady in a scooter came zooming towards him. Keishi then decided it would just be faster for him to cut through the park on the grass than to take the path, seeing how his plans were not in the same direction that the path was going. He walked past the tall trees, listening to his music. Although it was a little unsuiting for the time of day, Keishi still enjoyed it. He enjoyed it so much he neglected to see someone resting under tree he was passing by. Keishi was very accident prone so as he fell, he was completely accepting of the action. He had tripped over this person legs and fell flat on his face. As he did, a small golden key fell from his coat pocket in between the stangers legs. Keishi got up abruptly and wiped his pants of the dirt and walked backwards away, hoping he did not disturb the person he now saw as a girl. He hoped he did not injure her, but in thinking this, panicked a bit and turned in order to start running. Almost immediately after turning though, he ran into yet another person carrying some groceries. He managed to knock them all out of the person's hands. Keishi's face went pale and he immediately began to scramble up all the spilled groceries.
"Woah, I am so so sorry. It was an accident."
Though incredibly embarassed, Keishi continued to pick up the groceries which were more plentiful than he had assumed.

Parisu smiled. as a response. He picked up the groceries he had bought for his breakfast luckily not even the eggs sustained damage. He got up and handed the young man an orange.
"Thats okay. Here you look like you could use some Vitamin C"

[wait, what?]
"Oh! A-are you ok?" Yoh then spotted the key between her legs. "Y-You're!!!" Yoh was in shock to realize that this key was of this person's belongings. She immediately checked her pockets for anything, and next she knew, she had one of her own. "It...it wasn't a dream!!!"

((It will be explained a little later... It isn't really that big of a deal... sweatdrop ))
Keishi smiled at the person and happily took the orange. He bowed a little with gratitude.
"Oh, thank you very much."
Hearing the girl behind him yell out , Keishi turned around to see that she was is a state of shock. He was about to make a run for it fearing that she was angry about him tripping over her but then saw a small glint in the grass. Keishi ran and lunged for it without any regard of the people or things around him. he landed right at the girl's feet and grabbetd the key. Keishi then stood up, slighlty embarassed and very worried about the possible repercusions of tripping over the girl. He had to think fast and be careful as to what he said next. There was an awkward pause. Although Keishi was a very smart, he tended to fold under pressure, especially when dealing with females.
"Uh, umm, I, oh! Its my house key! Yeah, house key. I need it to get into my house. Thanks for drawing my attention to it."
He smiled to be polite but he was scared stiff. He decided flight would be the best decision here and began to walk back to the sidewalk.

Parisu had seen the whole action take course.
"House key? That is funny... It looks kind of like mine."
He said taking out his Key. He stepped forward and saw Yoh underneath the shadows made by the tree branches.
"Oh... its... I think I saw you in my most vivd dream last night"

Keishi stopped in his place as the man with the groceries spoke. He looked at the man's key, then back at the girl under the tree's key, then finally to his own key. This was a little weird. He didn't expect to see two people with personae this morning. His cover was blown, if you could even call it a cover. Keishi gave up and sighed.
"Well then. This quite the surprise. I didn't think I would run into people like you in under these embarassing circumstances. My name is Keishi, K for short. How long have you been active for? I don't remember seeing you in there before."
Keishi was a little puzzled. Usually he got a message from Isaac or Nadiyya when someone else awoke. He would pester them later, but for now he decided to eat the orange that the man had given him.

"I think it began last night..." it wasnt a dream then.
"I am Parisu... and i dont have any way of shortening it."
He took a couple more oranges and handed down one to Yoh
"So I believe you know more about the other world than we do?"

Keishi happily enjoyed the orange Parisu gave him. It was delicious, and fresh too. He ate each piece with care and appreciation, as if he hadn't eaten in a long time. This distracted him and prevented him from being subtle about his explanation.
"Oh me? Yeah, I have been going there for a long time, almost 3 years. I don't even know why I started going, but I got used to it. I was in the last year of school when it first happened. I don't do very well in battles though. I stick to info gathering. I can pretty much answer any question on any shadow I've seen. It was rough at first, but I managed to live survive long enough to meet two other people who were more battle oriented. I have been going in there with them for almost two years now."
Keishi's words were said very quickly and were muffled a bit every time he put another piece of orange in his mouth. After all though, Keishi was not one for proper and heavily civilized conversation. He would have tonnes to talk about, but he always put it in laymans terms, since he seemed to lose friends faster if he spoke any more complicatedly. There was one thing he left out intentionally though. His role as a shepard, and why he, as well as Nadiyya and Isaac, were in there doing what they do. It was not for public ears and the three of them promised they would not let out such information so willy nilly.

Yoh looked down over to the side. Then at the two boys. Yes, she's seen one of them before. Parisu. She decided to get up and approach them. She stood silent, deciding to just listen to the conversation.

Keishi looked a little puzzled at why this girl seemed so confused. He pat her on the back in an attempt to be encouraging.
"Hey, why all quiet? So what do you two think of the other world? Kinda spooky huh? How much have you seen of it?"
Keishi stood still, enjoying the orange Parisu gave him.

Keishi laughed a little at Yoh's response. He finished his orange and looked around the park for a second. Pausing, he then spoke.
"So, what are you two doing today? Seeing how, we are all in the same boat, I think we should get to know each other and stuff."
Keishi rubbed his his head, ruffling the already messy hair.
